We never did eat at Trail's End. It did look crowded on some nights when we went by, but the HDDR is right next door so that makes it all looked packed. Trail's End does carryout I believe, but again we didn't do that. By the movie they sell munchie type stuff & possibly pizza.

 I LOVE Trail's End!   :cloud9: :cloud9: :cloud9: You are missing out TERRIBLY!! There Blackened Mahi Mahi Is to Die For!

I'm not a wine drinker either. :sad2: Occasionally I'll have a wine cooler though. Used to drink beer, but don't really care for it any more. :sad2: I have to have the frou frou drinks--nothing milk based though. Favorite DRINK is "Sex on the Beach" (no comments VA-Bear :rotfl: ) Also been known to enjoy a jello shooter or 2, 3..... :woohoo:

Wine is OK here too... do like Sangria!! But my fav is vodka collins. Not sure why, they just are. Course it has been years since i had one, so maybe my tastes have changed! A good time to find out, the end of August! ;)

Thanks stinerbellesmom  . I've heard the food's decent @ TE. Don't think we'll ever get to luau or Hoopty Doo; family members are fussy eaters. Then again, I'm not too fond of that song either - sorta gets stuck in your head ala it's a small world.

We're going back in oct. for MNSSHP, I'm told they have haunted hayrides @ night that are great fun, ressies same day. Is it safe to assume that all of these sort of activities are clustered in the area around the boat dock(trying to figure out how long to allow for travel time via boat).

From what I understand the menu at the HDDR is the same as TE, of course I'm sure TE has more. TE is supposed to be one of the best places for breakfast. Not sure if that's food or price-- price has a lot to do with it though. The menu for HDDR is water, salad, bread w/ honey butter, fried ckn, bbq ribs, corn, baked beans, (hmmm could be missing something else here), and strawberry shortcake for dessert. You get your choice of beverages. It's all you can eat too.

Not to sure about all, but TE & the HDDR, 1 of the stores, & the playground are close to the docks. I believe the barns are at the other end of FW. You can take the purple or yellow bus for that. The movie is in the middle with the big store. You have to take the orange bus for that. Your best bet is to go to the camping thread & ask all of these questions there. They're very helpful!!! I think its a 5 min boat trip.

Nonononono. Don't missunderstand, I've had pleanty of crushes on shorter guys! And most of the time I think heels are an accident waiting to happen. Some of the tall ones are complete dorks.

Cause most of the tall ones have banged their heads to often on the basketball hoop! :rotfl:

stinkerbellsmom - just caught on that you've recently stayed @ FW. We've always considered taking the boat over from WL to grab a quick bite in the evening. I know they take ADR's but, do you know how crowded they are...if we could sneak in for a bite to eat w/o ressies on one of those nights when we're just too tired to go elsewhere?

We've done just that ... Trails End can usually get you in without too much of a wait ... it really depends on what time though ... we've gone at 9pm or so and it's pretty much been walk right in ...
