WOW a bride! Are you actually getting married in the Mouse's House?? My sis is gettin married on December 9th and a few of us are flying down -- Mom, Dad, a friend and myself. Hubby & daughter can't come too expensive.

She is using a little Chapel outside of Disney proper since it is 2nd for her & 1st for him as well as NO money.

Toe is doing ok...I wish I had my old toe back, though. Still limping, which is affecting my posture. That's the worst of it. BUT, I'm making the best of the situation and am just glad it wasn't something worse. DH and I got a couple of windfalls in the mail today that added up to just over $2k - we figured there's no way that money would have come right before the trip if everything else had been going perfectly, so I traded my toe for LOTS OF MONEY!! Woo hoo! Might have to make a couple of extra ADRs.

We're pretty much ready to go RIGHT NOW! Into the suitcase things go and we're ready to go out the door. I'm very excited. Wish I had some of that Hogwarts bone mending potion, though. Heh!

14 pages since I logged out this afternoon?!??! Whew, you people wear me out. I skimmed, ok? Let's see, cute kids SB's mom! Welcome to any new people! keishashadow, did I ever mention that my DS16 is on the high school tennis team? Love everyone's new avatars. The toe is in healing limbo...still trying to stay off of it, but I gotta pack and stuff, too, ya know...

We didn't sleep at all the last night... I TRIED to get DD to at least take a nap.. nope! I thought she'd sleep on the plane... nope! Ok, she'd definately be exhausted and want to go straight to the Hotel and nap... oh no! We had to go straight to Sea World and pet the stingrays (err... her not me!)!! Our plane left at 7:00am (ish), 2 hr 20 minute ride.. landed, shuttle to the car rental, and hit Sea World before 10!! Ok.. the child may not have been exhausted, but the mommy was!
After a 1:30 lunch at the Sharks Underwater Grill she was falling alseep on the seat, so we went to the hotel to check in. Our room wasn't ready yet, but the lobby lounges and sofas looked darn comfy to me.. but Noooooo, the child wanted to SWIM! So, I slept-walked to the pool and tried to keep my eyes open to make sure SHE kept her eyes open!
I did, she did and we lived happily every after.....

I'm so glad to hear your toe is better!! How many days are you going for again? Be sure to get a wheelchair the first sign of pain. You don't want to be in agony in Disney. Course they're lots of alcoholic options around should you feel the need to anesthetize a bit

Yes, I expect no sleep, either, on Monday night...my kids think I am crazy for making them go to bed early this week but they are going to be so tired!

We'll be there a week...coming back Aug 8!

And, yes: no agony, plenty of anesthetizing.
