Ahh well i got inspired by the limeness plus i like the pink and lime combo so i'll try to have both colors every day in Sept! I got a pink backpack and i will be wearing my lgmhpc with PigletFairy all over them and lime toes and nails with (i hope to find) piglet decals on them

Cyn - I had broken toe(s) before - @ different times, I'm a klutz, kept them elevated, iced & taped for a while...hope you're good to go soon! As for TSA locks - we used to use the $ store plastic fastners, got really lazy & haven't used any sort of lock for years - no problem, even on a cruise. Either we're really lucky or our luggage is so shabby, no one considers it worth their effort. We do use the brightly colored luggage straps (funny, I bought lime green ones years ago @ K-Mart), maybe that deters them?

Yes, keeping elevated as much as possible, taking ibuprofen as directed by Va-bear, taping them about half the day (because it also feels good to go barefoot without the tape). Haven't iced since day before yesterday...think I should still be doing that? There's still a bit of swelling, just a bit of purple under the neighboring toes; otherwise, the recovery is coming along better than expected.

So, I should use the locks or no? I am totally torn over this now. It looks like we're going to just pick up our luggage at the carousel (rather than using DME) because we did end up renting a car for the week (National EA for $171 before taxes...not too bad, I thought, considering rates right now!) So, if we're handling our own luggage, maybe the locks are superfluous... What to do, what to do. It's only 14 bucks, but that'll buy, like, a couple of decent pins!

BTW, my sweet DH got me a new lanyard...it's a gold 50th Disneyland one, and he turned my special Disneyland keychain into a trading medal that hangs from the lanyard. I really like it. I get to wear the "display pins" while my daughter wears the "trading pins". I'll look even more regal in my Radio Flyer transport!
