I went and picked up our Mickey's yesterday. The Home Depot had a ton of them but they were all behind another shade of green so i had to look. I took all the ones out (about a dozen) but they had more behind the little plastic door.

Thats one more thing off my trip list!

Hello Everyone!

We got back Saturday night (ok, Sunday morning)...



I can't possibly read everything you guys wrote the 17 days I've been gone, 5000+++ posts!!! If anyone has the cliff notes I'd appreciate it.

Glad to be back and sorry to be gone!

Back I am doing good to keep up over the weekend. I am a ltlle behind but I think post 3232 oris it 2323 should get you caught up.

Thank you! I will do that. The supervisor I spoke with was Elizabeth McLaughlin. I think she was the maintenance supervisor. The front desk actually refused to let me speak to any other dept. She said there nothing anyone can do for me except maintenance. I was pretty amazed at the attitudes there. At the end, one of the front desk CM, Alaina, seemed shocked that the manager never spoke with me. She's the one that arranged the snack pail. Honestly we had more than enough Mickey treats from left over snack (and 1 table) credits from the week before..lol.

We went through something like that ourselves at BWV's on our recent stay. We had plumbing problems.....Big overflow. About 7:00 p.m. Plumbers came up to fix it quickly. The plumbers called housekeeping and asked them to come quickly to clean and bring towels, etc....Two hours later with no housekeeping in sight, my DH called housekeeping a few times and he was told to be patient and he felt they where very rude and then DH called the main desk and could not get any manager on the phone....no one would put him through. He went down to the desk and a manager spoke to him right of way and was very nice and helpful. Within minutes houskeeping was there and new washclothes and towels. I had brought our dd's down to the pool to wait it all out. I think you have to physically go to the lobby and get a manger.

Otherwise a wonderful vacation.

November 20th is my anniversary! (November 19th is the day i totalled my car, but that's another story!)

No more new stories until your TR is complete young lady......I did like the cat update though. In collage I had to take my dads cat to the vet (meanest cat ever ) I enlisted the help of a friend of mine and we both wound up scratched badly. It turned out the cat had a bad heart and was in pain most of the time. Poor kitty. What an I saying poor Luigi he still has a scar.

Being a mom is great, isn't it!

Being a mom is...but wish I was home more. Yelled at both the younger ones today, loud enough for the neighborhood to hear. MY DS came running out the door crying cause he thought I was leaving him home, which I was cause he wouldn't get ready. Then told DD to move over so he could get in, which she wanted the window seat so yelled at both of them to get out and go back in the house, cause I had to go to work! Both in tears. *sigh* Now I feel real bad, though they are probably over it. Sheesh, I hate working somedays when I would rather be spending time with them!

But the older 2, oh yeah they are fun now to razz & embarrass! The stories I could tell and pictures I could show!!!

When you do go to HD your local store has alien green (and no, I did not take them all--just couldn't do it)

When you go across the lake--that HD had none-nope not one (someone from the DIS lives on the North Shore)

Since the DISUNC is at the motherland I regreat to inform you that it is a violation of DISBOARD policy to leave ANY LGMHPC behind on a swiping trip. Now since the DISUNC is not around I think we can let this one slide. Welcome to the club

Lizzy, first Moms (and Dads) always know. I didn't know how we knew until I was a parent. I can't tell you our little secret but when you are a mother it will become very clear. Second, Nursing home nothing, PD112 will just move in to yuor house. She took care of you for 18-20 years "HENCE" it will be time for you to return the favor

I just told my dh last night I was gonna go to WDW w/o him. He said "I don't think so, I'm your lgmh supplier."

All I have to say to that is he'd better start supplying some more! Not to mention kicking in some of the other green !!!

Hey he can come too someone has to get our LG drunk buts back to the hotel at night. Besides he could be our runner for drinks too.

Thanks--I'm glad that you'll let this one slide. My adult daughter said "You did what?" But my two grandchildren thought it was cool (I gave them each two)
And confimed that " Yes, the paint chips were free if you were getting them to decide on a paint color"
