Just wanted to say "Hi!" and to say that thanks to a combined effort of all 3 of us (vrandrox, pisces_regina, and myself) we now have about 85 Lime Green Mickey Heads to play with!! So if anyone is wondering why you can't find any LGMH's in Nashville, Murfreesboro, or Jackson, Tennessee... it's all thanks to us!!! :thumbsup2

:welcome: !! Good thing Teresa (crossfamilyane) is stopping in TN on the way back home than on the way down to Disney! She would be upset if all her LGMHPC's were gone when she went looking for them!

I went and picked up our Mickey's yesterday. The Home Depot had a ton of them but they were all behind another shade of green so i had to look. I took all the ones out (about a dozen) but they had more behind the little plastic door.

Thats one more thing off my trip list!

julie

:welcome: !! When are you going?

Things that I have learned from reading this thread:
I can't keep up with this thread :p
There seems to be a little swiping going on :rolleyes1
Reading this thread will make you dream about going to HD
In your dreams "Ah there are the lgmhpc-but what's this?--------Trading cards for all those people posting on that thread" : :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
When you do go to HD your local store has alien green (and no, I did not take them all--just couldn't do it) :sad2:
When you go across the lake--that HD had none-nope not one (someone from the DIS lives on the North Shore) :confused3

:welcome:

Things I've learned from this thread!
1) It moves faster than greased lightening!
2) you end up responding to something that was posted no less than 2 days ago. and you were on since then!
3) There are lots of family memebers on here!
4) You can make and plan to meet lots of cool new friends!
5) If you can't find enough LGMH's, then someone will mail them to you from their stash if you PM them!
6) No matter how you prepare the other Limey's will be at another park and you will miss any other DIS'er there unless you make previous meeting arrangements!

I pushed DH and his bad foot around the Portland, Oregon zoo last summer. He is a BIG DOG!paw: I think his weight broke the chair! which is why I am getting him a heavy duty electric scooter this year so I am off the hook! :thumbsup2
ARGH! I understand about the wheelchair business :crazy2: Last time we went to WDW hubby had to push me the entire time (10 days) since I started bleeding on the plane (was about 5 months preggers) We figured no sense coming home even though there was a huge cloud over the entire trip. :sad1: HUbby was winded much of the time since it seems the Kingdom is built on as hill and if you choose to go the wrong direction

Taking Dad this year and since he has had both knees replaced and I could only LOOK at wheelchair and never be able to budge it, gonna try for a Electric one.

:ssst: when we got back still had heartbeat for babe - but only 1 of the 2 that had been there <sigh>

Oh my gosh guys, I have been so caught up in doing soo many things, that I haven't been reading the Secret Green CLub, like I should. I've been really busy. I'm going to a new school next year, and I"m trying to figure everything out for that, and I've been school supply shopping, and clothes shopping, still need to finish unpacking from the beachouse, I have a huge head cold/sinus infection, so I've been feeling really bad, our cable has been going off and on, there have been several storms, so I get kicked off often as they were passing through, I've been trying to organize my computer desk, so I will have soem room for work, when school starts, and my room, I can't even walk in there, but I"m supposed to be getting all new furniture, so were pretty much going to take everything out of my room, get new things, and put it all back, so cleaning it now would be useless, the desk in my room was my moms when she was little, and the drawers get stuck, it has a cover and the cover's pretty much in half, and its all sticky from years of things being put on it, and etc. My room is about a medium sized bedrrom, and I have way too much furniture, I have a dresser, with about 6 HUGE drawers, it has to go in my closet, thats how cramped, and I have a queen sized bed, a couch, and a book shelf, and tv..not to mention this big bulky desk in the corner.. So Its miserable going into my room, and I need to pack for Disney! I have to find one more dinner restaurant, and my friend Brittney is going, and shes not thrilled, nor has she saved up ANY money!! And we can barely afford to go, and my parents cant pay her way..we may have to, shes in all the ressies, shes got to go, but hopefully she will have 400$ saved up by the time we get back.. (doubt it.) She had about 100 saved up, but she went shopping.. :sad2: I have a list of about 6 things I need to do on the DIS, and brittney calls me constantly, which I dont mind, well..I wouldnt mind if she stopped nagging me for being on the DIS too much, I have my mom to nag me about that. And I have to get Brittney excited, pack, make one more ressie, pick out one more restaurant, think of the shows were going to see etc. and yeah.. Anyways.. In conclusion to my useless vent here (sorry guys)... Thats my excuse for not reading the last hundreed pages or so of this thread! :rotfl: And DISUNC said kids don't have stress, problems, worries etc.! :rotfl: I heard that Cyn broke her toe. I hope you get better for your Wdw trip! I think someones son was sick, hope they get better soon!! And anyone else who needs my prayers or pity, just let me know! Hope everyone who is going to Wdw, or is there, has a safe, and fun time! And I'll Defintly try to make time to read there tr! I heard that we are moving our Lgmh meet to August2008, which works out superior for me! Am I correct that it moved? I need to know what month at least and year, by the end of this year. :goodvibes I need to swipe some more LGMHPC before I go, and my friend Brittney, teases me for having them.. :sad2: But oh well.. I'll deal with it! :wizard: Ok..MAJOR VENT FOR ME! Sorry I haven't been on as much!! And if someone would be a doll, and help me get caught up that would be wonderful! And whoever got the 5,000 mark, Congrads!! :thumbsup2 :bounce: party: I wanted to also say thanks to everyone on here, if I'm under stress from one of the above listed things or anything, i can come DIS with you guys, and I forget all about it. :goodvibes Thanks for that. :wave2:

~Love you all.

You get it down pat so I can send Emmy your way when she is a teen!!!!!!!

Hang in there Jessie. I have had teenagers & will have them again soon enough. Life is stressful for you all too. No bills, but the how will I fit in there problems. the stress of being "you" and not knowing if you will fit in with "them", or if they will like "you". Being dressed right, having what you need for where, new school. It is hard & stressful.

I am glad we are here for you and Lizzy, and other younger ones, to use as a sounding board at least. Not sure I am much help, but I do listen pretty well. And I totally understand most teen speak, though some of the new words & phrases throw me! :grouphug:
