Lizzy, first Moms (and Dads) always know. I didn't know how we knew until I was a parent. I can't tell you our little secret but when you are a mother it will become very clear. Second, Nursing home nothing, PD112 will just move in to yuor house. She took care of you for 18-20 years "HENCE" it will be time for you to return the favor

Shoot my DS9 is mad I didn't do a princess adr for him. I did do the 1900 park fare. I told him alice will have to do. We will look for the princess throughout the park. He is this bad now I hate to see how he will be in the years to come. We will have to form a support group to get me through it.

Hee hee. We will have to get him around with the Kris & Em so he can say he is taking them to see the princesses!

WELL folks.. looks like my disney dream has come to an end... only after a week of booking i have to cancel my trip... needless to say I can hardly talk about it...crying so hard.. but hubby decided we have more bills that are prioraty.. (which i guess he is right) but i lovvvvvvve disney and it was going to be my first trip for my lil girl..which makes it even harder... how do i tell my kids we just couldnt afford it after all....***sigh*** man so hard... i dont even want to see there face... oh my so anyways.... you all have a great time there over the holidays... maybe next year our dream will come true... thank you all for the warm welcome tho...

That is really hard, I know. Without the free dining I wouldn't have been able to do it either this year. But do stay with us and keep joining in. At least we all seem to live through each others trip and we can be a great support group until you can go!

He is my son and I have to admit he is a handsome guy. Football, track, and baseball is our life!

I'd love to introduce you two but you just returned from the World not too long ago and we are leaving this week. Do you and your mom want to take another road trip?

Let's see if I can find a good picture (read: acceptable to post on the Web per his standards).

Wait... no "I am just learning to go potty ones?" I have a few real good ones like that! And yeah, they have to approve any pix and things sent out before they go, so the look their "Kewlest, best"!

When you do go to HD your local store has alien green (and no, I did not take them all--just couldn't do it)
When you go across the lake--that HD had none-nope not one (someone from the DIS lives on the North Shore)

Thank you for asking, sb's mom. It does feel somewhat better, even though the black and blue is really starting to come out now. I do think you're right about me needing to keep off this toe as much as possible these first few days. I thank heaven I was so motivated and got nearly everything for the trip done ahead of time.

I have like 4 things left to shop for and some of that hubby can do when he's off tomorrow and thursday.

Gonna delegate housework to my kids (this is decidedly a benefit to a bad situation!)

There's no way to stay home from work here in the last week of the term, but I'm going to go as slowly and easily as possible. Lots and lots of advil, too. To be honest, I worry the most about putting my back out of whack. When I broke the big toe on the other foot last October, it resulted in many painful side effects, my back being the worst. So I think I'll just not push it this time. I tried to work out right away last time and that was a BIG mistake.

Have you been able to put a shoe on? Dh got the fancy one from the hospital. He just recently has been able to put on shoes comfortably. Take it easy. Do you have a cane or anything you can use?

I tell my kids ALL the time that their goal in life is to grow up & take care of me. I've even told them that they each have to have a room in their house for me because I will be living there 4 mnths out of the year. Dh will be atleast 3 months behind me!

I could just see my family's faces if they had to do this (wheel me around). LOL

I pushed DH and his bad foot around the Portland, Oregon zoo last summer. He is a BIG DOG! I think his weight broke the chair! which is why I am getting him a heavy duty electric scooter this year so I am off the hook!

But I want to be up fussing with things and getting ready!! I don't want to lie down right now! I have no papers to grade until Wednesday evening, and I need to be cleaning my house! Packing my toiletries bag! Sorting outfits into plastic baggies! Crossing things off my (thankfully ever dwindling) list!

Relaxing is all very well and good when there isn't a WDW vacation to get ready for!

Wah, this means I will STILL not get on my treadmill any time this week. ^%$#!!#$#&#!!!!!

Again, you have kids. Have them move stuff to you. And who needs a treadmill when you will have disney to hike all over! And a cane or crutch might help with balance now and no pointy shoes with heels!! Especially that glass slipper!
