Cool! :) I'm beginning to wonder where you haven't lived-- you've certainly gotten around a lot in your 19 years of living! I'm really impressed at how the young age of 7 you managed to care not only for yourself, but took on the responsibility of the disneph! :worship:

You are certainly quite the rolling stone! :rotfl:

SERPENTINE not only thru HD..But through LIFE...They never catch ya! ;)

FYI! I posted this once on another board here. Years ago I read that Nutrasweet is VERY UNTESTED as its long term effects! You shouldnt give it at ALL to kiddies. I also read that NS may have a hand in ADHD & all that kind of stuff. I am by NO way a 'label" reader or what to give kids etc! I am just a eat what you want kinda guy, and a fierce Fruit pusher & NEVER give ANYTHING with NS to any kid. Those articles scared the provbial you know what outta me!

I am a BIG NO NUTRAWEET FOR KIDS pusher!!!!!!!! Thats it...off my soapbox now!

I cant believe that it is NOT widely known about NS! Most kids can handle sugar...except my Goddaughter give her a sip of soda and BOOM...she was flying round the room! :hyper:

So...Im not going to say you're right twice in one night ...but..... I'm pretty non-nutrasweet too, obvioulsy. My first job out of college was working in a commercial lab that did the main FDA testing that helped get it on the market. Man, I tell you those mice were FREAKS!!! Obviously, they passed the requirements - but, that aint saying much. And besides the way the brain looked (my specail interest - and still specialty...) I was SHOCKED at thei females reproductive tracks (Enlarged overies, HUGE fallopian tubes, etc.) - I wouls totally, completely avoid it if trying to get pregnant (doesnt apply to you Disunc :) ) Ok - Ill step off now too - got me on one of my "big" topics too.

No, we just went there to look at the Christmas decorations. This is the only part of WDW that DH really likes. Loves the great Northwest..if we could only afford to stay there, I might get him to WDW more often, at least with less coersion..

While we were there, we went out to look at the pool area. A few ducks were there, with a momma and 6 (very new-like days old) babies...My boys were in love..they are rough and tumble guys, but they love baby ducks, chicks, and of course, toads... :rotfl:

All this Aquanetting is making me think aobut my neighbor when I was little with the BLUE hair - wow, she'd almost fit in here!!!! (I loved that crazy sweet woman - she fed her cat shrimp... as if it were her baby.)
Was her name Sadie? And did she fill in her cracked teeth with candle wax everyday? And always wear a 5 inch Wide plastic belt in the same color to match her housedress????? Lets not forget the Big Ball dangling disco earrings! StYlin!

Wow, those are nice benefits!! I love comp time, the problem is most of the time, you don't have time to use it...that's why you got it in the first place...I had 8 weeks paid sick/maturnity leave at my last job..I left one day, had DS8 that night, didn't turn in my notice til 7 weeks 4 days later...until I was sure the direct deposit had been made....don't worry, they definitely had it coming to them... :thumbsup2
;) I work 3/12 hr shifts I can call in sick 12 times a year! :woohoo:

Theresa, sorry to hear about your day. Yes my nerves are wracked with worry here. Thanks for the thoughts. Hey my youngest just had tongue tie clipped in May. Not too big of a deal for him although it was kind of tender and he didn't have much appetite for a day or two. Who is doing the procedure for him? Our pediatric dentist finally did it for us. I had been trying to have it done since he was a baby. breastfeeding was horrific with him but couldn't get anyone to do it. Finally found a pediatrician who would ok the procedure even though he did ok on his speech evaluation for preschool. He was kind of hard to understand by anyone who wasn't used to listening to him. We had done lots of exercises to strengthen the tip of his tongue and try to stretch it out some over the years. Now that its done his speech is great and I can't remember the last time some stranger didn't understand him. I'm really glad we got it done.
Just got back from the lake and trying to catch up on reading. Your message was so good to hear. My ped doc is going to do it. He said as long as his speech therapist said thats what needed to be done he would do it. He wants to wait till just before he goes back to speech in the fall or right when he starts so his teacher can work with him from the start. How old was your son when he had it done? I was wondering how the results were going to be. I'm a bit nervous.

My son was 4 1/2 when he had it done. Do they do it in the office with anesthesia or what. They gave brody laughing gas (I had to pay extra for that) Then after the gas kicked in they gave him local injections around the tongue and then did the cautery/cutting. The procedure itself took two minutes it was the 30minutes of trying to keep the gas mask on him that was tough.

Theresa you're going to florida for 28 days. Oh I'm so jealous. What plans do you have beside wdw?
My inlaws live in Lakeland. We are staying at a HI just outside of Disney for a week. 2 days at the universal resort hotel and 3 days at the nick hotel. This also includes time driving down and home. We are stopping in Chattanooga for 2 nights on the way down and on the way home 1 night in GA. and one night in Nashville. This has taken me a year to pay for this trip and to save up for spending money.

OMG NOoooooooooo...... this was the sweet southern little old lady kind of blue haired lady!!! Ms. Mac was her name - all about lavender water perfume, big pearl choker, NEVER in a house dress (always a lovely shift, or similar...) - quite refined - well except the hair!!! But, thanks for the laugh - Ms Mac would be APPALLED btw, a VERY southern thing to be! :)

cuz if I still lived in Trenton, the shrimp would be from China, frozen, and about 3 months old!!!

Let's see....you can get a nice fresh CARP from the Detroit River, if I recall... :rotfl:
Naw all my son caught this weekend was blue gill from the lake we were at. All you get out of the Detroit river is sludge. Thats one thing that has changed. I remember as a kid we would go fishing and bring it home to clean and eat now I wouldn't let my kid fish in it if it was the last place on earth.
