Ok, the Secret Green FAQ is up. What do you think? PLEASE feel free give suggestions about what else ought to be included. Remember, it's post #3232 and we can refer newbies to this post (or just repost it) whenever they ask or whenever we welcome them. I think this will help keep new folks from feeling lost or left out because they can't go back and read several thousand old posts! I will update whenever needed.

Before I go any further I must first offer a confession & beg for forgiveness!

When I first starting posting on this board I read through about 45 pages then stopped, because life stupidly got in the way. (I know no excuse) Anywho I picked up again somewhere around the 100's w/o reading the middle.

Yesterday & today I decided to make up for that & attempted to make up for that by reading the stuff in the middle. I left off at pg 164. I still have to make up my reading from there up until about the time that Taralee met with Lizzy & mom before there trip. (could be anywhere from 2 to 100 pages on this board )
The reason I'm confessing is I wanted to tell you after all that reading I felt motivated into making a HD run. Not just 1 HD, but to 2 HDs. I had to make dh my accompliance (notice the use of the word "make", I'm not sure what got into him, but I'm gonna get it out ).

The first HD netted us only 3 dark blue MHs. ALL of the green ones were gone! We fared much better at the 2nd HD, we got 16 LGMHs

Back to dh, he kept going on & on about stealing, not listening to me when I told him we prefer the term "swiping". I mean really, I did tell him I'd bail him out of the poky if needed (I just didn't say when exactly ) I told him to imagine he was Tom Cruise from Mission Impossible, I even hummed the music for him. I told him I wasn't going to let him wear any of my Lime stuff if he didn't cooperate.

The good news is I have 16 more LGMHs. The bad news is I have to map out more HDs in between my required reading.

Do you often make your DH imagine he is Tom Cruise?

Or is it just Tom Cruise In MI1, 2 or 3 that you force this upon him?

What other kind of music to you "HUM" to him?
How loud is this "HUM"?
Do you get close to his ear & "HUM'? ...Cause that has been reported back to us as being quite annoying! And NONEFFECTAL!
Do you call one of your children Suri?
If so, has anyone every seen her?

Duuuude! It was 109 in Redlands yesterday where we were shopping (my DS BURNED his arm on the metal seat belt when we got back into the car), and 111 at my grandma's house a little further into the valley. We were actually congratulating ourselves that it was "only" 104 here at home.

You're brave (like us) venturing out into HELL for awhile instead of resigning yourself to being stuck in the house (which, btw, was soooo much nicer once we got back here, lol) Got to admit, though, it was only about 35% humidity. We are going to DIE in FL (have I mentioned that?) I don't love humidity.

Hey Cyn, how is it going with the fires out there? That is my old stomping ground (went to HS in Big Bear) and would feel much better (I hope) with a report from someone who is nearby, instead of the 15 seconds we get on the national news. Hope all is well...

I found Koolaid packets to put in a water bottle.....they were a little more money though....I think they were 2.89 a box of 10....we are going to try them out before we go to disney.

I love the kool=aid packs! The only thing I found out was you have to add a packet to 8oz. of water not 16. No wonder my son said they stunk the first time he drank one. Guess I should have read the dir. first. I went out and bought a couple of cases of 8oz. bottled water to take to Fl. with us. I figured we could refil them in the drinking fountain and the kool-aid will mask the taste of the water. LOL

OMG NOoooooooooo...... this was the sweet southern little old lady kind of blue haired lady!!! Ms. Mac was her name - all about lavender water perfume, big pearl choker, NEVER in a house dress (always a lovely shift, or similar...) - quite refined - well except the hair!!! But, thanks for the laugh - Ms Mac would be APPALLED btw, a VERY southern thing to be!

No, we just went there to look at the Christmas decorations. This is the only part of WDW that DH really likes. Loves the great Northwest..if we could only afford to stay there, I might get him to WDW more often, at least with less coersion..

You should really try to eat at WCC, it is hilarious. I read about it on another topic board-- I think the food board or resort board, can't remember. Anyway we were just going for lunch, we ended up staying for about 2 hrs because the kids ( & even grumpy ole dh) were having such a great time.

I didn't tell them what to expect so to see them experiencing things as they happened were even more hilarious. The food was really great too.

My inlaws live in Lakeland. We are staying at a HI just outside of Disney for a week. 2 days at the universal resort hotel and 3 days at the nick hotel. This also includes time driving down and home. We are stopping in Chattanooga for 2 nights on the way down and on the way home 1 night in GA. and one night in Nashville. This has taken me a year to pay for this trip and to save up for spending money.

Sounds like a fun time.

My son was 4 1/2 when he had it done. Do they do it in the office with anesthesia or what. They gave brody laughing gas (I had to pay extra for that) Then after the gas kicked in they gave him local injections around the tongue and then did the cautery/cutting. The procedure itself took two minutes it was the 30minutes of trying to keep the gas mask on him that was tough.

I'm not quite sure. My doc told me he would discuss it in more detail when the time comes. How are you boys? Has the fever come down any?

We do that every winter take our picture at a ski lodge or at the broadmoor hotel. Always makes for a beautiful holiday card.
