OK - here's another newbie that has stumbled on to this thread and I am sooo glad I did!

Is this only done in WDW or at DL also? We are going to DLR in May, then WDW in Sept next year. I will have to pick mine lime green Mickey up!

:welcome: to the party: Glad you found us. Adn according to CYn, who lives in CA, it is a DW thing! :thumbsup2

When you get on the Secret Green Club, who are you most likely to find online? For me, and96 always seems to be on when I"m on, and so does Lauren Elizabeth. :goodvibes: What about you?

Normally you and Stinkerbelle

PD and I just got back (she has accomplished her lifelong dream {To get a friend with a boat!}) It was gorgeous on the water today, it wasn't to hot, which is a VERY good thing. Thank you all for keeping the posting under 10 pages, that was very good of you. :thumbsup2

Well, I dunno. *I* wear my LGMHPC to DLR when I go, but I haven't seen anyone else there with one on, so. On the other hand, from most of the reports here, few people ever spot them at WDW either, even though lots of people from the DIS apparently wear them there, so who knows? I will continue the trend of wearing my LGMHPC at both places. Gotta fight the good fight, whichever coast I'm on!

Let us all keep in mind that I have a legitimate medical excuse here. (points to toe) :rotfl: I will have to visit many of the special pharmacies they have on WDW property. :teeth:

Or you could do it our way (cheap-o's that we are) and haul your own supply in:banana: . I'm still complaining about the small wine glass of sangria @ Spoodles that cost nearly $10 (automatic 18% gratuity).

When I approached people dressed in lime green @ WDW I got the look usually reserved for psychos:crazy: . Well, excuse me - why else would you wear head to toe lime green.:confused3

Wonder if those CM-like name badges you can have printed up could be adapted for DIS'ers? I always lose my HD mickey heads early in the day.

Cyn - have a wonderful trip to the motherland!

Okay, i just filled in my calendar with all my band stuff through Oct. WOW, mystery of why I don't have a life SOLVED! Lot's of extra rehersals! Ya know, if it wasn't for the Disney trip w/ band this year, I might have quit! There's also that whole looks good on a college app. thing to consider too!

Sorry, I needed a vent.

When we were at the Radisson (stayed there the first 4 nights of our trip) they had coupons for "one free" of the following - Water from their lobby deli place (used 2 every morning to take with us.. and again at night)... drink from the poolside bar.. drink from the lobby bar. And it was ANY drink! I couldn't believe it! And the check in person and I started chatting, she is originally from a town about 30 minutes from me.. so she gave me a bunch of them. I wish I drank more.. or rather, could drink more, because I was always with my DD. But the times at the pool I'd have 2 drinks (only at night when I knew we'd just be going up to the room later) and they were special drinks that cost 8.95 each. Don't remember the name, something yummy with stuff like pineapple juice, cranberry juice, chambord and grey goose! I gave the bar tender a $2 tip each time... well worth it! We were only at the pool for 3 of the 4 nights.. and I had a bunch to give away to this really nice group of people I found in the lobby the last day. They received their one coupon each.. and were very grateful for the rest of them.

I like the fru fru drinks on vacation..especially when they're free!

At AKL the pina-colavas are sooo yummy. Like a pinacolada with some kind of raspberry something swirled in. I don't think it was terribly bad at $7.95 (I think), but it's not cheap! Especially since you have to tip on top of that.

Oh I love foo foo drinks. We were in chicago father's day weekend the hotel we stayed at had free drinks I didn't take advantage of it because it was beer or wine. Wine gives me a headache and since I had emmy I can't drink beer. I love free drinks though. My husband took advantage of it big time.
