Yo!!!

Checking in and getting a dose of AC before heading out to the pool with the boys. It is so dang hot!

Yummy! I gotta make a grocery store run later, when it gets cooler. (90 degrees heat index nearig 100)No AC in the van and the ice cream wouldn't make it home. hmmm... eating it there... Now that is a good thought! Or I can take hubbys "cluttered with trash" car and have AC... hmmmm?!

Oh and I like anything with toffee or carmel!

I'd go with the one with AC!!

It is a Paramont (sp) owned amusement park just out side of Richmond, VA. It has a water park inside it, about a dozen or so different coasters, a huge kids section, based on Nick I think. It has a kids coaster called Scooby doo that can scare teh piddidle out of an adult, and lots of real cool things. Unlike Busch Gardens here, which is a lot of walking to get between the sections and lots of shows, this is all park. We love it!

Very Cool! I thought it was somewhere in England or something like that, not another Carowinds type place!

That would be cool. We haven't been to KD for a while. DH has a cousin who works for Northrup Gruman & they do an employee's day in Oct. We usually go then when we go, but I would certainly like to go sometime just to meet. I've only been to BG once when I was 20. I've been to Norfolk a couple of times. My brother ended up there when he was still in the Navy after he left San Diego not sure how close you are to there. Someone on another thread (possibly the where are you from thread) said something about possibly having a meet for MD, DC, & VA-that would be cool too. DH & I aren't the riders, ds & dd1 are the riders! Of course dd2 likes the little ones.

Norfolk is right across the water from us. You go through Hampton before you do the bridge tunnel. So you have been here and not known!

And a meet like that would be cool!

Great. The hours change the weekend we get there. Lucky you. You should get some stuff in. From what I have read most people leave in the evening so hopefully it won't be too busy. Good Luck. We are leaving for florida the day after you get back. Guess we will have to shoot for a CA meet. My DH wants to visit his brother in Oregon this winter and I said If we do I am going to DL. Wonder how far of a drive it is from Bend to DL. I'll have to check it out.

I believe it's quite a ways. We were in Portland last summer and it was quite a few hours cause you are driving through 1/2 of Oregon, even from Bend, and then a good percentage of Calf, which is no small state. But hey! You are the queen of road trips!!!

Sorry about the loss of sleep all weekend-- I can relate to that alot! Sorry about the pain though--that stinks! Have a great day-- I'm supposed to getting a Stinkerbelle dressed & ready for church. I'm getting used to my hair being lime, I think I'll run (drive) down to CVS and see if Loreal makes this shade of green!!
My eyes still freak me out though..lol. My eyes are dark brown so seeing them so GREEN... it's weird!!

Can you say Contacts!? They may be able to find a color that will make those brown eyes green!

Well, try to go soon ! i fuss at myself for nto going more.... But, you're right it's really not too relaxing. I do remember fondly one period - of about 12 seconds - when my little one was actually sitting safely on someones lap and the older was playing Uno w/ the old neighbors kids....I closed my eyes and SOAKED in the breeze and the great usic. It was a GREAT 12 seconds!

Now you see if I'd printed up directions to begin with I wouldn't have had to find out where things are by getting constantly lost! But, I've found some interesting things while driving around aimlessly

And sometimes those are the best things to find. I get some of my best pictures that way!

OK - here's another newbie that has stumbled on to this thread and I am sooo glad I did!

Is this only done in WDW or at DL also? We are going to DLR in May, then WDW in Sept next year. I will have to pick mine lime green Mickey up!
