Yes.. It's me.. I just coloured my hair green. I thought that's what some of the other's did..lol! I kinda knew that wasn't you VA But, ya never know!

We are lucky there are days his shirt can touch his back. He has tried just about everything, except acupuncture (the needle thing) and back surgery, which he wants to hold off as long as possible, if not forever. They also want to put in an external pain pump, which would take him off of orals (and have the stupid ER docs quit admitting him as a drug addict due to the meds he is on) and also take away the "fuzzy/muzzy" feelings orals give you. I am hopeing he is sleeping now. Will update when he does me!

Good thoughts and prayers going to Chip and your family. If only we could wave a magic wand and take our childrens hurt away. We are all with you in spirit.

My Rx is a week @ OKW, if you're still not feeling up to par, follow it w/a 3 or 4 night DCL.

Wonder if you get a MD to write a script for it...will the IRS accept it as medical deduction?

LOL! Yesterday when I was in Golden Spoon buying my beloved frozen yogurt, the girl asked: "Do you want a receipt for that?" and I said "Oh, if ONLY this frozen yogurt were tax deductable!"

WOW, talk about a bad start to the day. Look on the bright side: The dog could'vee peed/pooed in the house then you'd have to clean it up, If your dh's phone was on then, it could have run out of battery in a real emergency, at least you can still post. Yup, that's about it, now go get some coffee/tea, and relax, 'cause you deserve it.

Ahhhh, thank you I feel better already. I'll have to hug you the oldfashioned way--- ((((((((HUG)))))))))). I feel so antiquated! I don't do coffee or tea, but I am drinking a propel!

I don't know. I think my work did it. I don't want to ask, because you know me, I'm only on here breaks & lunches! I repeat breaks & lunch ONLY!!!! I did notice that when I hit the semi colon & the ) to make a wink face the old fashioned way-- it posted a smilie so I guess that's something. I may ask someone, but I don't want to make trouble. I have it at home.

Of Course I can, I would have made Stinkerbelle's,Yours, and Teresa's last night, but i rushed trough everyones, and they all looked horrible, so today, i"m taking most of the day to make you guys beautiful Limey avatars. And yes, Compliments do help.

Just concentrate on your classes, enroll in activities outside of school (softball is where I made some really good friends), and remember middle school isn't forever.

HUhm I realize that after being away from this strand for only 1 day! Yes I had to sleep and eat at least once this week Gosh I have missed a lot.

I hope I am not stepping on your toes BUT i think the gist of what is going on: you are being locked out of certian groups? Feel like you are alone? WELL let me tell you a bit about me ... I was part of an "experiment" in my school distric. School went from grade 7 - 13 (live in Canada) and since my B-Day is late in year that meant I went when I was only 11 and less then 5 feet tall. In the SAME school there were peeps who were over 6" and 19 years old URG I spent my first day locked in my locker. I HATED school, went to Univeristy and met my hubby (bestest friend).
Swing forward to daughter in grade 7. She was older than most since B-day is in March. BUT things went horribly wrong quickly when she got caught on wrong side of fence with other girls (refused to be catty etc) She began protesting school in grade 8 to the point were she missed 50 days for mental illness. Still pulled off a 85% average and with trepidation went to Highschool. She LOVES it now that she has had the chance to meet new friends. Her circle is only 5 deep but they are strongly tight to each other without bieng unwelcoming to others who are new!
Son spent most of highschool wondering what to do -- figured he was there for "fun" He came into his glory those 5 years. BUT when he left for college WOW what a different kid we have now. He lives in a townhouse with 4 others and is doing wonderfully.

I guess what I am trying to say is: life can really be a bummer to some of us during our early teen years ... girls are rotten to each other at times. BUT the tunnel does brighten. Hold tight to whatever glimmer you have, it seems you are forming a tight family here. USE all of them for the support you need and consider them your family/friends of CHOICE!!!

Oh crap Nsalz!! I can't download, and for me to view the picture, I have to download it.. do you have a photobucket account? Go to www.photobucket.com and Register. its free! Then once you have registered, save the picture you want me to turn green, by right clicking the picture and click save as, then you log into your photobucket, the home page, and you see where it says my album, click that, and then in the mid/top left it says Uplod pictures, and browse. Click browse, and scroll through your pictures saved, and then click the picture you want and click upload, or submit, whatever it says. Then once it uploads. There is a check box under the picture, the check box says generate img and url code.(something like that) check that box and press enter, the it has a page with a bunch of img's and urls' (a bunch of codes) find the box of codes that says "For Forums, Vbulletin etc" something similar to that, and you select alll that text in that box, right click, copy, and then when you reply on the DIS, right click and click paste. You will see the code in the reply box. Submit your post, and i will see the picture, exactly like I posted my icons.. Then I will save it and make it.. Not so hard eh'?

Please lift up prayers and positive thoughts for my son, Chip. I have mentioned that he has broken a large majority of his bones & has cronic back problems. After a car accidn't last Nov. He was told that "all" his verterbra in his spine are in a "chronic condition", meaning that along with the 4-5 lower ones that have compacted or compressed, the upper ones are starting too.

The humidity is non-stop here now. for us 70+% isn't to bad, but for him, it makes the pain worse. He can feel the weather changes befroe they come.

He did see his cronic pain doc yesterday, which was a day early, but hasn't slept over 4 hours any night in the last 2-3 weeks and not keeping much food down eiter. She did change up his meds and put him on 24 hour bed rest to see if it would release some.

As always, there isn't much I can do for him, except listen and pray, but hopeing even more would join in with us that he can function again soon.

Ahhhhhh, (((((((((((((CHIP))))))))))))))). He sounds like such an amazing guy!!!! You both are so lucky to have each other! Love the picture of your kids, very cute family!
