I just helped out with a little boy's Star Wars themed birthday party. I'm off to sleep for the next year!

Nope... My family NEVER TOOK ME ANYWHERE... also a story there... and it was too far away even when I lived in Lexington Kentucky. Now that they have the indoor water park I would LOVE to visit it.

We go every year... Cedar Point has the MOST roller coasters... They have the Mean Streak...

Nice of you to help out - and yes, many many years of sleep needed after little boys b-day parties. I have been excited this week because my younger cub said he wants to go to DC this year instead of having a pary - wow, does that make me happy!!! (NOt only because I DC, but also because parties just dont come easily to me. So I know the Mom really apprciates your help!)

My weekend involved lots of couch and slowly getting upright enuff to use one of John's laptops

I'm a "woodie" also!!
Me i am NOT a "woodie" I am terrified by the creaking of the wood and wondering if it will crack

ANd here, I am the "old lady" as most of these kids are in their 30's to mid 40s. One or 2 are close though. I think I had 4 years on someone, but since I can't remember who 'xactly, won't mention names!

Nosy is good. I am one of those who ring in at aruond 3 years now (wow has it been that long gang?)

We are small and sweet - though awlays VERY glad to have newbies too! We go thru spurts of more and less talking. I am happy with slow (kind of my pace in general....except when it comes to watching my active kids...) But for those who like more 'action' many are active in other 'faster' threads too. (I'm all over the boards - this is just my HOME> w my Llimies.) But, I'm even too slow to take in different boards - barely even check my Facebook.....

We have many who've been here about 3 years - too many to name really - and a few newer too!

Yup i check SEVERAL other threads but this is the only one i ever really post on and consider it my HOME I like small but mighty

Somehow that reminds me. You mentoined you'd had some 'issues' w/another board/thread and might share more soon - ready to share? (Im nosy too!) Just wondering about your bad experience - hopefully, we can help heal you!

My ONLY reserve bout all this... is my "friends" are on the Dis... while they are NOT HERE... and I HAVE A NEW IDENITY...I am trying to hide from them totally. Just like you guys hang out here we all HUNG there. I racked up 2995 posts in just over a year. I would not expect them to find me here.. but you never know. It's just complicated.

O.K....Short version...

We all would pick on each other... and we all have DRAMA in our lives...( and my friend was LOADED IN IT... A tough run of bad stuff and luck.. but I did not mind.. nor did anyone else. We were there to listen and to support each other.) but apparently My Drama and my Teasing was the worst and my friend( and we used to call each other) snapped one day. When I asked what the problem was.. she said "nothing" at first. Then when I got jumped on.. I e-mailed her about what the deal was, .. and why she unfriended me on FB... she went off and told me NOT TO CONTACT HER AGAIN.I apologised... and was not accepted. I have NEVER NOT had an apology accepted. And I am still hurting over that. I just don't know how to handle it. And the thing is.. I apologised... BUT I still really have no idea what I apologised for.. Reguardless.. it was not accepted

So I can't hang out there anymore and apparently she went behind my back with PM's because NONE OF THIS happened on the board.. but MOST will not associate with me.. and I just can't unfriend them on Facebook.. I'm not that kind of person. But they ignore anything I say to them.
