ok news from the chiropractor: most of my problems are stemming from the car accident in March -- gave me a ton of forms to fill out and send to insurance company, and made me appointment to see him again on Wednesday. I feel a tiny bit better but i sure wish i had gone sooner.

Afterward we went out for poutine -- think clogged arteries on a plate, french fries with cheese curds & gravy, oh yummy, then started the hunt for a dishwasher. came home on Saturday from groceries to a small lake on kitchen floor. Now we have the daunting task of finding one that will fit in our house -- needs to be portable apartment size.

I think my DH would sympathize with you. I have every possible thing for scrapbooking and card making. I do make my own Christmas cards and birthday cards, but scrapbooking....Well I have lots of great ideas and tons of materials and no time to sit down and make the books. The scrapbooking and cardmaking materials have taken over my dining room. There is definitely quite an investment in that stuff. I'm sure it drives Dh crazy, but he usually doesn't complain...just rolls his eyes and sighs alot!

I make my Greeting Cards/ Announcements.. etc too. Been doing that for years. But I am so very cheap Scott just loves to spend $$. We were raised totally different

He does a LOT of things that drive me crazy...
But He's a train nut too!
Every Christmas (well...it starts going up in early Oct. and isn't completely away until late Feb) we put up a HUGE display...trains and Dept. 56 houses. It takes up the entire basement. Being the good Hubby that he is and knowing my (ok, obsession) for Disney, we have started a "Disney World" section upstairs...we have the Monorail, Poly, Contemporary, WDW Railroad, Main St. Station, Castle, Eporium, etc. I'll have to PM you his website, I'm sure your DH would like looking at the trains.

I love things like that for Christmas... But not forever. His layout and an article are in this months Classic Toy Train Magazine.

Happy Friday, all! VAKatt, my dh hobby is guns, and I am thus far limiting him in cost and making him use layaway to buy them, but yeah, he has his eye on one for 1500. He has 2 handguns, with a 3rd on layaway now, plus rifles, shotguns, etc. The boys will be easy to scare when my girls get to dating age. He's also an expert marksman, and some of the pricier guns he WANTS so he can get back into competitive shooting, but gotta be able to afford the hobby, kwim? I on the other hand feel guilty for spending $30 on a couple pairs of shorts for me. go figure.

I would come close there. My dad had a fair collection so now I have them. But I was raised up in the country. Loved to shoot all kinds of Rifles and guns.

Ok most of you guys know my son Nick but for you newbies a quick info! He is 6 and has been diagnosed with pdd-nos... (aka high functioning autism) well he has his regular routine.. Now he has taken it upon himself to sign MY name to his folder. I went to sign it the other day and looked down and he had already signed it for me.. He even got my T right.. I make it weird.. I pointed it out to his teacher and she was dying she said she even looked that it was signed and seen the T and oked it I told her I wanted to keep the paper so I can have his first forged signature of mine framed.

My daughter has a Betta named "Turbo" as she is allergic to cats and dogs This "Current" "TURBO" is actually the 3rd.. we have hidden his death from her twice.. THAT'S NOT EASY

Hubbies hobby is TV & food. and wearing the fabric off a couch!

And I also want to know what me time is! I take the time to read, but it is in weird places (grocery line, stop lights, between swim classes). Don't have time or money for my hobbies, which are crocheting and taking pictures. Can't afford to develop them, and yes I still use a 35mm and film! Do have a digitalk, but hard to get the ones I like developed or even burned to disk (yeah T, I am still trying)

I'm with you. I Love to take pictures. Still love my old 35mm but real film is so hard to find now. I just acquired a Digital SLR that I love.. I just hated spending the money for it, but these little point and shoots .. well... are crap. I'd love to sit down and write music or go to the gym and work out... But there s precious me time. I want to see the Star Trek movie and we do have food & french fries in the Cinema Cafe here. Cheap movies, high price food, but good too!

Oh, and for the Virginia Limeys' there is a thread out ther for us Virginians. Allie and I found it, but wanted to let you others know!

Oh I'm sorry VaKatt -- being sick is yuggy. I hope everything turns out ok for you -- keep us in the loop for sure.

I am counting down the minutes till i get to see my chiropractor. I have put off the pain since before Christmas and now it is almost unbearable, the fact that now the lap top is hard to use is a rotten sign, i need to be able to keep up with my peeps! I'l let you all know if he can give me some relief actually you will know once my postings increase

Oh and Katt did I notice a new ticker??

Still plugging along. Have an Ultrasound and a cortisone shot tomorrow morning and a Rhumatologist appointment later this month. The shot will help me to "Feel Better"

And yes... a Small ticker for our Non Disney Vacation. Going to Tampa to see their Busch Gardens, Sea World, and Universal Studios. I am not excited to go yet.. have not begun to pack. Maybe when the shot kicks in I'll get excited.
I had a GREAT Chiropractor in Kentucky. He used the "Cure you or Kill You Method"... He was agressive.. and I needed that.
