Our room was so quiet! I am curious, was yours??

We're here now. Our room is overlooking the lawn for the hui and such. We've definitely been able hear that through all the closed doors. I honestly don't mind since it's not that long or late. Just means I turn up my baby's classical music up more so he sleeps. :)

We were on the 6th floor of Waianae tower overlooking the lazy river area. We were in an end room close to the elevators with a guest room on only one side. It was very quiet. We did hear the music from the Olelo room in the evenings but it stopped around 9-10 pm.

We were on the 11th floor. Right below us was the character meet and greet and the Oleo music in the evening outside... we could barely hear the music at night with the doors closed. We were surprised by the massive difference on door open versus door closed... those were some big sliding glass doors.

Last time we went we were on the 12th floor Ewa side facing the pools. It was a fantastic location and we really had no sound complaints. Like other posters we enjoyed the Olelo Room music with the sliding door open, then closed it and were able to sleep just fine with it closed. And actually most nights we left the slider open (with the screen shut and locked) all night so we could wake up to auntie singing in the morning at Makahiki.

Our first trips we had an outward facing room higher up on the Ewa side and that was great in terms of peace and quiet and privacy.

If you want QUIET I would request higher up and outward facing, and thank heavens for those amazing sliding doors.

We were on the 3rd floor right by the back side of Ulu cafe. Super quiet with doors closed, but lots of cast members walking by with carts to and from Ulu cafe when doors were opened. It wasn't too bad though. We did hear noise from what sounded like above us? It was hard to tell though. Sounded like slamming doors. It wasn't too disturbing and we were typically already awake when it started.
