Our Pre Trip Report

Hi all,

just thought we would add our pre trip report as it is now getting closer to our departure date.

When

Leaving London on 07 Sep 09 - 4 nights/5 days - returning 11 Sep 09.

Where
Staying at the Hotel New York.

Travel
Driving to London at OMG its early o clock. To catch Eurostar. Trying to drive to car park early so that we miss the congestion charge.

Her - Taz 34
She - Grace 7
He - William 4

Letting the cat out of the bag
Thanks to buttercup 1982 the kids recieved a postcard from Mickey and Minnie hoping to see them in the park soon. Took a while for them to figure it out, then asked how Mickey and Minnie knew we were going.

Previous trip
Stayed at Santa Fa May 07, looking forward to being closer to the park this time. Didnt tell the kids until we were on the train to London.

Monday - Cafe Mickey
Tuesday - Auburge De Cendrillion
Wednesday- Rendouvz De stars.
Thursday - Inventions
Friday - Walts

Rides
No big into rollercoasters, however I want to do the tower of terror, wife wants to do Space Mountain 2. Grace wants to ride on the Haunted House, William on Cars. All looking forward to Big Thunder Mountain...

Favourite rides from last time included Pirates of the Caribean.

Not sure if St Pancras is in the congestion zone, we are parking just south of London bridge. The route in takes us through the west edge of the congestion charge, but then the road along the thames and bridge over the river is just outside the zone.

We are planning at getting to the parking at around 7am so miss the charge anyway.

Last time wedrove in London we forgot to pay on the day, had to pay £60 for driving 15 minutes in the zone. Dont want to do that again.
