I loved this article. I envied Rich. The art work around the article was so great! I think that I have finally found someone who is more a. retentive about their trip planning than I am!

I am still enjoying the Kevin Bacon number thing. My DH and BIL and all of us have been laughing and figuring since we first saw the thread!

What a great article! I was fascinated by how all that goes into the touring plans can be of such great use in other aspects too! Truly some great groundbreaking there!

Now, I'm wondering why the field testers walk their "beat" all day... it's great exercise no doubt, but they could rent scooters if their feet are hurting couldn't they? Or are the walks from attraction to attraction calculated every single time too? T

Speaking of which, that's got to be a huge variable -- or is this discussed too and I missed it somewhere -- like are you supposed to be walking say, an avg of 4 mph from place to place or what speed is used to calculate this, I wonder? I know that the speed of which I walk the parks at what I consider a slow stroll is actually way too fast for my parents.

Would love to know about this part, now that my curiosity is acting up!
