How about 12/13-12/18 instead? I heard this awesome DIS'er (Eventer something or other) is going to CMC on her first night, 12/17. Supposedly she is pretty cool to hang out with and her son rocks the house too. I bet you could call her and confirm all this..I know I would give anything to hang out with her for a night!

Too bad about the rude CM at RnRc After waiting 40 minutes for the ride, it was too bad that the one interaction wrecked your enjoyment of one of the best Disney attractions. I am not sure I would want to be at MK for parade taping either. I think it is wise to try to change your plans. Good luck.
BTW, 1st stay at POP for us was wonderful. You had posted on my resort thread question, thanks for the . We loved this resort. 50's bldg, and we could see Epcot and DHS(special event party) fireworks from our bldg. Had a view of pool and lake which was nice too. We will plan another stay there!

Some people do multiple trips on one TR? Who in the world would do that??? By the way, we will be starting out brand spankin' new on the summer trip, although we're undecided on the title at this point.

I hope everything works out well for the trip. Hopefully, you can get it all settled in time to be sitting at the phone ready to snag those ADRs Sunday morning.

i think we're settled on our plans for december. i'm sure they'll change between now and then - they always do. but we've come up with a touring plan and officially changed our dates. the only thing i'm worried about is we're doing epcot on a friday and there's EMH that night. but i had to choose between that and DHS that day and mousefest is having a gathering at DHS that night. i think i'd much rather deal with bigger crowds at epcot, which can handle more crowds, then a huge crowd at fantasmic, ya know? besides, i'm pretty sure we'll be done riding stuff at epcot by lunch time.

Love your TR! I especially loved all the Beauty and the Beast pics - made me want to see the movie again so my girls and I just got back from checking it out at the library.

I also liked hearing about your late morning and lunch at DtD. I am planning on going there for a little shopping and lunch at Earl of Sandwich on our September trip.

Can't wait to see and read more.

i just love B&B! when i'm cleaning house i either put that or aladdin in and turn it up so i can dance around while i'm cleaning! i hope you enjoy earl of sandwich...we did!

Happy to hear your new dates might work out. Can you imagine being in DHS with a bishillion cheerleaders running around? "ready? O.K."
My DD8 just started doing competetive cheer, but our squad is in no way like some of those I've seen at competitions.

i know! pop warner is going to DHS on 12/10 and that's the night we arrive, but we won't be getting in until VERY LATE (like 1:00 a.m.) so that won't conflict at all.

she IS very cool and her son's definitely a rock star!!!! i wish i could work it out where we could see her, but unfortunately our travelmates just don't have a clue exactly how cool she is and therefore we can't change their dates. darn it to heck!!!!

i've only rode RnRC twice. the first time was in may 2007 and i just don't remember much about it i think because it was my first day back at WDW in 15 years and i was just overwhelmed. then when we went in september 2007 it was closed. then this time i only have memories of that rude CM. i want to ride it again and enjoy myself!!!!!!

glad you liked pop!!! did you guys get frozen cokes? that was my favorite part! i loved SSR but it was a bummer we didn't have frozen cokes this time. we're going back there in september and i can't wait!

yeah, i heard about the osborne lights. i think you may even be on the "waiting" thread i was on. it doesn't affect our trip, but i feel so sorry for the people who won't get to see them. it really stinks. i'm thinking it may make some people reschedule, which in turn will make the week we're there busier. i'm sure you guys will still have a blast on your trip though!

well, i just wasted about an hour on disneyshopping.com looking at the clearance items. here's what i got......all for $4.99 each!!!!! except the tank - that was $14.99 but it's cute so i figured why not.

Good luck on all of your ADR's. We're trying to decide if we want to do the CP now or not. We've already got a Garden Grill ADR. The morning the Candlelight reservations are rumored to be opening, June 28th, we'll kind of be in the air flying over your house. Plus, it does cost extra for the CP meal, so we may just eat at Garden Grill and try to listen to some of CP from the back. We have only two nights to do that and see the Osborne Lights, since they don't start until Friday. We have to come home on Sunday. I'm sure it will be super packed now, with the shortening of the nights the lights are on. Last year, we saw them the weekend before Thanksgiving, and it was very crowded. When we went back in December during Christmas break, it was less crowded, actually.

i have no advice for the CP since i've never seen it. ask erica - she said it was good but that she probably wouldn't do it again, that it was too long. LOTS of people are ticked off about the o-lights starting on 11/28. that has thrown a wrench in a lot of people's plans - i feel so bad for them!

can you believe it? day 3!!!!!

this was our non-park day. after sleeping in, i again made coffee and enjoyed it along with some breakfast on our porch. around 9:00 i decided to throw on some clothes and take a walk around the resort while ray slept. i grabbed my camera and off i went!

just so you know, this installment is going to be mainly pictures of SSR. hope you enjoy!

i walked out our back door, into the courtyard area and down the sidewalk towards the quiet pool in congress park. there was no one there (like i said, it was shortly after 9:00) and so i just started snapping.

the jacuzzi at the quiet pool.....

there were magnolia trees everywhere! the magnolia is one of my favorite flowers and you could just smell them in the air!
