i'm watching my FAVORITE show (yes, even moreso than american idol), so you think you can dance. it's the first "real" show of the season (as in not the tryouts) and i'm just LOVING it! i don't watch much TV and i just really get into this show. anyway, so far my favorite couples are kherington & twitch and katie & joshua, with jessica & will coming in a close second. if anyone else watches the show, feel free to share your opinions.......i love discussing it!

Hey Dawn another great tr update! I have to admit myself that i have been to WDW 4 times in the past 3 years and my last trip we encountered 3 very rude CMs ourselves...maybe it was the heat! so I dont know what the RNR CM deal was its airconditioned in there! very nice letter and its comforting to know you received a response so soon!
she was bossy anyway. i remember as we were getting on the coaster that same CM telling another CM that was asking how many to every party to watch his single rider line and she said it in a very demanding voice. maybe she was just having a bad day. oh, well.......not my problem. all i know is she made me mad! i don't think a freezer full of air conditioning would've made a difference.
Sorry to hear about your rude CM. It's good that Ray was quiet. My DH probably wouldn't have been so. I love him, but sometimes he lets his short fuse fly and then I want to crawl into a hole. I'm glad that you spoke up. Sometimes we, as customers, need to speak our mind and call them on the carpet. There was no need for that response to your having your camera out.
And the guy with the flipflop? You're in a HUGE crowd! What do you expect?

i guess people just get irritable. i just can't imagine reacting that way to someone hitting my heel and apologizing. chill out! and you and your DH are just the opposite of me and ray - i'm the firecracker and he never says much. if he does say anything you know you've REALLY made him mad!

I am so glad you spoke up Dawn! She has no business even working in Disney with an attitude like that. Does she realize how much we pay to vacation there?! I'm angry on your behalf. Please let us know how the follow up goes with this, will ya? Have you blown up that first photopass birthday photo? Maybe poster size for your bedroom wall or something?

What a ruuuuuude CM! There was no need for anything like that.
We've never done fantasmic...but now I want to.
oh, you have to do fantasmic!!! if you go during a slow time of year, you don't have to get there an hour early like you do during the busier times. 30 minutes is plenty of time if you go during the slower times. it's so good! and the finale is worth the wait for the show by itself.
It's funny you got yourself on tape yelling back! I can't deal with stuff like that I;d have gone back and got her name and got her in trouble! It really does stick with you when you get a rude CM!!!!
i'm glad ray talked me out of finding someone "official" to tell. it would've ruined our night and i'm sure we would've missed fantasmic since that's the next thing we did. i'm not wanting her to get fired, but she definitely needs to be put in another position where maybe she's not working with people so much or get a stern lecture at the very least!

i HATE rude CMs!!! our trip in Dec. was great as far as that went, but last June it was nasty..i blamed the heat!
OH and i hear you about how some people look at you sideways when you even mention having just one child..i take great offense at that since i am an only child myself...i really think that is one area people should mind their business about!

i think everyone has their own opinions about having kids and it's like religion and politics - don't argue about it because you're never gonna win! just keep your opinions to yourself unless you're asked, ya know? some people feel the need to tell you what they think anyway.

I've been faithfully reading along. I only wish I had thought to take a picture of the two of you in Mama Melrose! Other than the photopass pictures, there are always very few photos with both people in them.

The rest of our trip was wonderful. We kinda followed one of the UG plans and it worked well. We strayed from it a few times and hopped when it said we shouldn't, but overall not many long waits. As always there was an exception --- Peter Pan's Flight. Good grief. It seemed like we were in that line forever! I'm not really sure why we didn't use fastpass for that.
every time we checked peter pan it was a long wait. so we held out until our last day when we did rope drop and that was one of the first things we rode that morning to beat the line!
I thought it was funny that you commented about the fact that I might have seen you taking pictures of your food. We tried to take pictures of our food all along (got the idea from everyone here) and got strange looks from lots of people. It was fun and a great way to remember everything. Favorite place to eat -- for me -- was Kona. That was SO good.
i always get weird looks when i take food pictures......either that or people laugh at me. but i don't care - i'm never gonna see those people again!
oh, i love kona, too! after the meal last time, it's right up there with narcoosee's for us. last year narcoosee's was our favorite but this year it's a tie! we're going back to kona in december for sure. what did you eat there?

). So, I'm in the Atlanta area often AND my best friend lived in Athens for a few years (her parents still do). Just proving it really is a Small World. Also, he corrected me about what I said when I thought I saw you and Ray in Mama Melrose. I actually said, "I think that's punkin!". He thought that was funny!
that's funny! you could've called me punkin and i would've answered - my mom's entire family calls me that! my uncle called me that when i was a kid and it just stuck.

What is wrong with people? Sheesh. I hate running into rude people at amusement parks. It can really dampen the fun when it happens and it's soooo hard for me to get past. Luckily my DH is the opposite
