Yes, you are a PERFECT example of "you have to watch out for the quiet ones" Let me tell anyone who may be reading this that our dear Louise here is NOT quiet at all..She is full of excitement and adventure, she just has to get to know you well enough to let loose...and ummm..OMG I just thought of a story she told us about an incident on a cruise ship but I am sworn to silence Ahhhh...part of what happens on our road trippees has to stay on our road trippees so......

Oh yes....the ToT adventure.....(sorry I got sidetracked in all the Thelma and Louise memories....)

So anyway.....there Carrie and I are on the ToT, the doors had shut and we were on our way down for the last time...(the elevator was on its way down..perhaps I should rephrase this) anyhoo.....The elevator comes up to the ground level and we hear that famous "beep" which when I am with Genesis is immediately followed by "Brownies are done" However..whats this....the elevator has stopped, it is NOT going up to the door....for a brief minute there is a moment of silence, then some nervous laughter, then the lights go out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have a brief claustrphobic moment in the darkness and then reality hits me that we are in a room not an elevator.... After what seemed like an eternity amongst moments of more nervous giggles from all onboard the light comes back on...We can see skinny fingers trying to pry apart the elevator doors to come rescue us from our plight (well we can use our imagination and pretend we are really stuck on an elevator) but they have no luck....

we hear a door opening and along comes our friendly elevator mechanic looking quite confused..

he manages to turn our elevator around and we see to our amazement another car stuck in front of us....

MARCO.......... can we get a POLO???
MARCO???????The POLO comes from those within our own car. By now we have came to the conclusion that everyone in the other car must have died from fright because there is not a peep to be heard from them...
The elevator mechanic brings a set of steps to our car after what seemed like an eternity(Carrie can post the pic of the steps as there were some things I just didnt get pics of as most of this trip I was howling with laughter )

This whole broken down elevator ride was just the spark we needed, we felt like we had been given the Keys to The Kingdom...Carrie can also post pics of us following the bellhop down the back corridor to get out of the HTH... Do you think this little mishap scared us off of the ToT?????? Heck NO!!! We rode it about 5 more times I think, just hoping it would break down again and we enjoyed the fear on the faces of others when we told them of our escapades of the broken down ToT elevator ride.......insert twilight zone music here

So we decide on a lunchdate at Famous Daves at Potomac Mills. (Now keep in mind that previously there had been a Baltimore Dismeet and was it coincidence or what that an "awning" happened to fall off of a roof and damage MouseCops Car with T being right there, and if you read my Boston trippee you realize she rode in my car to Boston and it was vandalized....Well, this is how rumors get started ......

(and while I am thinking and gathering pics of what it looks like when you are stuck on the ToT, I decided to read back thru the report....and I think there is one disclaimer that MUST be made... )
It appears when you look at this trip report and the pictures as well that maybe Carrie has a bad drinking habit I just need to clarify that although it seems in the airport, during lunch, during dinner, even while dancing she always had a drink in her hand it was more of an illusion than anything else. I know her reports on her other trips all say drinking, drinking, drinking...but she truly is not a lush

I just hope you do understand and realize how much mischief I have been known to get into with this type of thought process... As you may recall my friend LInda and I had a timeshare when we used to do all our mischief making before we sold it last year....and umm....the time share was the one time a year I would make my special Purple Passion with Everclear But no everclear this time....not with younguns around...(once when I was little I got into my brothers fridge thinking it was grape drink.... so I always think of this when kids are around) Anyhoo....I need to finish up this trippee so we can start on Part 2 Friday.............

Ok...so Ms Mischief and I were last seen stuck in The Twilight Zone.....
We spent that evening once again at AC Club....where once again we ran into the local Todd... ( I think he was a permanent fixture there just as much as the cast was)

Its very possible that there MAY have been much more of this....

but by then I was feeling like quite the lush and decided not to take anymore pictures of anything liquid we may have been consuming
because by then we were looking like this....

At some point in time we somehow ended up back at POP...with none of us getting lost on lounge chairs by the pool.....

The next morning as I recall we were a bit later getting our butts in gear.... still not certain why...it surely had nothing to do with the amt of we were doing.............

During our day we took the time to go visit PenQs relatives, who all said to tell him hello and that they were happy to hear of his safe return....

They were hanging out with Mary Poppins, who told me to tell Teresa hello....(as you may recall we saw her on I95 in the convertible during our July Road Trip to Boston... (If you read that part of the trippee you saw that even if you didnt understadn it )

I told her she looked much more comfortable in the front seat of the convertible than she looked here....She said that was because SHE was on vacation at that time...and actually seemed quite appalled when I asked her why in the world did she have her umbrella with her on vacation in the front seat of the mustang and up at that....She explained it was due to her fair complexion and her road trip partner refused to put the top up on the car....

ANYHOO.....on to MK...

I wanted to stop and give these poor fellas some water but Carrie wouldnt let me get out of the boat...

If you check out her myspace you will see that she took the dog from the POC ride home with her....BAD CARRIE...

Our adventures continued in the MK....Of course we went on to see our favorite character...STITCH!!!!!!!! but I will let Carrie post the pics of Stitch....You will hear me say this repeatedly because it is my favorite part of Stitchs Great Escape..."Cinderella, your Prince is here..." "You're not my Prince!!!!!!!!!!" In fact I think that will be the title of my Trippee Report when G and I go Oct 30-Nov 2 so be on the lookout for that one as well...

Believe it or not, in all these years of going to WDW I had never been over to Tom Sawyers Island..(sometimes Genesis is just not very much fun as he gets stuck in the rut of just the exciting rides and that is all)

Ireally enjoyed sitting in these rocking chairs and just taking in the sights, smells, and sounds of Disney ..There was this great breeze blowing and I really never wanted to leave that front porch..I wish I could have just stayed a permanent fixture on Tom Sawyers Island....

Then on to Splash Mountain, where surprisingly we didnt get very wet...

The Haunted Mansion was calling our names....They had room for one more.....

We enjoyed the remainder of our time at the Park , even taking the time to do some shopping...

We had dinner at The Crystal Palace ...

I will leave it up to Ms Carrie to post more pics The rest of the trippee report is all about ME... well it just means I was solo as Carrie had to go back to CT.... I am certain I have some of the timeline mixed up but the story is still the same

So...Carrie had to leave to go home on Monday...I was sad...but I went back to MK which is always my happy place....

I walked down Main St just enjoying the beautiful view that always brings tears to my eyes because it was always such a dream of mine as a child...I thanked God for the blessing of not only being able to realize that dream by going to WDW once, but to be blessed by being able to go as often as I do go..which is normally 6 times a year!

When I look at the pictures I am still in awe every time that this place holds so much magic for me still....Its the one place in the world where I still "believe in magic" and have hope.... I cannot imagine a world without Disney in it.... (so enough of me being sentimental...sorry)
I walked into the Main St Bakery and had that huge Cinnamon Roll and a cup of Coffee for BF....mmmmmm but no I didnt take a picture of it...sorry...
Then on to Adventureland and Frontierland...

I rode TMR which I didnt ride with Carrie...and thought about the ride in May with the rest of the May Group and John shouting for Lyndsey
I went on the Jungle Cruise and had the most boring Cruise I have ever had with this guy....sorry but he really sucked....

I went into the Tiki Room which is not something I do every vacation so when I do, its not as boring as it would be if I went every trip No pics sorry.
I decided to go in the Robinsons Tree House which is another one fo those things I had never did because Genesis didnt want to.....(he has no sense of Adventure in some areas people )
I actually enjoyed this experience and was able to catch some pretty good views from there.

I truly enjoyed this and would recommend if you have not went up in there...

More of MK....I spent the remainder of my afternoon in MK...people watching and enjoying the sights and just taking it all in so I could have wonderful memories....

I had never been on Its a Small World for obvious reasons so I chose to try it out for the first time and really wasnt annoyed with it at all....

By now it was getting late and I was ready for dinner at Mamma Rosas so I had to say goodbye to the castle for the day....

After enjoying a wonderful dinner of grilled shrimp and pasta...and a slice of yummy cheesecake for dessert (I need to remember to take pics of my food..lol)I went back to PoP to freshen up and go to DTD again....
