~Our March 'Just Engaged',freezing,and full of surprises trip~Updated 6/23 p.76

Great update! I'm so sad it is your last day! :guilty: Glad you enjoyed your train ride and BTMRR. I enjoy both of those. Cool that you had the whole section to yourselves on the train. We were packed like sardines on that thing the last time that I rode that. (and the time before that..and the time before THAT)

SUCH a cute picture!!

Ya know, of all the years I've been going to WDW and riding Space Mountain, I don't think I've EVER been on the left side! Isn't that odd?! :confused3

Yay! Awesome update! :thumbsup2 I love that picture of you two. You guys are too cute! You will make a perfect bride and groom! :goodvibes

I have never tried the package pickup service but I think I will my next trip! I usually save all my shopping for the end of the day, but apparently so does everyone else because the stores are packed! If I use that service I can shop throughout the day! :)

I know what you mean about everyone waving at WDW. I love that too! I am from NC and we are all country folk down here so everyone waves at everyone. Whenever I am with my family from the North they are always like, "why are you waving at everybody?"

When we made our way through the BTMRR line, I was so excited to be riding again. I was quickly reminded of the GROSS experience we had in line back in June..for those of you who read that TR might remember it. :crazy2: Someone ahead of us puked in line and we all had to walk around it to continue. It was horrible.
 My dad and I had a pretty horrible experience with puke a few years ago. We were waiting on the ramp at the MK monorail station when all of a sudden a kid puked and it started trickling down the ramp. It was GROSS. And I'm pretty sure the kid had just downed a bottle of blue Powerade or something, because it was not a natural color. I'm surprised I didn't pass out. Especially when you consider that we were waiting for the monorail because I felt sick and wanted to head back to the Poly and take a nap. It was not a fun experience. And now every time I go up that ramp I'm reminded of that moment. Bleh.

Anyway, I apologize for the gross story. For whatever reason I really felt the need to share. :rotfl:

hey girl! Great update! LOL...that's so funny you were secretly jealous of those people getting FP's...so cute! I know seriously...how could people NOT know about FP?!?!? I still can't understand that. I love the looks that people give you in the standby line when you're breezing past them. LOL! Too funny! Awww, cute pic of you two on the railroad! So romantic that you had the section all to yourselves! Wow!! That's what you call crowded!! Glad you folks got there early! I think those are wonderful reasons to take lots of pics!! I'm glad you were able to send your ALBUMS to package pick up! Isn't that such a great idea?! Can't wait for the next update!!

The Emporium at closing time is horrible!!! ::yes::

tinkgurl - nice pictures. I like the one where you have the front train section all to yourselves. It's always nice to have pictures that are not filled with random people in the background. :)

Thanks! I am sad too, haha.

It was cool we had the whole section to ourselves! Yeah, it usually is packed during the summer.

SUCH a cute picture!!

Ugh, shopping in the Emporium at the end of the day is a mess! I definitely recommend using the package pickup.

Okay, glad you understand the whole waving thing! haha

Thanks! lol I know I shouldn't be jealous, but I was!

People giving looks in the stand-by line are hilarious.

We are definitely used to the summer crowds so we weren't surprised at the crowd!

The package pickup thing is such a great idea for sure!

It is nice to have pics of just us! :)

Wow you went from one end of the park to the other and back again.!

Kudos on getting 2 mountains done is such a short amount of time. We missed Space Mountain in the summer too, but hit it in Feb. I found it to be very jerky and only did it once this past trip. I think I'm getting old, it gave me a bad headache.

We love the train too. It's such a great way to relax and just look.

I wish I could make myself shop earlier in the day. We usually end up doing it at the end and being in the huge crowd of last minute shoppers.

Looking forward to your meal at the Wave.

I loved the picture of you and fiance on the train, thats prob my favorite so far! I also like how there is no one else on the train! I have never tried tony's but my moms friends is a huge fan of disney and she loves that place too, maybe i'll try it this next trip!

Aww cute pic of you and your fiance on the railroad!

Haha I love waving hi to people when at WDW, too. That would never work here in NY, people would just look at you funny

We walked up to Space and showed the CM our FP’s. As we were walking through the line, we kept hearing people comment about how we were getting to walk right past them and why we were getting special privileges. I swear some people have no clue about FP’s! How could you not know about them?! :confused3

i don't get this either! we were in line at EE once and the dad in line behind us was telling his kids something about how he didn't want to pay extra to get the fastpass thing. for real???????

What a CUTE PIC of you and your FI :goodvibes I just love train rides AND shopping on Main Street. What a relaxing day :lovestruc

Haha, yeah we did! We are crazy like that!

It was awesome getting in 2 of the MK mountains that close together!

The train is definitely great for relaxing.

Haha, isn't it funny how things are so different in different parts of the U.S.?!

Aw thanks!

It was such a great last day...can't wait to tell about it more!

You are exactly right! And usually by that time everyone is exhausted and crabby. That is definitely an experience I wouldn't mind avoiding in the future! ::yes::

Well I hope you're able to try doing something different to avoid the crabby-ness.

HI TG!!!!

Gosh I feel awful I didn't get over here earlier today! It's been nutso here trying to get our shipping logistics worked out- ALL DAY!! Plus we had a team meeting. I'm pooped!

Anyway... I will try to log back on later tonigh, after our property agent comes and goes, dinner is out of the way, and the kids are tucked in. Phew!! I'm tired just thinking about it!

It sounds like you are getting a lot done on your last day! I love that pic of the two of you on the train as well. It's not often that you can get a shot without other people in the picture.

I also found SM to be pretty bumpy. But then again, I don't recall ever thinking it was a smooth ride either. :rotfl: I thought the refurb might have made it smoother. oh well.

Hope you feel better soon!

Love the pic of you two on the train...so cute! I can't remember if I've been on both sides of Space Mtn. I've been on it so many times!!! Isn't it crazy how people don't know about FP?! It's mentioned in all of the park maps. Oh well...more FP's for me! :goodvibes

We had such a great day. :)

I love that pic of us on the train too. Going in the summer, it's rare to get a pic of just us!

As for Space, the right side is definitely smoother now after the refurb!

And thanks! I hope my medicine starts kicking in soon! The little guy goes to the doctor today...I'm hoping he does well when the dr. has to do the swab. :upsidedow

I just can't believe they don't know about it. I mean, how hard is it not to notice it?! And like you said, it's mentioned in all the park maps! You're right...oh well! More FP's for us! :yay:

Isn't a spin the train a relaxing way to spend a half an hour?? Love it!

I'm one of those who likes to wave at people too. keeps the magic in the trip!

Rebels?? Surely not you two! :lmao:
