Thursday, 11/29, Day 7:
We didn’t bother setting the alarm this day! We slept in until about 8:30 and had breakfast in the room. We then headed over to MK late morning. We had planned to go early and then break in the afternoon, but we decided to just take it easy in the morning instead. We went to all of the attractions that we had missed on Sunday, had lunch at Pecos Bill’s and DDs and I watched the 3:00 parade again while DH and DS went on BTMRR.

We headed over to Crystal Palace at 5:00pm, hoping to meet a few DISers before our meal. Unfortunately, we didn’t see anyone – we were all in the restaurant at the same time, but didn’t cross paths. Our PS at CP was for 5:15pm and we were seated almost immediately. They took our MVMCP tickets at dinner and gave us wristbands. We finished dinner around 6:45 and headed outside – only to find tons of people already coming into the park. So, we didn’t get a head start at all.

We ran from show to show during MVMCP – catching all of them except Wild Wild West – which really isn’t our kind of show. We found a spot right in front of the castle for the 9:15 fireworks and 9:30 show. It turned out that we were actually too close to the castle to be able to see the fireworks, but had a great view for the show. After the show, we met Perdita & Pongo who were sitting nearby. They noticed my green ribbon, so I told them about our DIS meet later in front of Tony’s.

After talking with them, we headed back down main street to get a spot for the late parade. We sat down right in front of Tony’s restaurant and found Cdoobee and Cdoobee Junior. Shortly after we started talking, dcedwards, princess angel, and Perdita & Pongo walked up. I have one question – where was everybody else who signed up??? Anyway, we all had a nice chat and then enjoyed the parade.

We finally headed over to tomorrowland to have our family photo taken. The lines were much shorter then, but our youngest had already fallen asleep. DH and the girls were exhausted so they headed back to CR. DS and I were still going strong so we did a few rides, got an ice cream at the corner shop, and finally got back to CR around 12:30am.

Hi Beth,

I bet we were only steps away from each other during the fireworks. We were also too close to see the overhead spectacle, but had a great view of the 9:30 show. We were one of those who never made it to Tony's to meet you. After the 9:30 show, the kids wanted to catch a few more rides, so we were well into Frontierland where we watched the late parade. This was our first MVMCP and I was so glad the crowds were not overwhelming.

Sounds like a lot of fun, thanks for posting. :)

Glad you got to sleep-in a bit! A leisurely morning is always nice every once in a while. :p
