Our Magical WDW Adventure ~ 23 Days of Fun, Food, Cocktails... London Trip 2/8

OMG Greece looks AMAZINGGGGG! I have seen Mama Mia and it is so beautiful in the movie as well. I like your favorite American foods update! I don't actually like alot of the food you mentioned lol but what a cute idea! I do love me so fajitas from Chili's though, good choice!

I have the Disney resort cookbook and I know there is a thread or two around here w/ recipes as well!

I tried to make Tonga Toast once and it didn't come out very good - not sure what I did wrong, but I guess since I'm not much of a french toast maker, that probably had something to do with it!

Very strange - the kids and I went to Chilli's last night for dinner - I had chicken fajitas!

We had a 'Disney food & movie night' the other day - I made sweet & sour chicken, pepper steak, stir fry veggies, sticky rice and egg rolls and we watched Mulan!

Chili's fajita's are so good, I am quite sad we wont be visiting there this year :sad1:.

Yes I have seen some of the recipes, but we may have to get the cookbook when we go, add a bit more Disney to our daily lives ;). I have never made french toast either but think Nick could do it, hes a pretty good cook. And what a coincidence about the fajita's :confused3

Your movie night sounds great, and the food really yummy. I love Chinese.

Thanks hun. Sounds like you had a great time skiing, I am jealous you get to go lots. You should definitely try Whistler and take lots of pictures for me so I can see what it looks like :goodvibes

I am so jealous you went to Croatia, sounds like it was great. And the sea-kayaking sounds like lots of fun. Where else did you go on your honeymoon?

I that is a good argument for going...so I can take pictures for you!!! I will be sure to try that one out tonight for DH. :lmao:

For our honeymoon, we started in Rome for a few days. I went to school there for a year and wanted to go back to show DH where I lived and what I did. We spent 2.5 days there and then boarded a cruise outside of Rome and went to Naples (but went to Pompeii and Sorrento), Croatia, Venice, Sicily (the Motherland for me), Monaco (and we went to Eze, France for part of that day), and then Cinque Terre, Italy before heading back to Rome and then finally Chicago.

It was a GREAT trip and a wonderful way to see parts of Europe that I never would think to go. We probably never would have wanted to go to Croatia but it was one of our favorite stops on the whole trip!:beach:

I'm loving these lists, the pictures are all so gorgeous!

Don't You Just Love the Postman...
... When He Brings You Disney Post

Most days when the post comes it just contains boring things like bills and bank statements, nothing of any interest. However occasionally the postman (actually woman most days), brings something exciting, something to do with holidays or Disney. I love these days . Today the post caught me by surprise, as I wasn't expecting anything, I hadn't ordered anything and it wasn't time for any tickets yet. However Attraction Tickets Direct decided to send me a nice new brochure all about the Orlando attractions, the various tickets you can get and the prices. Now I have something new to read for today, wahoo :cheer2:

You definitely should use that excuse, I think its valid :lmao:

Your honeymoon sounds great, sounds like you have visited some lovely places. I have only been to Italy briefly but Nick used to go every year, mostly to Lake Garda. He absolutely loves it there and hopefully we will visit there soon so he can show me how beautiful it is.

I missed the Greece post, beautiful pictures! Someday I hope to go! I might not come home! :thumbsup2
The new destination.... I have no idea. :confused3 Looks interesting!

Type of holiday ~ Discovering Dubai
When Nick and I went to Thailand they showed us some tourist video's on the plane of various places around the UAE, and we were surprised how beautiful they were. They instantly made us want to go there, Dubai being the top of the list. And we have since seen travel programmes based there, it looks so interesting and so luxurious. There is so much to do there from shopping in the posh boutiques, relaxing on the beautiful beaches, exploring the islands, going dune driving and riding on camels, experiencing the culture, snorkeling, or spending a few hours in one of the spa's. Oh and then there is the new Atlantis Resort, which like the one in the Bahama's, looks amazing. It all sounds great to me, a perfect combination of lots to do and relaxing time on the beach with a nice, but probably very expensive, cocktail

Type of holiday ~ Relaxing in Bora Bora

This one was a toss up between the Maldives and Bora Bora as both look amazingly beautiful. For years I have been looking at the beautiful water bungalows and imagining waking up to the view of the gorgeous turquoise waters, spending the day lying on the beach, snorkeling in the sea teaming with tropical fish and turtles, sipping a cocktail whilst rocking gently in a swinging hammock, and then falling asleep at the end of the day listening to the waves gently lapping against the bungalows. Both offer stunning beaches, resorts, a great mix of sun, sand and pure relaxation. However, I have always loved the sound of the Polynesian islands, their beauty and culture, the dancing, the food, and thats why we choose Bora Bora. I just hope we get there soon as after all the planning and non-stop action of Disney we could do with some pure relaxing

I was just now, at this exact second, telling my mom how much I'd love to go to Bora Bora! I'm watching Ellen and she was stalking about her trip and showing pictures... what are the odds of that?! Too funny! French Polynesia has always been one of my dream trips, with stays in Bora Bora, Tahiti and Moorea. Gorgeous!

How weird is that :confused3. I would love to go to Tahiti too, don't really know anything about Moorea but I am guessing its gorgeous too. The Maldives look great but the Polynesian islands look more interesting and cultural. The water bungalows look so amazing, especially the ones with glass floors and private pools :cloud9:
