We strolled over to the Disneyland Park from the village after a quick stop to purchase a Mickey for Jess and a Thumper for Hannah. We (the girls) had to use the time efficiently :rotfl: as the Daddies were still finishing their litre beers at King Ludwigs.
The kiosks in the centre were deserted and we actually had to go to left luggage to buy our passes. I got mine (fantasy passes plus shareholders discount at 109€ each) with no problem but Jenny encountered a few problems trying to use the sponsor forms we had from a friend I think we should have just bought 1 day passes at the kiosk and then upgraded at the Annual passport office. We told them we were going to upgrade later so they tried to be helpful and sell them then and there but they weren’t used the sponsor form. So instead of the 10% we were expecting the CM put Jenny’s passports through with my 15% discount too !! -Great result .In the park we went off to get our temporary passes changed to the real ‘posh’ ones with our not so posh photos ;) before going on our first ride of the trip which we had allowed Jessica to pick .

Hannah’s reaction to her first journey was similar to Jessica’s the year before and almost had me crying again. There is something about being a Mum that makes you teary ! Jess loved every minute and wanted to go on again but we persuaded her to ‘show’ Hannah her other faves ! so we went off to the Carousel followed by Snow White . I’d forgotten how like a ghost train :worried: Snow White was and we had chosen that over Pinocchio as Jessica still remembered being scared of the whale at the end from last year. We were disappointed that Casey Junior and the Storybook cruise were closed (and remained so for the whole time even though they were not scheduled to be closed :sad2: )
Daddy then decided it was his turn to pick and we went off to find out if Autopia was open as it had been closed during the whole of our last visit. It was, so we queued for our first time so far ( I was astounded at the number of single adults riding – especially males ! :confused3 )and set off in 4 cars (girls and their Mum’s and Dad’s on their own – see what I mean !) around the track. Thankfully we got a pink car , averting a mini-tantrum from my now tired daughter :furious: .
As the girls were now showing the strain of their early rise we headed out of the park. We weren’t hungry enough for a big meal so had a snack outside Billy Bob’s before heading back to the Marriot for a well deserved soak in the big tub and bed !

Next The Birthday bash

Was it cold you look like you are being blown away.
Thanks for sharing you trip with us. I would also agree with the not buying Ap's in the entrance we were there for ages.

It was windy . But not as cold as we are used to here in Scotland :rotfl:

Enjoy reading! :surfweb: IASW is a great ride to start the trip with. princess:

Not sure we'll ever be able to go on Snow White again after being stuck on it for half an hour this summer!
