How did you and BFF like POFQ?? I'm getting scared by the scratchy / uncomfortable bed complaints on the POFQ thread! I need a comfy bed!

No worries Marie! I found POFQ to be wonderful in every way. Very clean, friendly CM's everywhere. The sheets were not scratchy to me. And as I commented on the POFQ thread, I typically sleep on 600+ thread count Egyptian cotton at home....the sheets at POFQ were fine to me. Not the same, but fine. I jut didn't like the pillows...small and hard.

Other than waking up freezing every night, I slept just fine.

I agree, I think, due to all our RC'ing that caused more work for CM's we should all be punished with being grounded in the Cinderella Castle.

We were there in March 2011. No bed problems with us. Like Candace the pillows were a little on the plumper side. I was there with my sis and we loved the resort.

Well, I made a change or two today...first I changed ASMu to Sports (for DH and DS12)...then I got a promo code from Orbitz....SO I looked again at availability...AND WL WV popped up.....so while we are at Poly...DH won't be too far away anymore

Marie, we stayed there for 10 nights last January. Sheets and beds were fine!!

Yup, AKL CL!

My kids won't stop asking for WL...but we can't repeat...so they said how about AKL an they can still have bunk beds.

DH and I were happy, because it saves about $600 (which doesn't suck given this govt crap).

As much as I love the Epcot area, I knew I wouldnt end up at BWI with



AKL provides all of theme that we were missing at YC.

We loved AKL CL! The lounge food is great. They even have afternoon tea with scones, jam & clotted cream

Wow!! What was the nightly rate on orbitz? I've never booked a wdw vacay with them. Either I book or I go with a specialized wdw TA.

Well, the girls are completely sold on AKL. They loved the bunk beds at WL and are excited about possibly getting them again. And DH and I like the bunk bed because otherwise we end up sleeping apart all vacation....one of us with one kid, one with the other...

I think AKL is our only viable option....

It ended up being 197/nt...I had Orbucks (or whatever they call their rewards dollars) it was 30% off (the WDW discount) plus a promo code of another 15% off SAVEBETTER15 They also had CSR at 144/nt and POFQ at 150/nt...but it's WL

They won't sleep in the daybed, not quite as cool as the bunk beds I guess.

We had a daybed at YC, which went very much unused, except to drape our clothes over.

Too funny. My 3 girls all squish on one queen We never let them sleep together at home, they won't sleep Perhaps GF will be refurrbed.....just sayin...I think that's why I won't change Poly....I want to stay there before the changes...like they did to GF

DD9 is like....dead-set against the GF. I don't get it. That used to be her dream resort. I asked her why, and she said because when we went there to visit she thought it was too fancy... (she is my little tomboy though, much like momma)
