Just wanted to pop in and say hello while all my guys are still asleep. We were supposed to have been at the MK today, but changed our day of rest from Friday to today. Epcot kicked our rears yesterday. As soon as I can get the guys up, we're going to eat lunch at The Mara and then play in the pool for a few hours.

Oh and I almost forgot. We were up on the observation deck looking at the manatees talking to the CM standing on the deck behind the water, when another CM came up and asked my DH a question. She took us backstage and we got a tour of the manatee backstage care area. It was so COOL!!

Jeanette You said "Universal" with my lastest urge to change resorts I thought PBR but my 40% off pin had to be booked by 8/28 when I looked

My 2006 was 4 days too but did visit EP, AK, MK long Weekend with a FL friend

Oh I hope DS 12 gets his act together so he can go. Age 11-13/14 were tough ones with both my boys.

OMG how scary, I am SO glad you woke up I have heard of issues in hospitals with similar occurences..CPAP not plugged to emergency power..patient dies SCARY!!!

So DS4 and I were looking at WL pics, and he yells NO WILDERNESS LODGE, I WANT GRAND FLORIDIAN OR POLYNESIAN....I do not know where he gets it from...so since I listen to my children...I am switching to the Poly

Jumping in! I hope you all dont mind... I have been reading for awhile and havent booked our 2014 trip yet BUT I cant decide where to stay! We are a family of 5, me Erin 31 and my DH followed by my 13yo, 9yo and 5yo DD's(my 13yo wont be joining us on this trip as she says she cant stand Disney.... this CAN NOT be my child!) any way, we love POR but i keep leaning towards trying a deluxe like WL or AKL. I know I have lots of time to decide..... or change

Erin!!! We LOVE new peeps here!! My family loves the "dark side" AKA Universal..which has keep me away from WDW on more than one occasion. Your DD13 is not even coming? That stinks, it must make it hard for you as a momma. My DH was saying how we show not do Disney next summer as planned, and my Universal loving kids were like NO we WANT to go to Disneyworld..I was SO relieved!!

I told ds that perhaps he and dh can hit up Universal while the girls are in competition next July. My tentative plan is for all of us to stay a week in WDW after the competition. It is so expensive to do both WDW and Universal tickets. I figured just letting the two men get them would be a good idea. HOWEVER, I am very afraid that once ds experiences the coasters, it is going to be difficult to get him back to WDW.

So a baby RC for me today. We were able to score a standard BWI room with the AP discount. So we changed from a studio at BWV to a BWI room. We saved $130 per room (3 couples going). I am thrilled as I have other plans with that $130

I've sworn no more changes until our trip in October. The poor CMs who see my reservation must be mystified by its history.

Welcome! Your "Tower" annotation after "Atrium Club" caught my eye. Are you speaking of the elusive 14th floor Tower Club? If so, were you able to actually book a queen room on the Tower Club level with the military 40% off? I hope the answer is YES!

I was indeed able too book it 40% off. It shook out to be about $250.00 more than a BL Atrium CL room over a six night stay.

I was actually booked with a BL view in the Atrium and called to ask about switching to the TP view. The CM told me that the only available options were standard view atrium and just standard view club level. I asked her what the difference was and she told me that one of them had a view of the "atrium" and the other had a view of the parking lot. Hearing this, I realized she didn't know the Contemporary very well and asked her to confirm that the "standard view club level" was on the 14th floor....which she did! I also booked my parents into one of the king rooms for the same dates and rate.
