Melissa and Linda: I am TOO Spoiled!! That is the problem!
Thanks for understanding!

So now that I've made peace with all my changing resorts....(I think.....) I want to thank you all for helping me along the way with my Disney addiction. And I guess now I am addicted to this forum....I missed chatting while I was at work today...I just got home and now I have to go to bed and get up all over again in the morning...who invented this "working" thing anyways...
Have a good nite all my new friends....love this place

Love this!!! My feeling is that at BC you really don't need CL .... there are so many good options to eat that are really convenient. Of course this is coming from the lady who has never done CL anywhere! So take my advise with a grain of salt!![]()
You could be describing all of us!! Yes I think you fit right in!
Wow what a big day for RC newcomers! I love it!
Jen
Ahhh, the kiddos finally went upstairs. DH went to sleep over an hour ago, poor guy. And Andrew is out with friends. Soooooo......DIS catch up time
SeptemberGirl - I don't think I said WELCOME yet! I also elected to do my Masters full time while working, with one child, and eventually pregnant with my second. I actually went into labor early the week of my finals my last semester, thank goodness for awesome understanding professorsYour trips (or tentative plans) sound awesome! Remember with the Dolphin that there is a resort fee tacked on and if you have a car also a parking fee. For us, the savings doesn't end up adding up.
Melissa
I think the CL was worth the money for us, it was so convenient. That alone was priceless. But for a few bucks less (ok more than a few bucks less) we can have breakfast in the room, a case of water, and a 12 pack of beer (maybe a bottle of wine for moi). Oh the sacrifices we make!
We will be good, now, I just have to wonder about swimming in November!!I am sure the kiddos won't care if it is a bit cooler.

Thank you!!!
Hi!!! Thanks!!!
A fellow grad student mom! Love it! I'm impressed you did had a baby in the middle of that! Two of my classmates had their babies in Dec - one took summer classes and will be back with us this fall!![]()
Dolphin - yep, I've paid the $17/day before. Silly but they do warn you. No car for this trip - I am so anti renting a car for short trips. I blame my husband for that. This trip is only a 3 night one, so the $51 lets us be walking distance to Epcot and DHS without paying the BW or BC prices...and right now it's pricing out the same as POP with transfers. Which seems insane to me, but hey. I priced Oct but that was higher. Naturally I will be doing this many times before I decide!
If the pricing works out, I say go for the Dolphin! We love the Epcot resort area and having the ferry is awesome!!! Granted sometimes a wait, but still a nice way to travel. Plus from the Dolphin the walk to DHS is nothing.
Yep, Master's mommy hereThankfully I was done by the time #3 came!!! One day I will dust off the MBA and use it, especially since I am still paying for it

First time poster on this thread and so glad to have found it. No one in my family stresses over room choices as much as me and no one cares to hear about it. I do all the planning and everyone else just goes along with my recommendations. Maybe they have created a monster because I can think of little else, except where I want to stay.
My sister, her 4 children, my mom and myself may do a 2 night trip in mid September to go to Halloween party. I will be okay with value but really want to do WL. I am not booking for 2 weeks so we will take what we can get but I really want WL. With my sister having 4 kids, her two year old becoming a 3yo next year and her oldest becoming a dis adult the next year, I feel like this is our last opportunity for deluxe. I liked AoA in March and I guess I don't want to get my heart set on WL and have it be unavailable. However, as of today there is still availability at AKL or BWI. I just want to make the perfect choice!
Thanks Wookie....that is another vote for POP right?? I think it is a tight race here!!
Jen
Wookie - so glad you got some sleepMiss' pictures must have you itching to get to AKL!

Welcome SeptemberGirl!!I am in grad school for social work. In a year I will have my MSW from Monmouth University.![]()
Ah, my next trip! So I decided to plan something for this August. I'm thinking late August and I am debating on property or off - I really could go any time this summer, but price and crowds do affect me. I would love to stay at the Dolphin for 4 nights but it might end up a value for 3! Anyway, that is my current idea. I welcome any suggestions!
Yup, we do!Hey ladies! As of today I have a Deluxe CL room booked...but DH may not be able to go, and the $$ for that room for just myself, DS12 (it will be a total surprise 13th b-day trip for him) and DS16 is just making me cringe. Anyway, thanks for letting me get my room anxieties out over here. I think you guys will understand!
Don't do it. Keep BC. But just to stir the pot a little... they should be releasing the unused blocked out convention rooms any day now at POR.Ok...big RC over here!! We are now at....drum roll please....The Beach Club!!! POR still not available![]()
Righteous bucks, Spiccoli!!!! That is a great savings. Yep, I will never ever, ever, ever, go back in June again...Speaking of, I applied the BB rate to our October reservation and saved ourselves $700!(I won't mention that I did check availability of my favorite resort. 2 bedroom suites only. Eek.)
Hi. I would keep CL and do a nice Value stint for 3 days. Pop rocks! (Ooooh remember THEM????I am debating dropping CL in October. What say you all? Sound like a good plan?
Wow, congrats on the 16 lbsWow you guys got really chatty today. I wasn't gone all that long just a Dr visit to my Pulmonary/Sleep Specialist and out to Chinese with Bob for lunch. Only made one trip to the buffet since I was down 2 more pounds when I weighed in at Dr's todayHe was happy with my 16 lb loss since last time I saw him
Will try to catch up on my reading now
Hey ladies! (and gents...do you have any gents over here?!?!?!) Been around this thread sometimes in the past, thought I'd pop in & say how saddened I was to learn of Jungle Cruise's passing. I chatted with her a few times regarding BC. What a brave gal! I'm sure its not the same around here without her.
I know Dani, Canadace & Kook on here. I recognize almost all the other names too! And although for my August trip I know exactly which resort I want (BWI or BWV)..I CANNOT stop changing my mind on the room type. Does that make me a "changer?"![]()

But I really really want a BW view at BWV...but none are available. As of today anyway. I hound my DVC friends to check constantly for me. They're about to change their numbers!
Ok I actually have a BWV studio standard view booked too for the trip. It's only another 1-night deposit, right???
Anyway, thanks for letting me get my room anxieties out over here. I think you guys will understand!

Good evening, ladies.
Sheila: We're staying on the Zebra Trail, Uzima Savanna. I've been quite impressed with the variety of animals we've been able to see from the room. We lucked out methinks.
Sorry I haven't been able to do a real reply lately. So busy with STUFF! Had another "off" day at MK (rain and god-awful crowds then a nasty bus driver on the way back)... We never seem to get it right at MK unless it's at a party. What a gorgeous "home" to come back to though.
Happy Tuesday!
A big RC welcome to Willow, SeptemberGirl, Tara and TT4!
Willow-Fun to hear about your plans!
SeptemberGirl-We love the Epcot resorts, too. Theres just something so nice about walking around that boardwalk.
TaraPA- Whatever room you choose, enjoy BWI!!![]()
TT4Dis- It would be fun to have stayed at all the resorts.
Pas-Multiple crewmembers ill?
Jenny-The great thing about BC is that the store and quick service are so convenient! I tend to request a room near the elevators there. We didnt miss CL there, we found we could grab something and go pretty easily.
Loved the photo of the beach and your cuties!
Babyberger- Summer and kids--its a lot of fun, but by the end they are so ready to go back. I think the timing works out pretty well.
Miss-Hooray for the BB! Thank you for your awesome photos!!
Dani-I think it would be fun to enjoy the theming at POP, and then switch.
Wookie-Im a toes in the sand girl, too. I love it even if its a fake beach&
Magic-Sounds like everyone is feeling better, good. Have fun planning on your July trip, thats coming up soon!
SueM- Thats great that you are out walking with your dogs. Hope you are feeling a bit better each day. What fun you are going to surprise your DD with a visit to GF.

GG-Hope youre able to get a great deal on your return flight!
Kook-Still pondering? Keep us posted.
Lacey-Your Oct trip sounds great! Being able to walk to F&W is such fun!
Janet- I think this RCer is finally set. AKL/BWI split, Sept 24-Oct1st. There comes a point where changing is too much workespecially when Im happy with our dining plans. Now I just have to patiently wait for Sept.
Heather-Hope youre having a great time in Cancun!
MM-This time of year I start waiting for information on F&W. Hope its out pretty soon!
