Hi Peeps! :wave2:

Hey the sun is out here in PA :yay:

Sue, hope the pain is lessening every day

MM, 6 days for the girls trip? :woohoo: Are you still at AoA? have to update the RC list! :)

Koh/Jen, Sam loves sushi (not me), so will have to check out Kona / Captain's Cook for her.

Miss, loving all those delish food pix (I'm drooling here :)) Enjoy the day, heading back to SWW??

Kook, you were up past your bedtime.. :goodvibes (guess where we were??) btw... my DS loves AD...:thumbsup2 hey I was up early today ... 4ish...fighting a headache but feel much better now.

Pas & Dani, waving hello to you today as we head in NYC. :goodvibes

Saying Hi and wishing all my RC peeps a great saturday!!! ...Melissa, Lacey, Sheila, Ginny, Linda, Magic, Christine, Wookie, Heather and everyone else!

------------------------------------------------------------

We are getting ready to head out to NYC for the day...we are going to the Big Apple BBQ Block Party in Madison Square Park.... lots of BBQ, music, etc.!

Should be a fun time.... love visiting the City.:goodvibes

Hope everyone has a great day! :flower3:

Thanks Janet. My knee is feeling better each day. Coming along quite well I think. Haven't been using the crutches much today to get around the house.

Thanks for the welcome...I'm kinda posting all over the place and so confused about all my reservations...really understanding this particular thread now for sure...:rotfl2: So I am rethinking...and probably re-doing reservations...

We can help with reservation confusion anytime. This is really a great group of ladies.

Thank you. After the DH spoke to his mom, I found out there is more to it than just him waking up angry for no reason. I just wish he would see a doctor instead of taking it out on everyone. I just think that man takes the saying "You hurt the ones you love the most" to heart too much.

Well I've been getting school work done today, and unfortunately I tried the Texas Trash my mil bought the last time they went to the lake house. I wish I hadn't done that. I can't stop eating it!! I might make some before our WDW road trip.

:confused3 Ya know,....I just wanna swim and sit and drink the whole time(pretty much in that order..lol) I am at the resorts...especially POLY...but reading how crowded everyone says the pools are...I'm just not sure now...I'm not going to the parks this time at all...ugh...so hard sometimes! Not that I'm complainin'....:) just not sure I should be paying soo much in July for GV CL when it's so busy. Maybe October would be better? I could just go with a moderate resort this time for the whole visit...This could go on and on and on....oy vay.

Personally, if I were going to WDW and not going to any parks, I would stay at the BC or YC, so I could spend the day at Storm Along Bay.

A lot of seating available there? I'm just second and third guessing myself. We've been to the parks so many times...usually in September, so I have no desire to go to them in July! My hubby just needs a relaxing vacation..he's been working 7 days a week on a project for a couple of months...so I just don't know. Please tell me more about Storm Along Bay.. and BC/YC. CL available? Worth it?

I agree, he does deserve a relaxing vacation. We haven't stayed at the BC/YC yet. We were planning on it, until we had to change resorts to qualify for FD. My DH refused to pay for the room categories that were available at the BC/YC on FD. Here is an aerial picture of SAB.....

It's practically a mini-waterpark and I love the lazy river.

I know others on this thread have stayed at the BC/YC, so they can tell you more about if it's worth it. Plus it has the bonus of being near Epcot. If you and your hubby decide you want to add park tickets so you can eat dinner in Epcot, it's just a boat ride, or walk, away.

Well I am booked, so I guess I'll just mull on it for a few days...Kind of thinking that it would be more worth it in a slower time period at Disney. We do love Disney in late September.... If he ever has a day off...we will chat about it! :lmao: It seems to be pretty close to the price of POLY GV CL....thank you for the info! :)

If you're just staying at the resorts, I would stick with deluxe. The pools and amenities are far above even the moderates I would think.

(Of course I am thinking of switching to CBR from AKL for this trip and I have only stayed deluxe or offsite)

I really liked the feel of the BC. If going on a trip with just DH, I would stay here again!!

Hello ladies! Checking out of CBR tomorrow and into AKL. I'm really... really looking forward to it. We started out this morning at MK and breakfast was... get this: a flippin cute Mike cake pop and a Mickey red velvet cake pop. Oh my. So much for healthy. Lunch at LTT (walk up). Then a total monsoon this afternoon at AK. Got to go on the safari two times in a row because the rain cleared out the park. We had a brilliant night last night at DHS; all the Star Wars stuff had all of us geeking out -- can't wait to go back again tomorrow evening. :goodvibes

How was your stay at CBR? Yay or nay?? Rooms/beds? CMs? Grounds? Pool?

Hi Miss! Sound like a super day (except for the monsoon!:upsidedow) So glad to hear you are enjoying SWW! Is Miss M liking it all too? I can't wait to hear about AKL!

I can't wait to hear what you think about the AKL.

I'll give my full pros and cons when we get back, promise! Though I will say, we'd probably not be staying here again if given the choice... if it had to be a moderate, we much prefer Port Orleans. CBR (at least their non-pirate) rooms are in desperate need of a refurb. The double beds are just so soooo small (hubs is 6'3") and our room is quite worn. The front desk staff here have POR beat by a mile though.

Miss M (and I) both flipped when jawas and sand people walked right by us yesterday. :rotfl:

I love jawas!! I would have to fight the urge to run up and hug one. In Star Wars: the Old Republic there was a quest where you had to kill jawas on our Sith toons. I refused to kill a single one and just put the DH on follow and made him do all the killing.
