So I've mowed and showered and I've not had a resort epiphany. If I do change, I'll feel self-centered because DH and DD love CR/BLT, but DH is a huge enabler and also loves WL, but I think they would like a change this trip. We've been doing splits for a while, but since we're only staying 9 nights, I said we wouldn't split this trip, though I'm sure DH wouldn't care - but DD would

I'm going to think about this more while on my walk with DD - I just won't think aloud about all this - which might be near impossible for me

YES! You said Atrium Club and by golly, it sounded just like Beach Club, just 5 letters off. I'm glad you're back at the MK. Who voted for this change or was this made in a sleepless haste? I love it!

You've inspired me to call once again to see about BLT and/or Atrium Club availability

I will neither confirm nor deny that I just priced that out....but airfare is
And I know it will be über crowded.

If you're just staying at the resorts, I would stick with deluxe. The pools and amenities are far above even the moderates I would think.

(Of course I am thinking of switching to CBR from AKL for this trip and I have only stayed deluxe or offsite)

OH YES!!! Me too, BTW AKL is the perfect resort only stay...have you seen Heather's TR??

I'll give my full pros and cons when we get back, promise! Though I will say, we'd probably not be staying here again if given the choice... if it had to be a moderate, we much prefer Port Orleans. CBR (at least their non-pirate) rooms are in desperate need of a refurb. The double beds are just so soooo small (hubs is 6'3") and our room is quite worn. The front desk staff here have POR beat by a mile though.

Miss M (and I) both flipped when jawas and sand people walked right by us yesterday.

We weren't in love with CBR, glad the staff rocks though!!!

Just watched a new DIS video tour of FW and now I'm having huge WL withdrawal! Being the enabler that he is, DH of course told me to, "Call now and switch." UGH - what to do? Better think on it while I go mow the grass...

Thanks for posting the link to the FW video. Made me want to stay at the cabins.

MM, are those alternative plans for your 4th of July refundable? LOL. Priced the holiday too and yikes!! Airfare is outrageous!

Welcome Willows909!! Choosing between July or sept/oct .. My vote is the later.... Oct is likely to bring cooler temps... F&W, MNSSHP, lower crowds, its a great time to visit. We can't go cause DD is in HS and in band.

Hi RC family! I have been so busy since getting back. I had to return to work right away on Thursday, and it really took a toll. Today is my "down" day and I am doing NOTHING but relaxing.

I have been looking over our October plans and just hit a huge problem. Our BOG and MNSSHP plans are on the only night that DHS has PM EMH. (That's A LOT of acronyms!) The only reason I care about EMH there is because Lily loves the dance party at the Disney Junior show. It's so cute and she had a blast last year. She got to dance with Jake, Mickey, Pluto, and Goofy. We had planned to do it last week but it didn't work out. I don't want her to miss it again. I would also hate to miss our prime BOG dining spot at 5 PM that night as well. I can easily move our party night. There's a few other nights we can do, but it is the BOG dinner that really makes me sad. We do have another reservation there for another night at 6:20, but I feel that it would cut into our party time by about 45 minutes. Am I being a brat about this? Please feel free to tell me I am!

More welcomes...thank you all..! I'm very excited in spite of the July crowds....husband wants/needs a break from working. So July it is. And of course that does not rule out September (have reservations for that as well...) We are sooo bad. Of course originally it was end of May then middle of September. Reasonable right? Reading this thread I know that I am not alone in changing...changing and changing my mind! Just losing it.

Wooooooow. Kook is right as always -- this was the right way around to do the split. We saw 5 types of animals just within 15 minutes of getting into our SV room.

I know I was just there, and I'm going back in September.....but I wanna go right now....

Even the DD's were saying that this morning, and making me miss it even more.

Our annual passes are still good through 7/15.......

Can't you keep the 5 PM BoG and then head over to DHS for PM EMH? This way, you both get what you want.

Our last two trips went through so many changes it's not even funny. Neither one of them ended up where they started out in both dates and resorts.

The only bad waits were about an hour for RnRc and just over 2 hours for TSMM (which we did in the Stand-by line). The DH and oldest DS were able to practically walk on to Star Tours.

I've been up less than 2 hours. The DH, Joey, and I stayed up until just after 3 AM watching this show I found on Netflix called Continuum. I'm off to more school work.

Yup. There is only one PM EMH during our trip. And we have 2 BOG ADRs. One is the night of the MNSSHP and PM EMH at DHS, the second one is not on a MNSSHP night. I really wanted to eat there the night we did MNSSHP since DD will be going as Belle.

If both the BOG ADR and the party at DHS are equally important, I'd keep the 5pm ADR and head over to DHS as Wookie suggested and skip the Halloween party that night Having the prime 5pm slot assures you fairly prompt seating, and then allows time for you to attend EMH at HS.

Schedule the MNSSHP on another night, and simply have Lily dress as Belle again. AND, check for an ADR for the new Halloween night...cancellations do occur ....check around 45 days out (and here I'm advising our TA what to do.... you know how to do it!!) If you can snag an early ADR on the Halloween night, give up the 5pm on the HS EMH night.

Kids love dressing up... why not have Lily be Belle twice??

Also...Disney may decide to add another evening EMH at HS .... as AK closes early and Epcot has F&W.... I'm kind of surprised that Disney does not have a second EMH at HS for your dates... you are staying over several days.....
