A huge {{{hug}}} for you and your fiancee. I had to put my dog to sleep last month, and that was the hardest thing I ever had to do. Denny was with us for 11 years, but it was still very difficult.

Another huge {{{hug}}} for you and your fiancee. Although there will never be a replacement for the puppy that you lost, I hope that you'll find another dog that you love.

My parents lost the puppy that they had picked out of a litter of shelties and were really not sure what to do. Like you, they visited her often, waiting for the day they could bring her home. She died due to vaccination. In the end, they went back to the breeder and picked out Fergie who now rules the roost at my parents.
I hope that you do have a beautiful wedding and honeymoon and that when the time is right for you, that you find the puppy you are looking for to spoil and love.
