Good Afternoon! Our trip is coming up in August for 5 nights and 5 days with a dining package and we (husband, 8 year old, & 4 year old) currently have booked O'Hana for our arrival dinner, Crystal Palace for 1st day Breakfast; Fingers crossed for ROL dining package on 2nd day; Akershus Princess Dinner on the 3rd day.

So, if we get the very coveted ROL package, that leaves one TS left. We are planning to hop quite a bit, and on our 4th day, splitting Studios/Magic Kingdom to take advantage of Magic Hours that night. And, then MK (likely) after check out. What do you suggest to take that final TS spot? We are planning to do an early Epcot day in conjunction with AK on the 2nd day, so we could take advantage of another showcase or do the Garden Grill for another character experience (although I am not loving the food choices there), or perhaps something at a resort? I would love to hear your input? And thank you!

Since you have TS planned for days 1 through 3 already (and I'm assuming for ROL you are booking Tusker House?), I would do something on your 4th day. You have a lot of character meals, but if you want another one, maybe consider H&V at DHS. Breakfast is Disney Jr. characters and lunch and dinner will be Minnie and friends. Sci-Fi at DHS is also pretty cool! The food isn't great, but the atmosphere is pretty amazing (one of the best themed WDW restaurants IMHO). You could also head to an MK resort after DHS - perhaps Whispering Canyon at WL - or eat in MK - I would suggest Skipper Canteen.

The Wave is a favorite of ours. Another one we like is Teppan Edo at Epcot. If you are into crab legs, Cape May for dinner is always good too.

My kids are grown, but from the first time we started going the WDW, right up until now their favorites are Garden Grill or Chef Mickey (breakfast). I would say either of those is a good choice. If you want to try a resort, do Whispering Canyon at WL. Just my 2 cents.

Perhaps for your Epcot day you might consider Via Napoli? Its a really beautiful restaurant. Kids can have pizza while the adults can have a nice dining experience without the chaos of characters and too too many kids.
Another great meal is at MK at Liberty Tree Tavern. Its in park, food comes right to you with no fuss. Traditional American style food (ie. Turkey, mashed potatoes etc. ).
You're going to LOVE Ohana!
