We will be at WDW Nov 17-23 and going to Our Lady of the Universe on Sunday Nov 22. We are wondering if anyone else will also be attending during that time frame. If so and you are taking a cab would you like to share, or if you are driving could we possible catch a ride with you. We've been before and know that the taxi isn't that expensive each way or that we could take a Disney bus to DTD then taxi over. We just figured if we were going and someone else was to, why not save a little money on a taxi or see if someone would be kind enough to give us a lift. We are staying at POP if that helps and it's just 2 adults

TIA

The last 2 times I've gone to WDW, I've been able to get a great weekend rental from Alamo, which I've used to drive to Mass. The first time it was $10 a day, last time it was $20., You can pick up the car at the car care center (CCC) which they provide a free shuttle to pick up at any of the Disney hotels, so it's super easy. Go to the Alamo website and check out their weekend specials. Good luck!

Well, I checked for you and you have to return the car by 11/21 to get the $20 weekend rate, and your return date is 11/22. Well, keep checking, maybe they will extend the offer.

We were staying at OKW in Feb. On Sat., it took about an hour to get back from the church to OKW. On Sunday, we attempted to go to Mass. We scheduled 45 minutes to arrive for the last Mass. It took 45 minutes for us to just see the church. When we got up to the driveway, they waved us by indicating the lot was full. In the shopping mall next door, there was no close parking. Since we are all seniors, the walk was a little too far to attempt. The following Sat, we left an hour early. We parked in handicapped parking. We were lucky and got out of the lot fairly quickly.

On our next trip, we are planning to go to a different church. There is a site, masstimes. org which will help you find a different church. We are planning to go to the church in Celebration.

The suggestion to rent a car is something to consider. I have not been in a cab for a long time. I am sure that there is a distance plus time factor. Then there is the tip. So the cost might not be that much different.

thanks for the suggestions. We've been there before and taken a cab so we know the price. We just figured that if anyone else was going and was also planning on taking a cab, why not share? Or if someone was going and had room for two adults if they wouldn't mind taking us. We don't mind going alone we just figured we would pose the question.
