~Our June '09 adventure~ I'm home! Started TR 7/2

What ride could I go on over and over?

That would have to be a tie between Spaceship Earth and the People Mover(heehe I don't call it the TTA either). Since it's closed this year :scared1: I guess I'll be riding SE more times than expected:cool1:

Toy Story Mania!!!!!

Oh that is a good one!

December, 1969
8 years old.
Looking through a chain-link fence
and being told
"Mickey Mouse is going to live here."

Aw!

The rides I could ride over and over again would be TOT, RNRC, and TSM. When Mission:space had a soft opening we did ride it 11 times in a row though!

TSM is awesome!

Well I found a new ride this trip- Spaceship Earth.. idk why. Dh and I both loved it.. its relaxing.. and I love the questionaire. I think I love it because DH and I both liked it a lot and its like a bonding ride! hehe

But besides that Haunted Mansion... and probably Soarin.. if I got the chance.

What ride are you absolutely scared of or won't ever go on?

Well I was scared of Rockin Rollercoaster- then when I seen the take off.. I was like ohh crap.. and we rode it.. it was fun but I hate the take off and won't ever ride it again because of that. Plus, it made lightly motion sick because of the take off and I hate that feeling. I was also dissappointed with Expedition Everest.. I'll explain why in my TR.[/QUOTE]

I love the new changes to Spaceship Earth too!

I HATE the take off of RnRC too!

I'm SO SO SO sad that the people mover is closed! I'm more sad about that than Space Mountain being closed.

Riding the ORIGINAL version of Journey Into Imagination with my dad and singing the song together.:worried:

Aw, I never made it onto that!

Let's see...rides I could do again and again. Well, back in Jan, we rode POTC, Buzz and the PeopleMover a million times. I'm so sad that the peoplemover is not going to be open on our trip. :sad1: It's so relaxing and there is never a line. I love whizzing around Tomorrowland and looking at everything. We also could ride Soarin' again and again and again!!!

I'm so sad the people mover is going to be closed too! It's our favorite!

I am SO MAD that the people mover is closed and I'm so glad somebody on here feels my pain. It just wont be the same trip without it. IT's so peaceful, especially at night I love to ride around and see the whole park lit up at night :( hopefully I'll be able to go back next year, but it doesnt seem very likely right now.

The original Imagination ride was truly a site to see. I'm not sure how old you are but I went on this when i was about five and again when I was about seven. It was just such a magically awesomely done ride. You really felt(or at least i did) that you were in a magical place, and I was so sad when they gutted the entire thing. At least Figment is still there, but I miss the Dreammaker. Hopefully they'll get their acts together soon and redo the ride and make it great again.

I know! Our trip is going to feel SO different without the people mover.

I'm 21, going to be 22 in July! So is the Imagination ride that's there now completely different than the original?

The ride is completely different than the original. It's so sad! I think you can look up the original on youtube.

:sad1: This was a sad update. But at least it's just a 1 month from today post instead of it actually being 1 month from today--you still have your whole vaca ahead of you!! :thumbsup2

Um...the ride I could ride over and over again... I have no clue. I like so many. Even though it's not a ride, I think I could live in the World Showcase and never get tired of it!

Awww that was a sad "one month from today" :sad2: I hate thinking about leaving WDW, thinking about it NOW makes me upset!

There are lotssss of rides I could do over and over again at WDW but I would say Toy Story Mania tops the list. I wanted to ride it more than the 2 times I got to when we were there last month! Too bad the line is out of control!

Haha, that's true!

Yeah World Showcase has a ton of stuff!

Me too and I'm not even there yet!

TSM is AWESOME!

I feel your pain about ending your trip. I never want to go home from a trip to WDW.

Yay, I get to answer my first question of the day! If I had to pick just one ride, I would say POTC. But if you asked me to pick a more thrilling ride I would say Space Mountain (but the Disneyland version, not the WDW version). And running a close third place is Soarin.

If I could, I'd just live at OKW forever!

POTC is good! Oooh I haven't been to Disneyland!

1 month from today...

1 month from today will be June 30th. Our last full day. :sad1: Our last waking up to Dad making coffee, our last getting ready while mom makes breakfast, our last eating while watching Stacy, our last sitting out on the patio deciding what we really want to ride today...BOO! I hate this day!

Of course, those of you who know me and have caught on by now, you can guess we're spending our last day at the MK!

We'll go there getting everything in that we want to again. We'll be trying to soak it all into our minds so we can remember what it's like until next year.

We'll eventually make our way to our 6:30 p.m. ADR at Tony's. The place we must eat at on our last night of every trip. While we look forward to the food there, it's also dreaded because it's our last meal at WDW.

After eating, we'll go do some more things before calling it a night. We have to get up early the next day and get on the road. And here's where I'll start crying. Not hard, but tears rolling down my cheeks.

We'll walk down the middle of Main Street and when we get to the end, we'll turn around and take one last good look at the Castle. Last year, I couldn't even look at the Castle I was crying. I'm a big, ol' sap. I admit it.

There's only two good things that come out of leaving WDW:
1) We have to leave in order for our next trip to start!
2) Coming home to see my little guy! I'll be missing him like crazy!

Question of the Day...

Today's question comes from lizet313!

If you could meet Walt, what would you say to him?

I can't stand the last day of vacation. Back in January, we spent our last day at DTD. It was raining that morning, so the weather was definately matching my mood. I was crying on and off all morning before we went to DTD. My DH was just laughing at me! I'm very sentimental when it comes to Disney. So much planning went into the trip because it was a surprise. I get weepy around Christmas too. If anything has a big build-up, I cry when it's over.

Aw, don't feel bad..my B/F and Sis laugh at me too!
