Just spoke to DH he has our invoice in his hand (he's at work he's a postman) he said it mainly looks correct (thank goodness) after the whole mess we went through earlier in the week I didn't know if they would get it right. Now we can chill out a bit but I'm going to have to ring them about DS's age when he travels I think they have him as 8 when he'll be 9 when we go. They did manage to get his date of birth right which is odd ;) Now I'm going to try to enjoy the weekend.
 
as long has DS's date of birth matches his passport I wouldn't worry. they might go and mess it up again ;)
 
Ahhh.... good point in that case I'll leave it be;) I'll still check the rest of the invoice though.

I'm starting to wonder if we're going to have the same problems. (just read your original post!). I tried to book hotel, tickets and flights online last sunday - massive issues - deposit wouldn't go through-system error detailed in the email 'confirmation'. To cust a long story short on 2nd call to Disney Uk they transferred me to their 'UK Agent' where I ended up having to go through the whole process/booking again!

Now my concern is I have a booking reference in the format xxxx/s09 - just been to the Virgin Website after reading your post and our holiday is appearing on there! Deposit has also been paid to Virgin Holidays too - but not showing in our holiday details!!

My invoice hasn't arrived as yet - who did yours come from? Wondering if we'll still be able to take Magical Express from orlando Airport -I did say we wanted to do this when making booking?

Don't want to make too big an issue about this with Virgin as the price was too good - possibly a mistake at their end??!!:rolleyes1

Sounds like a few gremlins in the disney system last week!
 
:surfweb: I know;) It has nothing on it about transfers from the airport to the hotel or the return journey. Nothing about the perks for onsite guests booking direct either come to think of it I'll ring them next week about these missing items:confused:

Thank goodness everything else is okay AND we've got our refund back of £150 (phew). Seems like the lovely ladies I spoke to on Thursday actually knew what they were doing I'm glad they sorted everything else out for us, I'll try to speak to one of them again next week and thank them for doing such a wonderful job sorting out the problems we had originally.
 
So is your invoice from Virgin or Disney?? Assume that your original reference was in same format as our xxxx/s09?

Can you post and let me know what they say? Like I said think we have a price too good to be true and don't want to 'alert' them unnecessarily!
 
Yes our format is the same.. our invoice is from Disney. Do not pay on Virgin's website they should never have had your payment and Disney should sort it out "in-house" but I would ring Openride Limited for Walt Disney Travel Company to check this out their number is 0870 24 24 900. We also asked to book Magical Express but it's not on the invoice or the extras which is why i'll ring them again. Just remember to only pay Disney and ignore Virgin altogether.I'm going to try the web address they gave us and see if it works and I'll let you know.

The web address goes to http://www.disneyworld.co.uk The"Plan-It Disney" section seems to work okay but I would definitely ring them to make payments or if you have any queries.
