Just found your trip report and I'm jumping in to follow along. I'm at the end of the first page and I see I've got a lot of reading to do.

So, the 4 month mark always seems to be a big milestone for me for some reason...I'm not really sure why though! I also know once Emma is back in school at the end of next month it will fly by even faster!!!

Yes it is!!! between school and football for us it's going to be here in a blink of an eye!!!

It's nice to have a game plan laid out regarding the payment of the trip! Well, that was a longer update than I had expected

Time for a Dance Party!!!!!!!!!

I was able to get a Dinner ADR for 'Ohana on 11/16/15 at 5:05pm!!!!!! YAY!!!!! I guess that is one of the perks of being an insomniac...I got a text notice from Disney Dining Buddy at 11:57pm last night stating they had a reservation available on that day and I clicked on the link and was able to snatch it up!! I have received similar notices in the past but missed out on them, but not this time!!! So, excited the time is perfect too!!

I will share how this changes our plans for 11/16 in a later update..just wanted to share the good news! ​

Hi Claire Thanks for following along! I think "normal" people spend their breaks at work getting up and visiting other colleagues and getting something to eat/drink, I on the other hand break out my Disney Spreadsheet and begin to update! I guess it's one of the perks of working from home...no other colleagues to distract you.

You have more control than I do, because if I worked from home, and started updating my Disney plans, I'd probably forget about work and I'd keep doing my Disney stuff... Course I suppose there's that whole thing about if you don't work, you don't get paid, then you wouldn't be able to go to Disney, so that might help motivate me to get back to work eventually.

Definitely easier said than done...I have to set an alarm on my computer to make sure I get back to work. Like you said if I don't work there will be NO DISNEY! LOL

I completely agree - once the kids get back in school time will fly by and as much as I can't wait for it to get here it seems to sneak up on you then it's over. Well at least for the majority of us, some of us get to go again!

The drive is about 600 miles for us from NC to WDW, if anyone has any tricks in determining an estimated cost of gas...please share).

I always love to do a budget before hand so I can plan but also to see how close I come. We use http://then.gasbuddy.com/Trip_Calculator.aspx to help us plan for gas costs. It is pretty good as long as gas prices don't fluctuate to much.

I'm a little behind, I apologize. Food poisoning is no fun I got it while we were on our honeymoon in Las Vegas. Thankfully it was the next to last day but unfortunately it was also the day we were checking out of the condo & checking into a hotel room.

I love your spreadsheet! I've never used Touring Plans but it might be something to look into.

The food poisoning was the worst thing...and the train ride did not help matters at all!! I was so thankful when the Train Attendant told my husband about the room temp ginger ale...that was the only thing that helped me enough to fall asleep for a bit.

I have to give credit to @Elevationist for the spreadsheet...she sent me a template that I tweaked a bit. I love having it now, though I need to make some further updates (yes more changes...but that is part of the fun)! I have really enjoyed playing around with the Touring Plans website. I don't always agree 100% with their recommendations, but you can arrange your Touring Plan to accommodate your personal preference. I love how it just breaks down all the details for you and provide you and estimated time frame. I have always enjoyed the section you can view on their site that provides you views from the doorways of the different resorts. (you can use this feature without a subscription...very cool).

Thanks, I cannot wait to try everything I have read/heard so much about at 'Ohana! The time was perfect too!! This gives us time to eat and head back to MK to watch Wishes (thinking about getting a FP for that, or watching from the beach at Poly).

Updated ADR List:

So, let's not act surprised that there has been some changes to my ADR list!!
Because of that I thought I would provide a run down of our meal plans for the trip, with the updated ADRs:

11/15/15: Arrival Day
Originally I had a T-Rex ADR at 3:30 for this day. However, once I started thinking about it I was nervous about making any ADR since we are driving and you never know what can happen with traffic. So, I decided it might be best not to any ADRs for this day and just stick to QS. Here is what I'm thinking:

Lunch QS at DTD: I'm thinking Bongos Cafe Express for me (this South Florida girl would kill for some yummy Cuban food). Now my DH will probably go with something from WPE, but you never know he might decide to try something at Bongos.

Dinner QS at DHS: I think we will stick to something pretty simple like the Backlot Express

11/16/15: Magic Kingdom Day

Lunch QS: Columbia Harbour House which we will make sure to find a seat upstairs this time.

Dinner ADR: 'Ohana at 5:05pm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm still so excited about this ADR and I was even able to get it at the time I was hoping for!! Perfect timing to either head back to MK for Wishes (using FP), or hanging around on the beach to watch! So, this meant I had to cancel our Whispering Canyon Cafe ADR, I definitely want to try it out at some point though

11/17/15: Animal Kingdom/Epcot

Lunch QS at Animal Kingdom: Flame Tree BBQ (this hasn't changed). Keith loves BBQ so feel like this is only fair we try this out!

Dinner ADR at Epcot: San Angel Inn at 5:00pm. This one has remained the same. I love the ambiance of this restaurant and of course hoping for table near the water.

11/18/15: Animal Kingdom/Hollywood Studios

Breakfast ADR at Animal Kingdom: Rainforest Cafe at 9:45am! AK has EMH hours this morning, so the though is to get there at 8am and hit the attractions we missed the day before or want to redo and then head to breakfast. Now I wouldn't mind possibly changing this ADR to a Tusker House Breakfast (just don't tell Keith that).

Dinner ADR at Hollywood Studios: Sci-Fi at 4:35pm!! This is why we decided to do a breakfast ADR...since we have an early dinner scheduled. I have a feeling we will be utilizing our snack credits later in the evening.

11/19/15: Epcot/Magic Kingdom (MVMCP)

Lunch ADR at Epcot: Via Napoli at 11:30. We originally at Rose & Crown but Keith mentioned he really didn't want to each Fish and Chips again since that is what he would be eating a CHH earlier in the week. We also thought we could change it up a bit and get an Italian Meal since we hadn't done so yet in the trip.

Dinner QS at Magic Kingdom: Pecos Bills (minus the cheese sauce...boo!)

So, there you have it our updated meal plans for the trip. The only changes that I could see me making (stop laughing) would be if I was able to get a Lunch ADR on 11/16 for BOG, then we would probably bump CHH to 11/19 dinner. Also, as I mentioned I could see me changing our Rainforest Cafe breakfast to Tusker House if it became available. What are your thoughts and opinions on any of these places?? Good or bad...bring it on!!

I would much rather have Tusker House than Rainforest Café. I've eaten at RFC a few times, and I liked TH much better. Haven't eaten at CHH, but the Fish & Chips at Rose & Crown were excellent! Ate there 3x. Had the fish 2x.

i would go to TH over rainforest every time.. better food character meal fun interactions. Rain Forest is just---meh.

The only changes that I could see me making (stop laughing) would be if I was able to get a Lunch ADR on 11/16 for BOG,
