Lisa, what an awesome update and WHAT a special safari ride. The pictures are great and you and your daughter look like you are thoroughly enjoying yourself. Festival of the Lion King is now a new favorite -- after finally seeing it for the first time last year.
Lisa--it looks like you had an amazing day! The WAT looks fantasticMegan looks like she is having a fantastic time on her very special trip
I would love to be able to get that close to the animals, but, I'm not so sure about that bridge
Jammin' Jungle is my favorite parade too and we missed it on our last trip (even though we spent almost 2 full days in AK). Maybe I'll need to try and concinve Rachel that she wants to go to WDW instead of DLR for her senior trip

A great update! Yay on riding EE 4 times and seeing Goofy!
I'm glad you managed to get on the tour after all the mix up! It looks like you had a great time.
Lovely pics of FOTLK - can't wait to see that show![]()
WOw I love AK... and that trek looked like so much fun! I didn't make it onto Everest which is something I wanted to ride, but it broke down with my DH and DS at the top! and so I didn't get a chanceGlad that was so much fun!
What an awesome adventure for you and Megan. Nice to be able to take the time to just be together having fun! Doesn't happen often enough at our house. Can't wait to see more!
Your first AK day with a visit to HI for dinner then DTW thrown in was like a trip around the world in one day!
Oh, the Wild Africa Trek looks awesome! My husband said we'll have to take our grandson on it when we take him to WDW. I see that the minimum age is 8 and there appears to be one girl on your trek who is younger and shorter than Megan. Did you notice if that girl was able to handle the bridges OK? Jason is average height for his age and unless that changes in the next 2 years I can't imagine him being able to handle some of those big gaps between boards. And by the time he is 8 (he'll be 6 the end of June) I wonder if I'll be able to handle the bridges
I just love FOTLK too. It is my favorite show at WDW. And the AK parade is my favorite parade. The Christmas version of it is even more spectacular.
Sounds like you had an amazing day in Animal Kingdom. Lovin the custom made t-shirts.
the funny thing is that the same CM was there and recognized us each time...she would of given us more FP's if she had any (the FP machine was empty by our 3rd ride)
These are amazing!!! What an awesome idea!!!!!I wanted to do something different to celebrate Megan's birthday...so I created a 6 x 6 flag for each country....we then asked a KidCot CM to write in their language "Happy Birthday"

she had a lot of fun getting the messages...the US and UK were a bit anticlimatic though...since they were in english![]()
The trek looks like so much fun. I'm going to show them to DF when he gets home later so that maybe we can check it out some time in the future.I don't think anyone could ever tire of the FotLK, its such a wonderful show.
you really have to go on the trek, its such a different way to see the park!
I love DTD, it gives you the Disney dose without having to go to the parks. And like I told you I always end up getting an ornament from the Christmas shop.
Looks like another wonderful day.
The African Safari Trek looks cool but I can skip the bridge that looks to scary for me
How great is that. Those shirts do look awesome.

I haven't read your AK day yet. I want to take it all in(can not wait to read and see the African Trek) and Scott is upstairs waiting to watch AI. I promise...I will read it tomorrow. Just wanted to come here to say hi.
These are amazing!!! What an awesome idea!!!!!
Love your AK day!!!! The trek looks like it was really fun- getting up close to all the animals. I'm jealous- 4 TIMES on EE????
We love Ohana but I always leave there soooo full!!! Love your route to DTD! I need to remember that one! Sorry you couldn't ride the balloon. I hope to do that someday!
Great updates!!![]()
