Our girlie summer Vegas get-away (over and done with)

Worth it though - yay for vacations!!!
Yep, yay for vacations!! :cool1:

Hey girls--glad that your planning is going along. It's a good thing I canceled--turns out my mom is having more surgery on June 7th, so I would have had to cancel in any event. (Her neck bones are out of alignment and have to be re-aligned.)

I keep getting emails from hotels/casinos for deals and it's so sad! I can't even think about when I can go--maybe in the Fall. Can't wait to hear details of the trip! Who is doing the trip report?
Oh man, that's too bad. That does not sound like a fun surgery at all. I hope it all goes smoothly for her and her recovery isn't too painful.

Fall would be a nice time to visit. Less crowds, cooler weather. :thumbsup2

As for a trip report...... well, now come on, you know we can't tell what happens in Vegas. :rolleyes1 :rotfl:

Hellooooooooooo girlies!!! Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend and the perfect (which means sunny but not hot - here at least ;)) weather. Today starts the first of five hockey days in a row, so keep your fingers crossed that I make it :scared: Too much boy stuff makes me a bit coo-coo......

In case I faint from hockey stank tomorrow -

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to everyone!!!

Oh, and....

RIO!!!

And to all you lovely Vegas ladies.....

Hey ladies,

I hope you all had a nice day today. It was a good day here. We had blueberry pancakes for breakfast, yum. Then it was present time, handmade cards from the kids and a Wilton's deluxe cupcake set.
From Ruben I got some much needed new clothes for summer!! :cool1: 7 shirts, 7 tank tops, a skirt (which is actually for my Halloween gypsy costume), a white shrug to wear over the tanks, and 3 nightgowns. There was also a slinky nightie that I think is more for him than me. LOL
And I got two new rings and a new purse that I've been using for two weeks now.

I needed some new clothes, especially since temps are already reaching 90. Not today though! It was only in the 70's, perfect weather. :goodvibes
And my old purse was literally falling apart, there were holes in it. Which is why I was already using the new one. Of course, it's Kohls, not Coach, but I'm still happy with it. ;)
Nothing too fancy for this gal. Although Theresa, you'd like the shirts, they are all blingy in some way. :thumbsup2

Then for lunch we went to Red Robin, our favorite family restuarant, and then it was chinese take out for dinner. No cooking!

I am tired though, ready for bed. TTYL! :hippie:

Marcie, where you at girl?? Still recovering from your wedding weekend? I'm eager to hear how the rest of your stay here went.

Theresa, I bought some water for you. Actually, I bought 3 - 24 packs of Aquafina. I figured 2 for you and Marcie to split, and then one for Angies room. :confused3 I also have your V-8 if you still want it. Anything else we need??

If so, let me know so I can start buying it little by little. Thanks!

Yay for blingy shirts and yay for eating out :thumbsup2 I'm so tired right now - too much hockey stank and still three more days of that to go before a night off from it :scared:

I think the water is awesome!!! I wouldn't mind a couple of smallish bottles of Mountain Dew (bottles so I can close them back up). You're picking up a styrofoam cooler, right?

OKay, so we are good on water. And I will get some Mountain Dew. I'll keep an eye out for sales on the bottles. And also look for a cooler.

It will be here before we know it!! And I'm definitely going to need help to carry all this inside. lol

Hey everyone, I'm back. Sorry I didn't check in sooner but our internet is still not setup correctly at the new house. I rested a lot over the weekend, that was exhausting. I saw y'all mentioned Cinco De Mayo. I was at T&T celebrating with Erik Estrada. :thumbsup2

As for the spa, I am fine with just the rooms. I need to watch my spending. So, today I plan on putting in my vacation request, I haven't done that yet. Beth I will send out your letter. I'm so sorry I forgot to pay you in Vegas. I was a bit nervous.

But, now that we are relaxed and it's over I don't feel any different then I did before.

I have 5 tickets to Madame Tussauds wax musuem that we didn't use last week if anyone is interested. I'm good either way.

Oh, that was fun last time we did it - we should try and fit that in some time and take pics ;-) No lap dances with Ben Franklin for me though :rolleyes1

Thanks for getting some water for me, Beth
No problem!

I vote for Skittles :rolleyes1
I first read that as you wanted me to buy some Skittles. :rotfl:

Erik Estrada? LOL How fun.

The pics are great!

No worries on the letter, I'll keep an eye out for itt.

It was so fun there last time. Our pics were crazy. :rotfl2:

OKay why in everyone's signature, including mine, am I seeing options for Twitter, Facebook and email???

Too many Big Kahunas and Witch Doctors???? :confused3 Seriously, dood, you gotta lay off the sauce in the daytime or you keep seeing things :rotfl2:

In the interests of keeping things new and fresh - and never sticking to an original plan :thumbsup2 -

How about the Buffet of Buffets? It's only $34.99 for 24 hours and it's good at 7 different buffets. I was thinking on Saturday we can go for lunch at the Cheesecake Factory instead of dinner on Sunday, then late dinner at the buffet at Caesar's, breakfast at Paris (crepes!), lunch at Planet Hollywood (we're shopping there anyway), and then we can do an early dinner before Chippendales at the Rio - all for only $34.99 each!! This would mean we would miss Dick's though.....

What do you think? Opinions, preferences :confused3

I'm just going to show up and follow along so anything sounds good! I'm always up for a buffet or two or three:confused: And what do you mean about missing Dick's? We're still going to Chippendales, right;)
