Dinner at CRT looks like it was wonderful! What a great way to start off MNSSHP.

The Dwarves line is always crazy! Good thing you were planning on doing two parties.

I'm not sure if I will ever wait in line to see them again... it's a little crazy

The picture of Ariana with Dopey made me cry - Disney magic at its best. She looks beautiful. Whatever Disney pays the castmembers that play the characters it is not enough, bless them for giving us all memories like that.

That was a great character moment

We knew we wouldn’t get a good spot for the parade now so we made a decision to see the later parade (I was praying Em would stay awake for it).



We’d also had plans to go see Jack Sparrow after the Dwarfs but bumped him now to the end of the party. We were trying to get to the characters the kids were dressed up as on the respective nights....



We headed to the Haunted Mansion to get some spooky pics taken.



We lucked out because when we stopped for drinks, there was a Photopass CM set up with a tripod right next to the cart with no one waiting for pictures. A great opportunity for a quick stop and turns out she’s the one to get the hitchhiking ghosts pictures!

Next we headed to the castle to see the Villain Show. When we got there the parade was going past so we had to squeeze through the crowd but we made it to the castle stage and no one was there so we were right up front. (In hind sight since we really wanted to get characters we should have stayed to the side but oh well) I thought the show was really cute and I love the red queen dancing at the end!

I loved the Villan show! They did a great job with it and by chance, I got one of my favourite pictures of the trip.

After the show we rushed to the left side (facing the stage) to try to get a pic with Maleficent. Now there were some really tense times in line as the characters only stay out so long and we were in a really long line. We managed to get our pic taken just in time

It was my fault we were so late getting to Maleficient’s line. When the show was over we immediately started heading left. I thought she was coming down the ramp to the front of the Castle, but of course she stopped ON the ramp where the line was forming so while I hesitated, there was a slew of people in line by the time we reached it. The CM in charge announced Maleficent would be finished her meet and greet by the end of “Poor Unfortunate Souls” – no exceptions. Now I’m a half full kinda gal but it was looking grim seeing all those people in front of us. So as we were waiting in line listening to the different songs, each time a new song started that wasn’t Ursula there was a sigh of relief from the people around our little area. Then, the familiar song came on and the urgency for people to walk up, smile, click (no autographs!) and leave kicked in. LET’S GO PEOPLE! I think there was one more group behind us that made it and then that was it.


After our pics we saw a spot on the curb right in front of the castle and decided that was a good enough place to watch the fireworks. I must admit it’s not a great spot but it worked.

Then we headed to find a spot to watch the parade. We found a spot right by Casey’s. Some lady came and stood behind us right before the parade was going to start (of course we were sitting because we got there early and the kids were sitting in front of us) and she made the comment that they had a good view but I’m sure these people will stand and ruin it so of course instead of saying to her well we got to our spot nice and early so we were sure we could see we just stood up Maybe if she had of not said it so rudely I might have stayed sitting so she could see.


Ha! I missed that... but I was going to stand up no matter what. I had pictures I wanted to take! Specifically a certain horseman who was missing his head!

Demetri was thrilled that Barbosa came over to a fellow pirate to say hello and shake his hand. Then our group, plus a few other I think that chimed in, yelled “JACK!!” until he turned around to say hi.

After the parade ended we decided to rush over to try and get those pics with Jack Sparrow. When we got there we were told he will be leaving at 11:30 and that we probably would not get to the front of the line in time to see him. Well she was right we didn’t but he was nice enough to pose for a couple shots before he left.

Waiting in line I was really hoping we’d have the same luck we had earlier with Maleficent, but not this time. A few party goers (ourselves included) asked the CM why Jack finished so much earlier than the other characters and before the party ended, but I don’t remember hearing an official reason.


After that we decided it was time to head out, so we went for the bus and back to the resort.


Now I have to say we didn’t bring the strollers this night and the kids were very good and didn’t whine like I thought for sure they would.


I loved our party night, it was a lot of fun! It was a late night and everyone was doing well, but how were we all for the next day – Ariana’s birthday?!

I love the ghost pics available at MNSSHP they were very fun. Maleficient was the highlight for me even though I was very stressed out that I wouldn't get to meet her.

The Dwarfs line is really long and had we not been doing 2 then I don't know that I would have waited. Next trip is villians, parade and fireworks. I basically plan to not leave the hub by the castle

Love your castle time, sorry the meal was less than grand. But it looks like everyone had fun. I love the mouseketeer outfits, what a neat idea. A great costume that is comfortable.

I still love the Castle even though I wasn't too impressed with my food. Next time I will just get something different

Even though we got set back by the start with waiting for the Dwarfs we still had a great time at the party... although I have yet to have a bad Disney day
