How would I know where the Mounties are? I knew they were from Canada so I should get some credit.

I ordered the first three books for my 9 year old after you had mentioned them a few times in this report. She read the back and decided she wouldn't like them, so now I am reading them. I just started book 3.

Do you feel like wine, or just drink alot of it???

I need to get those too -- Ariana and Demetri would love them.

I think they would enjoy them. I think my 9 year old would too if she tried to read one. She tends to "not like" anything I suggest. I thought that didn't start until they were teenagers.

I just started 3, but with Christmas prep I don't have alot of time to sit and read them. I have to keep reminding myself that they are written for younger readers since some of the stuff viewed as an adult seem kinda silly, but I still like to read them since I can easily picture where they are in the parks usually. Although the first book referenced places that no longer exist like Ariels Grotto, I'm sure it was there when it was written.

sounds like a pretty good rest day or an episode on Friends oh the memories of doing laundry at WDW (I am so spoiled now w/ DVC ) glad you got it done and the kids had some fun in the pool.

they look very awesome all dressed up for the halloween party can't wait to hear all about it!

We got to Mk just after 4pm and headed straight to the castle for our dinner at CRT. As soon as Emma found out we were going to Disney for her birthday she told me she wanted to eat at the castle, so why not start a party night that way.

We checked in and got our picture taken with the princess of the castle. Tracy and I discussed this before our trip because we knew we would get 2 poses since we were a group of 6. We decided we would get one of just the kids and one with all of us.

Then of course I had to get a picture of the 2 Cinderellas

I also found these little critters peeking down at us

Then we headed upstairs for dinner. Eryka and Emma got the pizza and I got the Tasting of cheese (which was ok) and the Pork 3 ways which was not great. The best part of my meal was dessert which was the trio and very tasty.

Our dinners were mostly great. Demetri and I had the soup of the day (my hungry all the time six year old makes better use of the adult portions on the dining plan than my eat like a bird teenager does, so they switch) and it was the most delicious soup I’ve ever had! Trouble is I didn’t write down what it was.... I was going to finish Demetri’s too but didn’t want to fill up. In hindsight, I should have.

Ariana had the pizza and Demetri chose the roast beef tenderloin, both of which they really liked. I had the chicken stuffed with cheese and broccolini which was just OK.

Our desserts were yummy... Demetri and I had the trio while Ariana had the make your own cupcake which was also her birthday cupcake! Royal purple icing with mini marshmallows, mini chocolate chips and Mickey sprinkles.

Snow White’s visit made me tear up, Ariana was so utterly HAPPY. Ariel was gorgeous and took the time to come back to our table and have a rather cute conversation with Demetri after the Wishing Star ceremony. Belle was really sweet, but I really really wish they’d dress her in her yellow ball gown. She’s in the Castle! Let the girl dress up! Aurora was the chattiest princess of the night... Demetri had fun with all of them explaining despite his sword skills, he was really a GOOD pirate.

I have seen Ariel every time I have eaten at CRT... which is nice since Emma loves her!!!

It was my first time seeing Ariel there too and this was our fourth time. Missing for us this time was Jasmine. We love Jasmine of course but it was a nice switchup.

We were cute as Mouseketeers!

Ariana was thrilled to see Snow White and was hugging her so tightly. Snow was great though, she just lifted our autograph book high in the air to sign and let Ariana keep right on hugging her.

I didn't know that about Belle in her ballgown but it makes perfect sense!

After dinner we stopped in castle couture because I was looking for a tote bag. The bag I bought for the trip was not big enough and was driving me crazy. We didn’t find a bag in there but we did find some pixie dust.

Then went into Sir Mickeys and I found a tote I liked so I bought it.
Next we were off to get in line for the Dwarfs. We got in line at 6:25pm. While we were in line the candy line opened up so I took the kids through there once.



Planning for this party I’d actually seriously considered not visiting the Dwarfs. We’d seen them at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party just last year and though an absolute highlight of the trip, I didn’t know if we wanted to give up party time to stand in line. But, we were going to two parties this time and I really couldn’t deny Ariana visiting her best buddies now could I? She was wonderfully patient and in good spirits. As we got closer to the front of the line a few people around us were smiling in anticipation of her visit.

We finally got to see the Dwarfs at 8pm This was going to seriously throw off our plans for the night.


Ariana went first on her own and immediately had some fun with Dopey. Then we all joined in!

Dinner at CRT looks like it was wonderful! What a great way to start off MNSSHP.

The Dwarves line is always crazy! Good thing you were planning on doing two parties.

The picture of Ariana with Dopey made me cry - Disney magic at its best. She looks beautiful. Whatever Disney pays the castmembers that play the characters it is not enough, bless them for giving us all memories like that.
