I am so sorry you had that encounter with a nasty CM. She needed to check her bad mood at the door. I am so happy you liked Beauty and the Beast, we love it .

Ya sh was not a happy lady, oh well one bad for every 100 great ones!!!

One Man's Dream looks great - we never ended up there but I hope to get to explore one day.

I have to agree with Beauty and the Beast being a favourite - it sure is an amazing show!

Our thanksgiving was last month since we live in Canada, but thanks anyway,,, I wish I didn't have to work today

Since we were in the area it was time for the kids to conquer some headliners. Of course Emma wanted no part of this.


Rock n Roller Coaster was THE ride that Demetri was looking forward to the most on this trip. Last year he’d grown tall enough for most rides... all except this one. Here he was in November 2010:

Now he was tall enough and he was absolutely thrilled to be trying this for his first time. Does he look excited to you??

We were in our car and reading the overhead sign when ... bam! Off we went! I love this ride photo!

He loved it! Having a little fun in the shop after the ride....

When Tracy was done I went on with the kids. Now this ride was good and I would ride it again but if I didn’t get to ride it, it wouldn’t be a big deal. Eryka I know loved it!

As we were waiting, Emma and I were playing a little game of ‘spot the people in the Tower of Terror ride when the doors open’. Totally original game, we know no one else has thought of it.

I took pics of the bathroom signs cause I thought they were cute.

Next we were off to conquer Tower of Terror. Tracy told me to go ahead and take them on and she will sit with Emma and Demetri cause it’s getting close to dinner time and she doesn’t want to ride it right before dinner. I have never been on it so I’m up for it. Now it was just me Eryka and Ariana and we got the front row. Ariana had a handle, Eryka had a handle and I was on the aisle and couldn’t find a handle . This was unsettling for me since I am scared of heights. So the ride starts and we get to the part where I know we are gonna drop and shoot up and I have nothing to freakin hold on to OMG I have never been so freaked out in my life, which is I guess the point of the ride. I did however think we would stay at the open door longer but it was only a second. I will ride it again but I am NOT sitting on the aisle again


Whilst Natalie was getting totally freaked out, the kids and I had settled into a shady spot with some benches right beside a water fountain. It was in the spot where the ride lets out and since I’m usually bustling straight out, I was happy taking pictures of the details in the area.

Good for Demetri getting to ride RNRC. River loves this ride but I'm to chicken are there any stomach drops or does it just go fast? I think I can handle the fast but not the drops.

I have only been on TOT twice and have been terrified both times. I hate heights and stomach drops. River could do it over and over. I think I would have a heart attack if I didn't have a handle to hold on to!

Can't wait to hear more.

No stomach drops but it's loud and loopy Don't wear any hair clippies, it'll get jammed into the back of your head! It's a pretty quick ride too - you should try it!

It was still too early to head to our dinner reservation so Tracy and the kids decided they wanted to check out Star Tours. Well Emma and I had no desire to ride it so we decided to head to Little Mermaid and meet them after. Well after waiting in line for 15 min we didn’t get into that show and the next show would be too late so we got out of line and headed to the front of the park where we got a great spot at the end of the parade route so we decided to watch.

Demetri had been super looking forward to RnR and Star Tours was the ride that Ariana couldn’t wait to ride. It’d been down for refurb on our last trip and we were anxious to see the new and improved ride. The walk to the line was fun, lots of details to see and I loved the windows where you could watch the shadows of characters walking past.

Remember how I hadn’t wanted to go on ToT because we were approaching dinner time and I hadn’t wanted to get an upset stomach? I honestly can’t tell you much about the new Star Tours. I had to close my eyes less than halfway in because I was seriously going to toss my cookies. Totally should have taken a ginger Gravol before going on this ride. Next time! The kids though, loved it and they loved wandering in the gift shop afterwards

Tracy texted me and let me know they were done. Tracy had promised to get Demetri a Nala and I had promised to get Emma a new Slinky Dog but the store was across the park from where I was so Tracy offered to stop and grab the Slinky for me.


The parade had just gone through our area and they’d moved our stroller to a completely different spot. Luckily as soon as we made the crazy dash through the crowds, it thinned out quickly and we made it to the store. I was tempted to get my own Slinky, but I knew it would take only three minutes once out of the box for my kids to tangle him up so I passed.


When they were done shopping they met us at the front of the park and we headed out to the bus stop. As soon as we got to the bus stop it started to rain. Other than the first night this was the first time we had to deal with rain and we were really hoping it would be quick and end before we finished dinner.


It was quite the downpour and I’m so glad we weren’t waiting too long.... not like the next time we were at DHS!!

I had he same problem with Star Tours. I thought it was maybe where I was seated..on the end seat. But I felt very queasy after it.

I know I'll have to try Star Tours once, but I have a feeling I may get that same feeling you had Tracy.

Caught up again.

Looks like a fun day at DHS. We missed the drawing class this time & Zachary was a bit disappointed when he realized. It's on the top of our list for next time. He really enjoys it.

Sorry Star Tours make you sick Tracy! Tim get motion sickness but he managed OK on Star Tours. We actually rode three different times & he rode with a us every time. I guess you never know...

Yay for Demitri making it on RnRC!! That was a really big deal when Zach was finally tall enough.

We caught a bus to the Grand Floridian where we were having dinner at 1900 Park Fare. I love the dinner here and prefer it to the breakfast (although I like the breakfast characters better) I really love the Strawberry soup. I didn’t think I would the first time I went there but I loved it when I tried it and now it’s the first thing I go for when I get there.


I know you love the Mad Hatter, but I love 1900 Park Fare for the sheer fun of it. The step sisters and Lady Tremaine are some of my favourites.

Tracy and I had a little fun with Lady Tremaine.

While we were posing I was telling Emma to get out of the way and Eryka to get the camera and take the picture and Lady Tremaine told me I have the kids well under control… good job! I’m not sure if that’s a compliment or not It was fun anyway!


As the characters were being introduced, we had a jolly time booing instead of cheering or clapping and we carried it on as Anastasia and Drizzella arrived at our table. Anastasia was quite miffed and offered to just leave and forget the whole thing.


Ariana was thrilled to have another mini birthday celebration....

1900 Park Fare is one of the best character meals, especially now that they replaced the two unnamed (Suzy and Perla) mice with Lady Tremaine, Drizella, and Anastasia.

I would be happy and smiling all the time if I worked there, I don't know what her problem was. Maybe she was having a bad day... I always try to remember that if someone is rude to us we never know what happened to them before that made them grouchy so I like to give them the benefit of the doubt and hope she is not like that every day

I have done both but I am going to try breakfast again next trip since I have done dinner the last 2. We had great characters when we did the breakfast, Pooh kept coming back to play with a squirrel Emma had that squeeked

When we left dinner we went outside to get our strollers and guess what….. still raining . We were going to go to DTD after dinner but I have no desire to shop in the rain so we decided to check out the stores at the GF. I have only been to M. Mouse Mercantile before so it was nice to explore some of the other stores. I did pick up a few things at Mercantile. I also spent some time taking some pics around the lobby. Isn’t this a beautiful resort?

It was fun simply window shopping and wandering the area. I hadn’t been to these stores before either and it was fun to appreciate all the details and of course, take some pictures. Emma set up this picture .... see her through the other window?

When we left we took the Monorail back to MK so we could catch a bus back to Pop. When we got to MK Tracy remembered she had to get her MNSSHP tickets from Guest Services so she headed there to grab them.


Earlier at the Pop they’d told me I couldn’t pick up my MNSSHP tickets from Concierge because their system prohibited them from finding my proof of payment (I’d forgotten to write down the confirmation numbers!) ... something about needing three fields of information instead of the usual two. They said I’d have to go to Guest Services in any of the parks and they could help. Thankfully this actually was the case and they got it for me in two minutes flat.


Then we rushed to the bus stop since it was still raining.


We got back to Pop and just hung out in the room since it was raining. I’m sure I watched some football too


No night swim this time but hanging out in the room was a nice relaxing way to end the day too.


Then we all hit the sack… will it be an early morning again?

Yep our plans got changed because of the rain but we wound up doing something fun! It was nice to have the time to explore the resort a bit.
