I'm so glad that the doctors were able to give you a diagnosis, but sorry that your hubby is miserable and that you're getting sick again... You do look awesome in that pic though! Can't wait to hear more Calvin news =)

Thank you! As long as i'm able to take some medicine, even half a pill, i'll do it! I don't want to be completely miserable especially in this awful heat! How hot was it for you today?? This weekend it's supposed to hit 108 and I have maternity pictures outside on Saturday!!!

Hi, lettuce and spinach don't bother me at all so it just seems to be cabbage,

Things will start to improve in the BM department once the medicine kicks in, no doubt, so tell him not to worry.

Most days I feel completely normal and carry on as if I don't have a bowel disease, it just catches me off guard once in a while.

You are so sweet to be doing all this research for him and caring so much, especially when you have a baby to deliver so soon!

Okay, I figured the darker more digestible greens, he would be okay. I'll be sure to tell him this.

Thank you so much for answering all my questions and being so informative and not embarrassed to talk about it. :goodvibes

Ha, having been subjected to many examinations to get a diagnosis as well as going through the joys of childbirth, trust me, I have very little dignity left!!

So glad you guys have an answer to your hubs problems! I hope it eventually goes away, like another poster had said. Its not easy dealing with a disease that can be embarassing. I hope he gets full relief from pain soon.

Btw...
You are one stunning preggo!

Wow that's amazing! The doctor did say it's something that he'll live with, but that there may be days, weeks, even months where he won't be affected at all if under control and taken care of which would be amazing! Especially since my hubby loves to eat! The doctor did tell him that he will be having to have a colonoscopy ever 3 or 4 years now since he has been diagnosed with UC, which honestly, I know DH doesn't like, but it does give me some relief. I want to make sure this doesn't progress into something more serious later on.

I just had my appointment this morning and talked to her about my morning sickness. She told me I could continue taking my Zofran as needed and it wouldn't hurt the baby at all :thumbsup2 I also haven't gained any weight since my last appointment 2 weeks ago, and i'm still measuring the exact same which is crazy since I feel like i've gotten a little bigger over the past 2 weeks, but apparently it's all in my head. I would LOVE it if he came that early! It's still considered full term and I wouldn't have to be miserable for those last 2 1/2 weeks! Praying for that!

I'm glad his bleeding has stopped. That is very important and an excellent sign for sure. Tell him to hang in there, he will get better eventually. As long as he listens to his doctor and follows everything he tells him, he should be able to lead a normal, healthy, happy life. :) I agree with you that although the testing is annoying every few years, it is necessary and important. As my mom always says, the best medicine is preventitive medicine...go for your normal checkups and there is a greater chance of finding something in its very early stages, rather than if it's too late. It will be good for him.

I'm glad it's safe for you to take the Zofran at this stage! Some relief would be great for you so you can get some more rest before the baby comes. And I know what you mean about wanting to deliver full term but early...everyone convinced me that with the first baby, a woman always delivers late so I was caught completely off guard when my water broke 17 days before my duet date with Philip! And everyone said when I was pregnant with the second that he would surely come early because of the first one, and Jonathan ended up coming 2 days late! :confused3 So, you never really know for sure, anything is possible! :thumbsup2

Be well, take good care of yourself and hubby, and before you know it you will be holding that wonderful baby boy!

Ugh... It was a high of 111. I went out for lunch at 11 am, and I don't know what the temp was yet, but it was nasty hot already. And it's our monsoon season through the end of this month, so it's nasty hot and we get the joy of humidity as well. Luckily I have to spend much time outdoors. Hopefully it will be cooler on Saturday for your shoot. I can't wait to see the pics!

Aw thanks so much! Let's just see how i'll look in about 4 weeks...I may not be as stunning then! :lmao:

The only thing about his doctor is, he's never there! When we first found out he would have to go to a specialist, we called and tried to make an appointment with him. Well he doesn't work past a certain time on certain days (which I get, he's probably doing procedures at the outpatient clinic). But we just got a call yesterday late afternoon asking if we could reschedule DH's next appointment because he was taking that day off. Even though they were the ones that set that appointment up for us.:confused3 So now DH has to wait till August 28th until he can see the doctor, which is quite a ways away since he's still in pain and was hoping he could at least get a steroid shot to help with the pain.

One of the girls that sat at our table for the MR cruise, just had her baby and he came 2 weeks early. So did another friend of mine, whose daughter showed up a week and a half early. I hope I don't get bad luck and go past my due date  I'm sure i'll be miserable!

Yikes 111! Guess I should be grateful for our 104 or 105 today. :headache: Our shoot is at 10am so it won't be ridiculously hot, but I know it will be warm. I'll just tell people that it's not sweat in my pics, it's my pregnancy glow :lmao:

You look great!! All belly. I hope you go early like you want. I did so it is possible. I only went two days before my due date though. Lol

Just catching up! Sorry to hear about your hubby, that sounds like no fun at all! At least you guys have an asnwer though, and it's treatable!

I know exactly how you feel! The last stretch is the WORST! I have a friend due about a week after you (I swear I know about 12 pregnant women right now!) and they put her on bed rest last week :confused3 She is also a client of mine and I had just booked a last minute trip for her family to WDW and she had to stay home! Of course she would have been miserable probably anyways, but she was still disappointed!

Glad your DH is getting excited about the trip, it probably helps take his mind off the discomfort!

Lol hey even 1 day early would be fine by me! :rotfl: I just want to meet him as soon as possible! That, and I want to start working out again:hyper:

Hey Steph!

Oh gosh, that's what i'm most worried about! Having to be put on bed rest. Was she getting contractions, is that why she was placed on bed rest? Poor thing, having to miss WDW :sad2:

You're so right. It's giving something for DH to look forward to, and what he's most excited about it the food because he's trying out different foods right now, even though it's not what he wants to do, and he's hoping when our trip comes around, he'll have it nailed down what he can and can't eat.

I'm sorry, I thought you saw the link on the cruise TR. I did start one, there's a link in my signature. :)

And here I am hiding inside the house with a projected high of 90! :rotfl:

Alicia, you look GREAT! Looking forward to hearing more from you!

Long Beach can be REALLY uncomfortable during the Summer though, especially if you don't have an AC and the windows don't get a breeze coming through them. :headache: I remember one Summer down there, we would escape to the hot beach just to get out of our hot apartment! So trust me, I know how you feel!

Yay! I am so glad I found your PTR! Congrats on the upcoming addition. I always have enjoyed your reports from the past and can't wait to see what you guys think of WDW with the holiday decor! My DH and I are trying to have a baby and you better believe that infant is going to either WDW or DL too :rotfl:

Thank you so much! I'm so excited it's almost coming to an end and we'll be meeting our little guy shortly :goodvibes I'm super thrilled to visit the parks during the Holiday setup. I think my mom will enjoy it too since she goes all out in her house for decorations! Good luck with everything! Maybe you should go to WDW or DL so that the 'magic' can happen ;)

ETA: Nevermind your ticker is cut off, but I see that you ARE going soon! Yay! Do you have a TR?

Luckily we have AC in our LR/DR/Kitchen area which is where I usually am when I'm on the computer. It's nice and cold, but I have to go take some stuff back to Costco and go to the Post Office and shopping, and I'm dreading that!

I'm sorry about your hubby's doc having to reschedule the appointment. Yes, they are doing procedures a lot when they are out of the office. Fortunately for us, our gastroenterologist is in Monday and Saturdays in the morning until 12 or 1, but Tuesdays and Thursdays he is in from 12 or 1 until 4 or 5pm. His second specialty is internal medicine so he is our regular doctor too, and fortunately for us, if we have to go to him right after work we can (he's only 10 minutes from where I work, and 25 minutes from where Eric works). He does outpatient procedures on Wednesdays and Fridays. I hope your hubby can get some relief from the pain very soon.

I hope you go early too, just because you won't have that waiting period after your due date saying to yourself, "Come on already!" And yes, it is not fun waiting past your due date, but no matter when he comes, you will forget about all of that once you are holding him, promise! :goodvibes

I need to fix my ticker, I hate that it's cut off. Yes I am going to start a PTR, going next month with a girlfriend from work, not hubby this trip and he is sooo sad he isn't going, that I feel bad. I am going to plan a DL trip with him so we can see Carsland.

DH and I have been talking A LOT recently about our trip. I think it helps him take his mind off things. In fact, he took it upon himself to change my original schedule (:scared1:) I came into check on him yesterday and saw him with a paper and pen and writing things down. (Sorry for the way it looks, I just copy and pasted it from a Word Doc)

He changed quite a bit of things actually. I bolded the things he added that were different from our original plans. Let's see how well we stick to these plans. He's even thinking about taking off the Chefs ADR() and instead using it to reserve lunch at either the Grand Floridian Cafe (I know nothing about this place, but he looked it up and liked the menu, and figured my mom would like to eat here because of the GF decor) or doing Kona Cafe. This is crazy to me considering he loves Chefs, especially for the escargot.

Okay so a few questions for everyone.

1) It looks like Test Track will be up and running in time for our trip which is great! But now I just found out that the grand opening for the new Fantasyland will be on December 6, the Thursday before we get there. Will it be crazy now?!?

2) For those that are DVC members, what does your card look like to use for discounts? I tried using the card I was given when we originally signed our contract at a Counter Service restaurant over at Disney's California Adventure because they took the DVC discount, and when I showed her my card, she told me it's not that card, it's another one. So I thought DVC would send us some 'real' cards within the next few months, but what I got was the same card! It has no barcode on it, so what do I use for DVC discounts??

3).....dang it, pregnancy hormones. There was something else and now I can't remember at all!!.... Well hopefully it will come back to me. Hmmm.. OOOH I REMEMBER NOW, 30 minutes later! LOL! Okay how does switching resorts halfway through our trip, effect our tickets that we purchased through Undercover Tourist? I found out through another TR that they add the UT tickets to your KTTW cards, but when we switch resorts, what happens?

So what do you guys think of our plans?
