Baby shower looks so wonderful! Love everything about it! I sure hope the baby is off that nerve now and I hope your DH starts to feel better with the meds. :goodvibes

I loved the baby shower blog post! I showed my husband the pics of the food table with the cute names and he didn't get it... :confused3 but I thought all the attention to detail was amazing! You got some really great pics of women eating baby "poo" from diapers, too! Love it!

I LOVED the theme of your shower. Hope everything at home is going well! :goodvibes

Hello my friends!

It's been a while, but i'm now on maternity leave starting now so i'll be on here more often!!! :cool1: Woot woot!

With that said, there's an update on my blog here and i'll be updating my blog again tonight with a new picture of me.

I'm 38 weeks and still no baby. :confused3 At my appointment on Friday I was still the same, 80% effacement, no dilation. :headache: I'm not getting my hopes up that anything has changed by this Friday, but we'll see. I've been walking more often, eating pineapple, spicy food, bouncing on an exercise ball - all the things that are supposed to help speed up things, but nothing yet. If anything the walking is making me healthier, the pineapple is sweet, I love me some spicy food, and the exercise ball feels WAY better than sitting on a chair or couch, so there are some benefits.

As far as updates, I had completely forgotten to make an ADR for the Grand Floridian Cafe, and actually DH was the one who reminded me. So two days ago, I changed our original plan of eating at Chefs to the GFC. Otherwise nothing new in the WDW department. I did buy some ponchos the other day at the dollar store for the trip but that's about it.

Thanks for sticking around and i'll be on here more often now!

Hi Alicia, glad your maternity leave has started, will be nice having you around a lot more :) Fingers crossed Calvin will make an appearance soon!

How is your DH doing?

Hi Monica! :goodvibes

Thanks so much for asking! DH is doing MUCH better with this medication, thank goodness! :cool1: Which means it isn't something more serious, like the doctor thought would be the case. He's been able to get back to his 'normal' foods, but isn't eating some leafy greens (especially after I told him about your trigger foods) so I think he may be scared to try them, but he's doing good!

I really Calvin comes soon. But as for now, i'm trying to enjoy every moment alone with DH while we still can, like cuddling in bed at night without being interrupted and being able to go somewhere without having to grab this and that for the baby. I had made a bet with DH that I would be early (the 18th) and he's saying the 24th. Let's see who will win! .....hopefully me since it's not too far away! :lmao:

Wow, I can't believe you're at 38 weeks already, how exciting! The nursery looks great :) and the shower looks like it was a lot of fun.

How are you feeling? I hope the pain has subsided.

How wonderful DH is feeling better.

I can't say enough how much I love the vintage Pooh. It reminds me of the original books I used to read when I was little. It's such a warm and fuzzy feeling :goodvibes You guys really did an amazing job on Calvin's room.

I know! 2 weeks (or less...hopefully not more!) to go! Thank you I love walking into the nursery and seeing it completed. Now a baby needs to be in it.

I'm doing okay, a few cramping sensations here and there with lots of braxton hicks but other than that, i'm doing good!

Hopefully we can still plan to meet up during our December trips?? Even if it's just for a few minutes to say hello and get a quick picture?!

Me too! That's probably why I love it so much because it reminds me of the old days. Thank you! I'm happy it's all done, now we just need a baby in there!

Since we've made our WDW plans a long time ago, DH has been concerned about going to Via Napoli. He's worried about what he'll be able to order through the Dining plan and if we're really going to like it because we have never been there. But last night I showed him Bonnie's (bangzoom) report and now he's totally on board! Thank goodness, because now he can stop looking for replacement places.

I'm also considering getting some packing cubes. I think they may help, at least me, with this trip, considering we're moving a total of three different times and it will help me keep things together. I've heard great things about them and they may keep me sane.

I updated my blog last night (here) with current pictures of me. I look pretty big I must say!

I got some great packing cube from ebags.com. I do like to use them a lot.

Hopefully the baby comes soon!

You know what Jill, did you talk about them on the budget board about a month ago in a response to packing cubes?? I basically looked in to the idea more when I had read that blog and someone (maybe you?) had mentioned ebags.

Nope, wasn't me but I love ebags!

The full moon is on the 29th, soooooooo............;)

Absolutely! I've been looking forward to it :)

And you still look fabulous!

Would you want to a shaver at the hospital? They don't provide them as far as I know. That was one thing I noticed when doing that clinical rotation. It would drive me crazy not to be able to shave my legs at the hospital.

Oh very great idea! I have a small travel size can of shaving cream too. Thanks for the suggestion Pam!
