We just returned on Sat. from a week at Vero Beach. We were in room #2417 an ocean view inn room. It was on the 4th floor in the center of the inn. The view of the ocean was beautiful. The weather was great. We ate at Sonya's on Monday night. We went to WDW on tuesday and have been reminded why we go there in Dec. It was very crowded. We went to the test track and got a fast pass at 1:19 with a return time of 5:25 to 6:25. We returned at about 5:40 and the fast pass line was longer than the other lines. We got up to the doors to go into the room before you get on the cars and the ride stoped because of a malfunction. We waited for about ten minutes and then just left. We figured that since we will be returning to WDW in Dec. we didn't want to wait until it started again. Wed. and Thurs. we had all our meals at Shutters. Wed. we went to Mel Fishers treasure museum. It was fun to see all of the things that they have found on the ship wrecks. Thurs. morning I went down to try and get picked to go on the Turtle walk, but I wasn't. I spent my time in the ocean and didn't go in the pool. It was always crowed at the pool area. We had a really great time while we were there. Next year we are going to try HIlton Head. Can't wait until I can make my reservations for next year. It's great to be able to try out different places.

I agree 100%! Thanks for sharing your trip -- glad you had a good one.

Glad you had a great time at VB :D

Don't know if it was you or not, but I talked to a DVC family staying at VB last Wednesday when they were touring the museum. It would have been through the Plexiglas window to the lab at the rear. It has been an exciting season for the museum/lab so far. These are some of more interesting artifacts that came in from one of the dive boats last week: An Ebony Wood and Silver Cross, Silver Salt Box, the 1st ornate unbroken fork ever found on the 1715 fleet and a solid gold arm bracelet. Also 181 silver cobs(coins) were brought in by one of the boats the day you were there. Thanks for visiting! pirate:
