Sorry it's been awhile everyone! You know how crazy things get around the holidays. But, I'm going to crank out another installment while my beauties are FINALLY sleeping.
It's still Sunday, November 12th
We get through security and everything okay. We see where to grab the maps and we get a few for our big group. I will fully admit that I was so overwhelmed. On the map, it looks easier to navigate for a first timer than it is.

But we just stood still for a second and had to catch my breath about how amazing and HUGE it all really was.
Once we started to walk down Main St, I had to call Samantha (a Dis'er) per her request. She's a good friend IRL and my saving grace on this trip. I cannot give her enough props as she helped me plan our vacation start to finish. I just love her to bits.

We first venture into Adventureland. My poor mom's sunglasses break. Yikes! Thankfully my sister had a spare pair. The first ride we go on is one of the kiddos' choosing, Magic Carpets of Aladdin. This is really neat and totally up their alley. We want to try the Jungle Cruise immediately after that but the wait is pretty long. We were going to grab a fastpass but decide to come back. Pirates of the Caribbean is next. We should have done this ten times over. It was a favorite among our group, especially with my three year old son. (His Pirates shirt is his favorite souvenir!)

It's pretty hot so we grab a drink and sit down on the benches right outside the ride. Immediately Peter Pan & Wendy walk up. How cool! We're able to take a picture with them and they sign our books. They were soooo nice. Wendy was incredibly sweet. I loved meeting them.
We ventured into Frontierland after thank. I love how WDW has things pretty clearly marked. We immediately went to Splash Mountain. Unfortunately, I didn't get to go on this ride. My girls did go with on with my mom and others. They loved it!
(They are in the 3rd and 4th rows.)
We then panned for gold a bit, which they kiddos really enjoyed. At this point, I start to feel pretty icky. Little did I know what was in store for me. Ugh. Big Thunder Mountain was next. Something odd to point out is that my son is really, really close to 40". So close in fact, that some rides called him 40" and a couple rides did not. It wasn't consistent. So, he got to go on this ride, which was great because he is a train fanatic! We about kicked ourselves for not grabbing a fast pass and waiting while panning gold. We were in line for about 30 minutes. The ride was fun and I'm really embarrassed to admit that this was the first ever roller coaster I have ever gone on. (Yes, I was deprived as a child I guess.

) After this ride, my daughter Morghan is requesting the Haunted Mansion. She's been talking about experiencing this forever so there was no way I could say no. She was soooo excited!! We walked right in, no wait at all. Everyone also loved this one! So cool, neat effects. I love when you see the ghost "inside" the car with you. LOL!!!
Our plan for lunch was Pecos Bill. Unfortunately, this place was packed. I mean full to the brim. No room for all of us anywhere. It was a huge bummer. We decided just to wing it and find another place to eat. We just strolled around, peeked in a few shops and took some silly pictures.
We stumble upon Cosmic Ray's, which is also really full but at that point, we decided to just cross our fingers. We did find a few seats outside. The food was okay. It probably was better but I was feeling really gross at that point. I had a fever, my sinuses hurt like the devil and I couldn't stop coughing and blowing my nose. Ick. The little guys were also tiring out so we decided to head back to our resort for some down time. We had plans to come back to Magic Kingdom for the night so we were all fine with this. The park definitely gets easier to navigate once you "sort of" know where you might be.

We got on a bus and headed back to the Pop.
Next up, some swimming!!
