Well I just booked our first trip home to SSR. April 2-8, yes it will be crowded for spring break, but we didnt want to take our DS out of school. I was pleasently surprised to find out the Flower and Garden Fest was being extended so we will be there for our first F&G. We are pretty excited about it. We will be making our ADR's this weekend. Any suggestions?

I know what you mean about having to stick with the school breaks. I have a 16, 13, 12 year old and they cannot miss school now. It is too hard on them. But we have gone at all of the busy times and still had a great time. We have gone at X-mas, Easter, 4th of July, Labor day. We have been going to the parks at EMH. (usually at night, cuz they are older). We also do lots of non-park things like rent boats, bikes, swim, movies, shop etc. .

The Turf club at SSR is a very nice restaurant. We really enjoyed it. Also, You could try Olivias at OKW it is just a boat ride away. They may not be quite as busy as some of the others.

Have fun!

Enjoy your first trip...you'll have a blast!!!

I will recommend Alfredo's, the Italian rest. in EPCOT world showcase. Hands down the best italian food I've ever had, and my wife is italian. (I hope she doesn't read this) If you go, make sure you at least try the Fettucini Alfredo, you won't regret it.

Wow, you'll be there for the beginning of the Flower show! There are usually special events/things to buy like postage stamps at the opening. We've never been for the opening, we did make it for the last weekend this year and we were able to buy some things at a discount.

However, you'll get to see the flowers in their first glory!! Have a great time.
We're going to be there around the 3rd weekend.

Bobbi

PS. And to the PA folks, we used to live in Lower Makefield, Bucks County, a GREAT place to live/raise a family.

Thanks for the suggestions so far.
We are in Center City Phila.
bobbiwoz I am actually a Pennsbury Grad went to school with the kids from Lower Makefield

We loved Flower and Garden Festival. Have fun! We love LeCellier and I love Coral Reef (but my DH does not)

We're also from SE PA -- Havertown in Delaware County

Use fastpass, you will be OK. Have a great vacation.

Awsome!! Have a great trip!! We loved eating at LeCellier (Epcot), Earl of Sandwich (DTD), ESPN Club (BW), Kona Cafe (Poly), 50's Primetime (MGM), and California Gril (Contempory) :thumbsup2

We'll see you there!

We are going 4/1 - 4/6 in a studio at SSR also (didn't want to use all of our points before our use year).

I need to get the family to sit down and decide on ADRs also. It's so hard now that we can do it 180 days in advance.

I know what you mean. I am trying to get my DW and DS to sit down as to where they want to dine.

That should be a great time at SSR as it's really growing up very nicely.

We'll be there too (3/31- 4/9) - didn't know F&G was extended. We were there 2 years ago and it was beautiful there!! See ya at the pool!!

Well I called and made our ADR's. We got EVERY one I asked for. I was very surprised to be able to get the days and times we wanted for all of them.
I will post the list in a couple days.
