Hi all!

I was thinking I'd start a short PTR for our upcoming "drive-by" visit to WDW! I haven't posted any TR's here on the DIS before except for my TR of our Wedding/Disneymoon trip in the Wedding and Honeymoon forum which is linked below-

WHEN:
3 nights from Saturday Sept. 19-Tuesday Sept. 22

Where:
In a Studio with an MK view at BLT.

Dining Reservations:
We're not doing a heck of a lot of dining this trip (well, for us anyway:lmao:). Though there are a number of "traditions" that we adhere to. It's just that we can't do as many as we only there for such a short time. So this is what we have booked:

Saturday: Dinner in Morocco (one of our traditions. We LOVE it and the last time we ate here I tried a new dish on the menu which was soooo yummy and DH wants to try it!)

Sunday: Dinner at Narcoossee's. I have made reservations for this place the last 3 trips and have yet to actually go! We said we'd eat there this trip if it killed us! :rotfl:

Monday: Breakfast at Kona Cafe. We have had lunch and dinner here and have really enjoyed the food and service. We have not ever had Tonga Toast and we need to try it this trip!
Lunch in Biergarten. This is a tradition. One of my faves for sure.
Dinner in San Angel Inn in Mexico. Also one of our faves and
despite the fact that the tables are somewhat close to-
gether, we think it's one of the most romantic
restaurants in WDW. We like to get the Mole Poblano, it's
better here than anywhere else I've had it.

Tuesday: Breakfast at Crystal Palace. Another tradition and I love the fact that DH likes it too even though he's only been to WDW twice! He has asked when I was planning the ADR's for this trip and the wedding one if we were going to go to CP! How could I say no? Too cute!

Any special plans, events, etc. that you have planned:
Nothing really. Hopefully meeting up with some fellow Disney brides and some others. And maybe my wedding photographer.
Also, due to an injury I sustained on my wedding/honeymoon trip, we missed out on being in the parks for like 3 days of our honeymoon, so we didn't get to do AK like AT ALL or just simply walk around World Showcase and relax with a drink or two (which is something we love to do) so this trip is to do the things we missed doing on our last trip. But not in a hurried or stressed our way...
Also, this is our first time using DME as the last two trips we drove down...

So, all in all, there are quite a few firsts this trip! (OH! And DH hasn't done either HoP or MS yet, so those are definitely on the list!)

Basically, this trip was first conceived because we wanted to use our AP's that we got with our wedding package again before they expired. Then when we bought into DVC on our Disneymoon, it was too hard to not go! We were able to book a MK view Studio for the same nights we were looking at so we just went ahead and booked it!:cool1:

All we had to pay for was flights and food (and of course, shopping!:cutie:)

So, I booked our flights back a little while ago, so I thought I'd post that anyway (because I don't know what else to put in a PTR, I'm thinking I have to read some to get an idea)

Anyway, we're flying out of Westchester Airport which I've never done before. Our flight leaves at 8:15am and has a stopover in DC. I've never had to do a stopover on the way to Orlando before, but it looks like right now, all the cheaper flight prices had a stopover. Anyway, we land in DC at 9:30 and leave at 10am and then land at MCO at 12:13pm!!

We are taking DME for the first time this trip, so I can't wait to experience that! I'm hoping we get to CR by 2ish (fingers crossed). What do you all think? Is that even a possibility?

Our flight out leaves at 6:05 pm, so I'm hoping we can enjoy the morning and the early afternoon in the parks before we get picked up by DME.

Basically, here's the schedule I'm thinking...

We will be hitting DTD when we arrive (because I've never been to Basin and want to check it out, plus I have never had one of those Giant Oreos at Goofy's Candy Co.-actually I've never even been in Goofy's before, but have seen some pics and it looks so colorful and fun, I want to check it out) I also have to always go to Mickey's Pantry and a couple of other stores, so hopefully we'll have time. I'm thinking we need a few hours.

From there, we'll take a bus to BW etc and walk over to Morocco for our dinner ADR. Originally I had us eating at like 6:30 and then figured we'd have enough time to get a place to watch IllumiNations. But then I realized we have an MK view back at BLT and it would be the only night that would work for us to see Wishes from our balcony! So, I made the ADR for Morocco for 6pm. I figured we'd take the monorail to TTC and then back to CR and hopefully we'd be back in our room before Wishes starts! (supposedly 9pm that night, last time I checked)

The next day is our AK day. Originally we wanted to eat at Tusker House for breakfast, but we couldn't get an early time, so now I'm thinking we'll just either eat in our room or at the counter service place at CR and head over early to AK to see the Good Morning celebration thingy. I haven't been able to see this before, and thought this would be the perfect time. I'm excited to be at AK for opening time! We'll just eat a counter service for lunch or have a snack or something as we have an early dinner ADR at Narcoossee's that night. I wanted to get earlier, but the earliest we could get was 5:50. I'm hoping we can eat and make it back to Main Street to watch Wishes (as DH hasn't seen Wishes from Main Street as of yet). Wishes is scheduled for 8pm that night, so we might be cutting it kind of close, but I'm hoping for some sort of pixie dust!

MK has EMH that night and we loved it so much the last time, we're definitely going to do EMH again!

The next day we're having breakfast at Kona Cafe which we've never done, but we must try the Tonga Toast and I really want to try the Pineapple Macadamia Nut Pancakes! From there, we'll take the monorail to TTC then to EPCOT. This is our EPCOT day. We'll be here all day. We're having lunch in Germany (tradition) and dinner in Mexico (one of our faves). DH has not been on MS yet, so we have to do it some time during this day. We'll finish off the day watching IllumiNations. I know we'll be enjoying some FABs that day for sure. Because we really like EPCOT and want to just mostly walk around and relax etc.

Our last day we'll have breakfast at CP (also a tradition). I'm thinking we might try to head over to DS if we can, figuring we did most of MK hopefully by this time (or at least the things we really want to do). The thing is, we'd only be going to DS for TSM and RnRC, so I don't know if it'll pay to go all the way over there, this is more a play it by ear kind of morning...

Then, of course, back to BLT and CR for our DME pick up to go "home"

Whew! That was a long post, huh? Sorry! I just thought I'd let you guys know what our plan is right now....

So, what else to peeps put in their PTR's anyway? Any input?

I don't have much else to plan for this trip I don't think. I guess we'll still pre-order the Photopass CD, though we'll only be there for 3 days, which kind of sucks. But I really like those pics and if you don't pre-order, it's so much more $!

The only other thing I have to do is set up for a car to bring us to the airport, but I don't have to worry about that until a few days before we leave...

We're taking one big suitcase that we'll share. I think I'll start packing in Sept sometime, hopefully not leaving it until the last minute like I usually do!

I think that's it for now!

Oh yeah! I know we also wanna try the Kim Possible thing too just for the heck of it! It looks like fun-

TTFN!

WOW! Look at me! I'm the only one posting to my own PTR! :rotfl:

Oh well! That's ok, it totally won't deter me from posting my TR when I return!!

Anyway, I'm only 8 days out now so VERY excited!!!!

I'm sure I have more to update, but since no one has commented as of yet, I'll just keep it to myself! :lmao:

Interesting though I will say that. I've never had this happen to me in the DISbride section or the other Disney board I post on, oh well! Guess you all just have to get to know me is all!

I hope everyone who is leaving shortly for their trips have magical ones!:wizard:

Thanks! Finally! I thought maybe I wrote something bad or I really don't know why I never got any response here at all!

We're down to 7 days now! whoo hoo!

Only 2 more days and we'll be home at BLT!!!!!

Can't wait! (And am wishing the storms away) unless they help with the humidity! :rotfl:

This is too funny! I'm like tawking to myself over here!

I wonder if my TR will get the same response? hmmm...we'll have to wait and see I guess! :)
