It's EE for MGM and we want to see if we can do RnR and ToT. We are at the bus stop at 7:30 and in line at MGM by 7:45! Gotta love that!
We run right through to RnR but it's DOWN again! The CM explains that it will be up again soon so we grab FP's and head over to ToT. The sign says 65 min but really it doesn't look that long and I am given a white card to hold. We meet a lady in front of us with 2 daughters and she explains that she isn't going on the ride but her DH is and she is holding the space. No problem here! She swaps out with DH after about 15 min or so and by this time we are all chatting away and enjoying the wait. Time flies by and we get to the inside I look at my watch and we have only been waiting 30 min. Not bad! We get seperated from our adopted family but meet back up again and the Dad tells the CM that there are 5 of us in the group! What a guy! He puts himself in the center seat with the seatbelt allowing me and DS12 to sit with his daughters. We are all screaming like crazy and really really like this ride! I don't like my pic though and don't buy it. We wave goodbye and we find DH and DS5 right outside waiting for us. DH points out the coffee place and tells me where the potty is and then they go on the ride. I use both places that he told me about and we are waiting on a bench when they come out! It's time for FP at RnR so we head over there to see if it's up!
It is so DH and DS12 go on first. They love it and we are waiting in the store when they come out. Me and DS12 run to get on and we go right in, gotta love PS! I love this ride! I HATE upside down ANYTHING but I love this ride! I love it so much I pay $19.99 for 4 postcards! It's early yet, about 10am so we decide to leave MGM and hit MK so that DS5 can ride some rides that he likes. The plan was ride, PP, Pooh and tea cups...go back to CBR for a swim and lunch and go back to MK for Tink's flight! That's the plan! The plan did not happen!
We get to MK and are immediately surprised to see characters everywhere!!!! We get in a line and get the ape from Jungle Book's pic. We see Pinocchio but as we get close in line he has his break time! We walk up the street and there we see Mickey coming out of the castle! We run over and are 2nd in line! The CM takes 2 pics of all of us, next is Stitch and we get pics and signs there too! WOW! This is great! DH sits with the stroller while we hop from line to line just loving this. DS5 is a pro now, having the page open and the pen ready. We're getting hungry so decide to get an ice cream on Main Street and have a sit. I look up and realize that we are right under Tink's line! This is it! This is the place we are going to be at 7:00 TONIGHT!!!! Man, it's getting hot, go figure we're in Florida after all! To us in Jersey 40 is a heat wave!
We head back to CBR for a swim and as the boys hit the arcade me and DH hit the gift shop to pick up my stuff from the day before shopping spree in Epcot. I want one of those glow cubes and I go on the hunt for one. No luck so we go hit the pool bar to watch a little CNN and have a drink. The boys decide they want to hit the pool and it's early yet so I say go ahead. They go back to the room to change and bring us our suits and some towels. I'm a little worried about the war situation and wonder if my brother was able to email me. I ask for a terminal and the bartender tells me about one inside and that I can access my email from there. I head in and spend $6 for 6 min. but I have a few emails from my bro and they are ok! I'm soooo relieved I head back outside and toast the soldiers in the Middle East...the whole bar area joins me!
We are big NASCAR fans and hadn't heard what the outcome of Sunday's race is so the bartender (Mike) tells us to ask someone from Alabama! Well there happens to be a guy from Alabama sitting next to us and we strike up a convo. He introduces us to his gf and we all start talking and laughing about everything under the sun. The boys ask us to hit the pool with them and we all suit up and go for a dip! At this time I look at my watch and it's going on 5pm. Ummm guys we have to leave to get to MK to see Tink fly! They all want to stay with DH saying he wants to stay the LOUDEST! I wander over and get a hair wrap ($8) my hair is short! We split a pizza with our new Alabama friends, do some more swimming and watch Illuminations from the beach. I had 4 drinks....4! let me tell you it felt like 40! OH boy! What was he putting in that concoction?? Oh! Southern Comfort??!!! Well that explains it! Not excatly sure what time we got back to our room.....have no idea what time I fell asleep but from what I'm told I snored A LOT! The good news? I didn't loose a map today!
