I just wanted to share my dress hanger for the wedding day. I purchased it from an Etsy seller:

Isn't it adorable?! Mine will say "Wendy & Eric".

Wendy I LOVE the hanger! I wish I knew of that or that they had been around for my wedding! It will make for great dress photos! Gorgeous!!

Wow I can't believe it's only 97 days! That's crazy!! Love the hangers. Very cute.

Gosh I know, it's really going by so quickly. :scared1:

Thank you! :cutie: I stumbled on it randomly while browsing Etsy.

I just purchased Eric's wedding day gift, a pair of custom vintage map cuff links, off Etsy of course. I think I'm becoming obsessed with the site. This is like the 5th or 6th purchase I've made from sellers there! The two locations that will be included are a map of Raleigh, NC (where we met in college) and Orlando, FL (where we're getting married!). He's been wanting cuff links for a really long time now. He loves maps and as soon as I saw these I knew they were perfect for him!

We are also in the process of doing our invitations. Originally we were going to do them all ourselves (we only need 13) and send them out by the end of February. Things have been super busy and when we finally sat down to start the planning process last week, I realized I didn't want to deal with it! So we turned to Etsy yet again and we have found a wonderful seller to work with that does amazing work with invitations. She will be making our invites and hopefully I will have a proof soon! Of course I will post pictures :)

I totally stole your idea of the cuff links..when I saw them posted on your page..my immediate thought was how much DF will LOVE those. I ordered them and they are awesome..I am totally satisfied and cannot wait to give him them...thank you for sharing your idea and allowing others like myself to steal it! LOL...I can't believe how fast our day is approaching...I'm off to print the info for the welcome folders

I'm so glad I could help!! These forums are great because we can share our ideas and have the chance to inspire other people with them! :goodvibes Did you already receive them or did you just place the order? I'm still waiting on Anne to get back to me about making them, but I only made the purchase yesterday so hopefully I'll hear from her soon. I can't wait to give them to my DF either! I just know he's going to love them :lovestruc

I had my phone appointment with Rosie last week!!! I'm so excited because we finalized all those little details I've been putting off including flowers, cake, petals for tossing, etc.

First, we've decided on my and my maid of honor's bouquets. I am doing yellow and white Gerber daisies hand tied and wrapped in black and white polka dot ribbon. My maid of honor's bouquet will look similar to this, while mine will be obviously larger  :

Second, we found out we can customize our cake that comes with the Escape package because I'm not a fan of any of the designs. We are going to have a simple 2-layer cake with white fondant. Then each of the layers will have the same black/white polka dot ribbon lining the bottoms and fresh yellow Gerber daisies will be added at the top (next to our Mickey/Minnie topper) and on the layers.

Lastly, we've finalized the men's boutineers. They will each have a yellow Gerber daisy wrapped in the black/white polka dot ribbon. My DF will have a larger daisy while the rest of the men (fathers and best man) will have mini Gerbers.

We are also just purchasing the petals to toss at the staged exit from Disney because I just don't want to deal with buying them else where. We are going with the basket of yellow rose petals at $2.50/guest. It actually only comes out to $45 which isn't horrible and easier to deal with for us.

Yay!

Oh I forgot to mention that my maid of honor choose her dress! I let her decide on whatever dress she wanted as long as it's in black. We're paying for her dress as a gift for her being my MOH, so I wanted to make sure she choose something she'd get multiple uses out of outside of our wedding and that she just really loved. She choose this dress from Alfred Angelou and it looks fantastic on her!! :cool1:

Do you know how much disney is charging you for customizing your cake? We were thinking about doing that but figured it was too much money..I love your flowers (I'm biased, as you know we are using gerbera's too)...the dress that your MOH picked it is really nice and we are also doing the petals through Disney because it is one less thing we have to worry about :)

that's great that you're going to be able to customize your cake for not much extra money. The floral looks great, I love the polka dot ribbon and the MOH dress is supercute!
