Hi and welcome to my pre-trip report!



So as you can tell by the title it will not be just my husband and I going on our honeymoon. Crazy huh? Well maybe I should give a bit of backround before I get there.

My husband and I have been together for almost 10 years (10 in July). We got together when I was 14 and he was 15.

Fast forward 8 years

We had a beautiful baby girl

Then last summer we decided it was probably about time we get married. Think the first sex and the city movie when Big & Carrie were discussing getting married. Yep, thats almost exactly how it went for us . 3 months later we were getting married at my DH's Grandparents property.

Don't worry we're almost current now

At the time we were married we were not able to take a honeymoon.

Oh well, all that meant is we were going to save up for an AWESOME honeymoon!

QUESTION: Why is it that my family is heading to Disneyworld with us for our honeymoon?
ANSWER: DH & I could not go to Disneyworld without our baby girl. We would go crazy being away from her. Then my Mom & Step-dad told us that they could help watch her & have a much needed vacation if they went too. Can't argue with that. So this trip is now the DISNEYMOON FAMILY VACATION!

Now that I have your attention let's start with the who, what, when & Where (why has already been explained)

WHO:
Me- Hi, Im Rachel! 24 year old homemaker. Lover of all things pink and all things disney! Collector of Vacation planning videos and disney pins

DH- Bobby! Almost 25 year old. Works super hard so that I am able to stay home with our daughter. I adore him in everyway. He is my Prince Charming covered in a bit of grease . He also is a big pin collector!

DD-Hailey! The light of our life. She is the most amazing thing to happen to our lives. Loves The princess and the frog (one of the 5 words she can say right now is tiana). It is the only movie that has ever caught her attention and she will actually watch.

DM- Lisa- My mom! The stem of my disney addiction. The organized one in the family (well, somebody had to be). Collects Disney Snowglobes and Ride attraction posters. She is pretty much the coolest person ever!!

DSD (step-dad)- Pat! My mom's rock. The Peanut Butter to her Jelly. The best step-dad I could ask for. He has been in my life since I was 5. Would much rather go on a week long fishing trip but still has a place in his heart for Disney.

WHAT:
10 days, 9 nights at Disneyworld!!!! 7 days, 6 Nights for my mom & pat!!! (they wanted us to have some time to ourselves)

WHERE:
Port Orleans Riverside!!

WHEN:
September 14th- September 23rd! (We will be there on our 1st Anniversary)

on going to Disney World for your honeymoon, with your family. Think that's a great idea as it means your DD who is sooo gorgeous by the way will get to come with you and you will also have some quality alone time with DH whilst DD is spending time with her grandparents

We will be there at a similar time (just the two of us going) so am looking forward to reading more

Thank you!! I think shes gorgeous too (but my opinion is a tad bit biased ). Thats exciting that your going to be there around the same time!! It's so much fun to think about actually getting there!

Time for Dining Plans! Dining Plans are always easy for me as long as I can get reservations lol. The last 2 times we have gone to WDW I have tried to get into Le Celliar with no luck.

You better believe I am making those dining reservations the day my countdown says 180 days

Here is what we are definitely trying for though

Wednesday September 14th- Boatwrights- Arrival Day for Hubby, Baby & I
We don't arrive to Florida until 5-5:30ish that night. Looking for around 7pm. I don't remember a whole lot about it but I do remember that I really enjoyed it.

Thursday September 15th- Hollywood & Vine
Not usually a buffet person but we LOVE this one!

Friday September 16th- Cap'n Jacks
I remember liking the food well enough but being in heaven over their chocolate cake with Rasberry & Caramel Sauce (thats probably why I took a picture of it). Bobby really Liked the crab cakes. It was the only restaurant we went to twice last time

Saturday September 17th-Tutto Italia- Arrival Day for my Mom & Pat-
Never been to this one. We have gone to L'Originale Alfredo di Roma Ristorante & Also Via Napoli. I miss Alfredo's Baked Ziti. I wish the new restaurant would put it on the menu. That would be awesome.

Sunday September 18th- Sci Fi Dine In & Akershus Royal Banquet Hall
This is my husband & I's 1st Anniversary. We will be spending the evening at Sci Fi Dine In (Food has been pretty average but we love the atmosphere)

while Hailey has a character dinner with her grandparents at Akershus.I have to admit Im a tad bit jealous but still very happy that she gets to experience something new with Grandma & Grandpa

Monday September 19th- Coral Reef
LOVE LOVE LOVE The Atmosphere here. Last time we were lucky enough to sit right next to the tank. Here is hoping to that same luck this time

Tuesday September 20th- Big River Grill & Brewing
Never been here but always look at the menu. Seems like a good place for the guys especially. Any thoughts from anyone who has been here?

Wednesday September 21st- Le Celliar
Here is to hoping!!! I have been dreaming about their Mushroom Filet Mignon since 2006 when we last got a reservation there. Yummy!! Oh and incase you guys would also like to drool....

Thursday September 22nd- Rose & Crown & Teppan Edo
Seperating again. The 3 of us will be eating at Rose & Crown (DH, DD & I)

While my Mom and Pat have some alone time at Teppan Edo.

Fish and Chips Here I come. But every year I go I tell myself to try something new there. Any suggestions??

16 More days and I can make dining reservations!!!!!!

Your dining plans look great! Good luck with getting into Le Cellier - have heard how difficult it can be. That dessert at Cap'n Jacks looks sooo good - making me want to book an ADR there

Hi, I'm here and looking forward to reading your PTR. I'll be there in September too on my honeymoon! We're arriving the day after you leave though. Kudos on taking the whole family. That is so nice you get to have your beautiful daughter there but also nice of your parents to watch her so you and your hubby can have some alone time. I think Akershus looks gorgeous. I would love to dine with some princesses, but I'm saving that for another time for the sake of my fiance.

That is so exciting that your going for your disneymoon too! Congrats on the upcoming marriage!! I totally understand about saving that for another time. I made my DH do Cinderella's Royal Table back when were dating. He wasn't nearly as excited at I was.

And I feel like a I am getting the best of both worlds

So it's been over a month since my last post . I have got to get better at posting lol.

So everything has been booked and I am pleased to say we got all of the reservation we were hoping for!!!!! Well with one little exception.. Big River Grille & Brewing works doesn't take reservations. So I guess we are just going to take our chances on a Tuesday Afternoon. Here's hoping anyways

Now that everything is booked and planned as much as my husband will let me plan, I have to figure out a way to keep the magic up for 5 more months. Any Suggestions?

Wow, It's been a while lol.
Between Baby dumping her juice on my keyboard and getting a horrible Virus on my computer I had to take a break.

But all is well now

We are down to 112 days or 16 weeks or 3 months 21 days. I think I like 16 weeks. It sounds the closest to me.

I am slowly driving Bobby crazy with Disneyworld movies. (6 vacation videos + the park videos I bought back in '08) but at least he's being a good sport about it. I've been racking my brain trying to think of something special we can do just the two of us on our anniversary when Hailey is with her grandparents. So far nothing... Maybe I just won't plan anything and see where it goes.

We have also decided we are going to try to book the professional photopass shoot at either Polynesian or Grand Floridian for family pictures (Something we have yet to do). I'm excited

Anyway that's it for now as Hailey just woke up.

Im so excited!! I bought my first trip purchase so far!

97 Minutes of Hailey entertainment on the airplane! Between that, Tangled & Princess and the frog I'm hoping that will hold her attention the duration of the flight. Seattle to Orlando is a loong flight

Thanks! We finally decided not to do the shoot :sad2. The Money it would have cost we would rather spend on stuff we know we're not going to need.
I am definitely hoping she'll stay entertained It's a long flight with a toddler

That's so good to hear! I haven't been able to find many dining reviews for it! Aww Happy Anniversary to you as well!!! That's awesome that you will be there at the same time! Maybe we'll run into eachother!



I'm going to the store tomorrow to get new batteries for my camera so I can share some of Disney purchases (I'm so excited!!!)
