Our Disney Wonder the final morning 08/03/03

[I Intrigue You]

I had left a wake up call so Mickey woke us up bright and early. We went out and enjoyed our last few minutes out on the Verandah. We gather the rest of our things and left our stateroom for the final time. We went up to Beach Blanket Buffet and had our last breakfast...We got off the ship found our luggage it was very painless. There were not enough Porters to help with the luggage so we ended up lugging it back to the car. We left the port and we made it back to Jax by 10:30 we all spent the rest of the day napping......Even though we had a great vacation it was good to be home!!!

The Good
Our stateroom attendant was great. We requested an extra pillow and he brought it to us right away. We always had ice in our room twice a day. He made adorable towel art and he always left my daughter stuffed animal posed in some way at one point he made a rabbit who was wearing 3-D glasses and the stuffed dog was also.

My husband really got his money's worth out of the beer mug program

Castaway Cay was beautiful....I hope we can explore it a lot more on our next cruise

The Bad

The only bad thing about the whole trip was there just isn't enough time to do everything we wanted to do. I'm glad we did get to watch the two shows on the TV when we were getting ready for bed

Can you give me the details on the beer mug deal. Is that offered on all cruises? 3, 4 & 7?

The beer mugs were either $9.99 or $10.99 and the refills were $3.50. The mugs are 20oz and I persoanlly thought it was a tad costly but my hubby is the beer drinker and he thought he got a good deal. We actually paid more for beer in the parks than on the ship. Everytime you get your mug refilled they give you a new chilled mug so your final beer is the mug you end up taking home.....it is a nice souvenir.

As far as I know it's offered on all cruises

Thanks for the great trip report...I enjoyed reading it!! We are doing the same cruise in Oct with our 2 GC (6&8). I'm soo depressed...it just sounds soooo short!!! Oh well...I guess it gives us that much more incentive to go again as we have other GC waiting their turn. (We agreed to do 2 at a time!) What cabin were you in?
