Between nerves, stress, and everything else that comes before a wedding I thought I'd type up a bit of a trip report for my upcoming honeymoon at WDW to calm my nerves. With that said let me introduce the cast:
Me: 31. Disney fanatic. I've only been to WDW twice, and the first time was only for a day way back before Epcot. Last trip was a birthday surprised from my DW (to be)
DW (to be): 29. Disney convert. When we went back in 2000 she went because I wanted to go, but when she finally hit the parks she became an instant convert.
We're taking off from Newark-Liberty airport on July 25th at 7:30 AM (yeah, like anything ever happens on time at that airport) which means getting up at 4:30 AM to be out of the house by 5. What a way to start our married life together! We hope to be in Orlando by 11 and over to WDW by 1.
Hopefully we'll be able to get into our room at CBR (requested Martinique) with a minimal of fuss, but since it's the busy part of the year just getting our UPH passes will make me happy. We have PS' at Restaurant Marrakesh that evening. The rest of our time looks like this:
Monday: Animal Kingdom. Breakfast at Boma and Dinner at Jiko
Tuesday: Disney Studios. Lunch at Sci-Fi and Dinner at the 50's Prime Time
Wednesday: Epcot. Lunch at San Angel Inn. Dinner at Le Cellier
Thursday: Magic Kingdom. Lunch at Liberty Tree. Dinner at California Grill
Friday: Rest day. Breakfast at Chef Mickeys. Tea at Grand Floridian. La Nouba and Dowtown Disney that night. I am hoping to get into the Adventurer's Club sometime that evening.
Saturday: Sea World. We're doing dine with Shamu which I've heard is really neat. I'm really looking forward to this because I'm a huge marine life fan (must be that biology minor I never did anything with)
Sunday: Up in the air. Breakfast at Whispering Canyon. Dinner at Victoria and Alberts (Our big honeymoon celebration dinner, something we are REALLY looking forward to)
Monday: Magic Kingdom (possilbly MGM to go on Star Tours which is suppose to be in rehab during the first part of our stay
) Lunch at the Kona Cafe. Dinner at Artist's Point.
Tuesday: Epcot. Lunch at Akershus. Dinner at Ohana's (I blame the Food TV wedding special and Lilo and Stitch for basically requiring us to eat here)
Wednesday: Heading home. Doing Magic Kingdom in the morning with our last meal of lunch at the Liberty Tree. This is becoming a tradition for us because last time we were there Liberty Tree was also the last place we ate.
Well, there you go. Hope I haven't bored you all to tears. I just needed to post something to keep me from exploding with anticipation!
